Melanie has been amazing at helping us through our new build buying process. Before Melanie started at the development the previous sales person often gave incorrect information and advice when it came to our house choices and the process I just wish Melanie had started sooner as she is very knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. Whenever we have questions she always gets back to us right away, we get informed answers and are confident in what she says, if she needs to branch out to answer them she always keeps us updated. Melanie has really helped us get the move date we needed and has been great at chasing up the updates we needed we are confident that she is always on the other end of the phone to help and there hasn’t been a time we couldn’t get hold of her.

Our experience with buying a genesis home would have been much better if we had Melanie from the beginning as we did not have the opportunity to properly pick our choices in the house in relation to tiling and moving electrics etc… due to old sales teams. I know if we had Melanie during this part of the process we would have had a much better experience.

We are yet to move in but are looking forward to handing over the keys with Melanie.

Mel from the lunefield rise development has been great to work with whilst purchasing my property. Always on had to take my calls and answer any questions I have.

We called into the site office at Derwent Rise, Seaton without an appointment. This was no problem, the sales representative, Lou, was so accommodating. She was so welcoming and went above and beyond to help us. She listened well to our requirements and then arranged for us to view properties of interest. Lou answered all our questions and was very patient with us. We were so impressed with what we saw and with how we were dealt with. Just a matter of choosing the right plot now!

I had an appointment with Louise recently to discuss a property i had seen online. The property i was interested in would not have been suitable for me however she showed me other options, two of which i am definately interested in. She was extremlely helpful, anwsered all my questions and i asked alot. Nothing was too much trouble. She made me feel as ease at quite a difficult time of my life and i left the appointment feeling postive. Thankyou Louise xx

I was passing through Seaton, so thought id just drop in to the temporary office and get some information about the site etc. I never had an appointment booked in advance, but Lou was very welcoming and made time for me. She was very informative and helped me with my concerns. I came out feeling really pleased id called by. Thank you Lou, you are a star 🌟

I have had a fantastic experience throughout my house purchase at Derwent Rise, with a special mention to Lou. She is incredibly friendly, approachable, and has made the whole process feel much less stressful. Genesis Homes chose Sunbeams Music Trust as their Charity of the year in 2023 and raised significant funds to support Sunbeams Projects across the County of Cumbria. Sunbeams Projects help improve quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through the power of music. The Team at Genesis Homes gave so much time and energy to promoting the work of Sunbeams, fundraising and volunteering. My experience ??? The "Olive Green View" development in Halton is a total oxymoron. I DID have a "Green View", with trees, sheep and cows sprawled for as far as rhe eye could see. Now all I've got is a great big carbuncle of a housing estate, a WHITE MONSTROSITY of a housing development, ffs, in my once beautiful, idyllic vista. Needless to say my "Forever" retirement bungalow is now up for sale. GREEN BELT LAND SHOULD NEVER BE BUILT ON !!! There are plenty of brown belt sites in the middle and edges of big towns and cities to bolt these new homes to. LEAVE GREEN BELT HAMLETS AND VILLAGES ALONE. Build these development at the end of the city dweller planning applications officers road. NOT MINE.

Avoid!!Dont fall for the image!!

Customer service is non existent. As soon as you become a customer you are just another number to be ignored.

A real shame that the effort which is put into portraying the image of the company isnt carried into the actual service.

Take a real look at the reviews below, majority of these are not from real customer engagement, where money has been exchanged. Google reviews is mainly staff.

Awful company with shocking management. Do your research, better options out there.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Lou, John, and Steve for all their help and support. The house was explained clearly and in detail, and they took the time to make sure we fully understood everything, which we were very grateful for.

They were all incredibly welcoming, patient, and approachable, and nothing ever felt rushed or pressured. The whole experience was made easy and reassuring thanks to their professionalism and kindness. We truly appreciate the time and care they put into helping us.

Customer services have been as helpful as they can. Sometimes their contractors let them down a bit, but Genesis have put their all in to sort things out.

Chloe was new to Genesis as she explained to me, but showed a great deal of knowledge and you wouldnt have known she was new. Very helpful and great to deal with! No pressure and very honest.

A friendly and professional team with lots of plans for the future which sound fantastic. Lauren is a pleasure to work with.
