My trip to the Italian Lake Villages with Gohagan was excellent. The area is spectacularly beautiful and the trip met all my expectations. Gohagan staff made sure all our needs were met, our tours were on time and carefully curated. Interacting with others on the trip was rewarding. I returned home from a pleasurable vacation as well as a stimulating learning experience.
Only the traveling from Boston was difficult. The overall trip experience, I have eagerly shared with family and friends.

Incredible staff, super programs, and consistent attention to details!

The ship was not as good as the Ponant ships we have been on in the past. Our cabins had a very dirty trash can and mold in the shower . Food was as just average.

The cruise portion of the trip, including shore excursions, were well managed. For me, the highlight was the day at Alhambra in Granada Spain. The river cruise up to Seville was a fun a variation. The Gohagan staff were helpful. The onboard lectures were informative. The on-board entertainment otherwise was adequate. The extension to Marrakech was disappointing - too touristy and too many meals of tagine style with belly dancers.

Trip was fantastic. Food was an issue for much of the group and our guide made the comment that it was the hardest thing they could match with the group. The visit to the art school seemed disruptive for the students and a little uncomfortable for us.

The hotels were wonderful and everything on the ship was great. The only problems we had were during our excursions. We had great difficulty understanding several of the guides "English" - especially Akieko and Miki. Reiko was fantastic and very easy to understand. The tours were great and always on time.

Excellent staff, very helpful, super patient, made the booking process very easy. Cindy DeMais deserves an award for excellence!
The trip was interesting, the guides very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The ship’s cabin was very spacious. The only disappointing thing was the food. The fish was over cooked, the roast beef difficult to cut…this was my first trip with this ship. Previous trips were with Ponant where I was spoiled by their chef,🤗

Too much down time. I’m not a shopper. My cabin on the ship was terrible. So noisy. Every day. Woke me at 6.

The overall trip was well organized. The size of the groups was manageable.
I liked the "whisper" devices in that they aided in our hearing our guides clearly.

We had great guides, amazing food and a great itinerary

The employees of Gohagan were excellent. Everything ran smooth, I could not have asked for anything better.

The service was really great. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were happy with everything going on in our ship. The room service was great, the meals were great, the staff tended to our needs, the excursions were nice. There were a few too man mosques and palaces to my liking. Would have loved to have a little more interaction in the city with the local folks.

They didn’t add value but served as a needless middleman on our trip, which added to the cost.

The hotels and food were fine. The bus driver should get an award for getting us through those roads in one piece.

The places we saw were excellent. I especially enjoyed the address by the retired Chief Justice of their supreme court.

It would have been nice to have a couple of additional speakers about their history and customs and to receive a few handouts (although I bought books).

I noticed a few glitches during the period leading up to the trip, presumably caused by the change in your staff at the last minute.

Gohagen has smaller groups, which allows personal connections, and a close friends feel to touring. They get quality appointments, and exclusive access to certain venues. We really liked it.

Well conceived, varied experiences/sites, good guide(s) and very good location.

2 suggestions: at opening night reception have everyone introduce himself/herself briefly. Only once was there no enough time to get browsing/shopping and lunch in ithe time allotted--Broadway on a Sunday. Group lunch like one at Blenham are good.

All the staff was so pleasant and helpful. A special thanks to Hendry for meeting our special dietary needs. That made it feel like we were equals with the other guests instead of an after thought as we have experienced on other tours.

The tour to Milan and Lake Como was well organized, well run and staffed with great people. Gohagan was very helpful from start to finish.

Our tour director, Marc Nathan, was outstanding!
He is so knowlegable & entertaining. Very organized and calm with some very ditzy people.
I wish my history teachers had been as great!
