GO Outdoors - Bangor Avis 

We were camping in the area but had experienced an issue with the gas we were using for our stove. We called in at the Bangor store and were welcomed straight away by the manager, James. We explained our issue and he was able to show us exactly why we had the issue we did and show us which products would rectify this. It was clear immediately that James knew his stuff and was passionate about camping - he was incredibly knowledgeable. He noticed that we had pulled up in the car park with a roof tent and was discussing this with us too. I had asked him, given his knowledge of the area, if there was anywhere he could recommend for us to pitch up with the roof tent. Without hesitation, James showed us a location that he frequents which is suitable for our needs and where we could also take a dip in the lake. I’ve never been wild swimming and always wanted to, so we decided to try his recommendation. It was beautiful & I even tried my first wild swim as a result! James was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and took the time to discuss not just products we could buy but the local area too - he definitely went above and beyond! So much so, that we called in again later in the week to thank him for his advice and recommendations as those experiences had made our week!

Products and store employees are always amazing

Went on 2 separate days to post parcels and was served by Nabeil. He was lovely. Very efficient and helpful. Also really friendly. He's a great addition to your staff. Give that man a pay rise!!

We had an issue with the waterproofing of a new tent that we bought in April.
We spoke to a staff member, named Paul who gave us options & helped us exchange the tent for a different model.
Paul provided a 5 star service & is an asset to Go Outdoors!!!
He was extremely helpful as were the 2 other team members that we dealt with. (Apologies for not remembering your names)
Everyone had a friendly & professional attitude along with being extremely helpful!!!

Only came in for the Evri parcel drop off. Not sure why one street door is labelled “gym” as they all go into the same foyer! Drop off is at back of 1st floor. Nabeil efficiently accepted my parcel and requested a review. So here it is!!

He was very knowledgable about their stock and the differences between products and their qualities whilst I was trying to choose. This team are always friendly and helpful and I love coming here and always get what I need from professional and courteous staff.

Fantastic customer service by John! Came in looking for hiking boots, but wasn't sure what to get. He asked all the right questions & rather than sell me the most expensive boots, I got a pair very reasonably priced and SO COMFORTABLE. They are perfect & exactly what I wanted. Thank you John. You were excellent.

Fantastic service today from all the staff, especially Nabeil who went out of his way to help find me some comfortable walking sandals. Went in for shoes and came out with lots of lovely clothes from the sale. Will definitely be back again.

The store assistant Nabeil who served us was extremely helpful. He was very friendly and knew alot about the walking shoe range and gave me some great advice when choosing walking shoes. It was the 4th shop I had visited today and ended up purchasing some from Go Outdoors, mainly because of Nabeils help.
