Shop assistant Karen helped us find the correct outdoor boots. She gave us plenty of advice and guidance on fit and how to make the fit most comfortable. We have since used the boots and the advice given made our hike more comfortable

Looking for a pair of walking shoes Saturday 27th June. Member of staff (sorry, I didn't get her name) was very helpful, allowed me to try different sizes and walk about the store before I decided on what was right for me. Settled on the Peter Storm Silverdale II which appear very comfortable and a good fit. Will review them separately once I've used them a few times. Also asked for reccomendation on the best socks to go with them, and once again the staff member was extremely helpful (and patient !!) while a decided on the right ones for me. A great experience which I will happily repeat.

Chloe was incredibly helpful today. She very kindly put a tent aside for me to collect later on as I was at work. I had previously purchased the same tent online and it ripped, it was sent back but out of stock online so I didn’t receive a replacement. If it wasn’t for Chloe, I wouldn’t have the tent of my dreams right now! I would also like to mention Karen who served me when I collected the tent, she was also incredibly helpful

Helpful staff at Coatbridge (Ross and Connor), helped with a product return - i needed to swap a pair of hiking shorts that were too tight for a bigger pair.

Friendly and professional staff and pleasant chat about DofE and DofE recommended products.

Nipped in to send a parcel via ups. I was immediately greeted by Karen who directed me to the correct area. She was super friendly & helpful, even although it was the hottest day of the year. I nipped over to the returns desk & Craig & Chloe were equally as helpful & completed my return in minutes & I got the confirmation through immediately. Every single member of staff that I saw or spoke to looked like they enjoyed their job even although the shop was so warm. The selection of products was excellent & the shop was very tidy & organised so I will definitely go back soon.

Went here after camping and running out of camping gas and experiencing a broken kettle. Was guided to the correct items quickly and professionally by Karen who acted friendly and went the extra mile.

A regular customer to gooutdoors and the staff can be hit or miss depending on who you speak to. Was very disappointed today when attempting to buy a £140 toddler bike with absolutely no help from the staff I spoke to. Was told the only person in the shop who can process the bikes warranty was on his break and wouldn’t be back for half an hour. Found this very strange that out of all the staff in the store only one person could process this for me… if you are tight on staff I suggest cross training them so this doesn’t result in lost sales and very disappointed customers. Lucky my son was fine with me leaving the bike and didn’t seem bothered but this could have been a big disappointment for him also. Go outdoors Coatbridge must not need the money or the customers, zero customer care. Won’t be back. Plenty other retailers online to order from.

Ross and Emma were fantastic, I came in for a new tent pole and left with a load of stuff, they were extremely helpful and courteous.

Really helpful staff, definitely went the extra mile to ensure excellent customer service.

I was in store today and the service that I received was excellent, I was served by Ross who was very helpful and knowledgeable about his work, I would definitely recommend going here as it was a first class service from Ross as it’s not often you would get this helpful service from a business. He’s a very valuable team member.
