New Rucksack 🎒
I was looking for a new rucksack Sam helped me choose a one that fit and was within my price range. He showed me the USP's and checked how it fit, I'm only 5ft 3. I said I wanted to look at other shops before purchasing, however I came back and bought this one from Sam. OEX Vallo Air 28L in red. Thank you for your help

Outstanding service from Sam at Keswick
Visited the Keswick store today and had a fantastic experience thanks to Sam. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout our visit. We purchased a carrier backpack, and he took the time to carefully ensure my nephew was safely and securely strapped in. He also walked us through how everything works and answered all our questions with great patience.
A big thank you to Sam — he’s a real asset to the store!

Great staff
Hadn't intended to buy anymore outdoor stuff but we popped in to have a browse. Husband found a pair of soft shell trousers at £57/£52 and a gilet for me. Enquired about membership, staff were really helpful. Nice surprise when the trousers came up at £39...and they fit perfectly.

Shows price but then in small writing states members price. However wouldn't mind if they advertised the non members price. Nowhere to say how much they were. Couldn't read the small print stating members found out at till. Should both prices very misleading. ******TRIED TO EMAIL IT SAYS INVALID EMAIL ADDRESS *******

Staff at the Keswick branch very friendly and helpful and they also managed to solve the problem of why my go outdoors card wasn’t working properly which was great as every time I used it in other branches I had problems

I needed new walking shoes
I needed new walking shoes, not boots. The advice I was given was just what I needed. I’d been looking for a while but had no luck. I didn’t bother looking any further. The shoes I was shown were comfortable and suitable for what I needed. I’ve been wearing them for a week, they’re perfect. Thank you.

Price tag misleading
Price tag misleading - «£42 Was £60 » but at checkout i was charged £60 unless I agreed to buy a discount card for £5. By which time I had wasted time trying the shorts on and the psychological pressure to buy the card worked. Pricing displays need to be accurate and honest.

Haven 350 shelter
Great help and service from the Keswick staff.
The Haven 350 shelter I bought is really robust and stood up to strong wind and rain, but note, it is quite heavy and bulky when packed down.
