I asked if I could take two waterproof jackets out of packaging boxes & try for size. Staff member Sheena, was so helpful, manning checkout at the same time as opening boxes for me & repackaging unsuitable item.
I selected Peter Storm waterproof, signed up for Go Outdoors loyalty card, as immediate discount on jacket. After payment transaction, I remembered Youth Hostel Association discount & asked if it also applied. Sheena immediately sorted refund & applied all discounts.
She also informed me click & collect now available for online sales.
Excellent customer service and friendly, patient manner.
Company sells wide product range, competitive prices, well set out store.

On our recent visit to Keswick, we visited the store to purchase new jackets.
Sheena could not have been more helpful, we left with two coats that were perfect for the spec we asked for.

Very good shopping experience
No pressure to buy anything from assistants. When asked the young lady was very informative and patient. Eventually we wanted to purchase ladies walking shoes and the assistant explained the choices and sizes in stock. I also asked about the members cards and was explained the process by her. Very pleasant demeanour.

I had the pleasure of being helped by a true outdoors enthusiast at Go Outdoors Express in Keswick! Joshua’s rigorous knowledge about boots, shoes & all things GORE-TEX saved me the usual rigamarole and malarky of finding the perfect fit.
His due diligence in solving my footwear conundrum was impressive. Truly a switched-on young man!

Popped into Go Outdoors (on the off…
Popped into Go Outdoors (on the off chance) whilst looking for a new large 120lt holdall and found a great deal! Both Sam and Kelly were very helpful talking me through all the benefits and features. Great staff and a great store!
