Staff Member Lyndon was very helpful
I called in at Go Outdoors this evening to pick up some lightweight walking socks. The staff member Lyndon was very helpful in advising me which socks to buy and also finding them for me. He also pointed out the current offer of buy one pair and then buy a second at half price.

Excellent variety of stock in an…
Excellent variety of stock in an uncluttered store at a price range to suit most people.
The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful particularly Jan at the Kidderminster store who was very patient with my wife when choosing walking trainers.

I order size 9 online went and pick it up in store I been given size 10 the staff in the till not very helpful and she telling me it’size 9 not size 10 I turn the footwear over and showed her saying size 10

SJ turned our in store experience around
For a quiet store, the team at this location were awfully busy. We actively had to go look for someone to get my potential size of boots from the back. As soon as we got help and the pair of boots (which were the wrong fit) she disappeared- even after she knew that the boots weren’t the right fit. We then had to look for help again…
Fortunately SJ, who doesn’t regularly work in the footwear area, was our saving grace. Helping me with trying on a range of brands to better gauge fit and ultimately advising me to try a pair of Scarpa leather boots (almost double the price of the boots I had been trying) but her opinion and help was hugely valued. She was so helpful with care guidance too. She did everything in her power to turn our experience around and won us over with her interest in our need for the purchase. The lady at checkout was brilliant too and super friendly.
Thank you SJ, you might not get commission but I hope you get a mention of appreciation or a voucher at the least!
(It would be a 5-star rating if it weren’t for the original lady who ‘helped’ us)

Great customer service straight forward return
Great customer service.. ordered online and collection was straight forward for a garden umbrella.. unfortunately once home this item wasn't the material I had thought, so i returned to store 6 days later with no problems what so ever... and an instant refund into my account before I'd even left the shop! I would recommend just for the customer service and the efficient return process!

Chairbed - fantastic help from Dave R.
We were looking for a bed for camping and found some on the display we wanted to check. We were lucky to meet Dave R. Fishing who was more than patient with us (we were very undecided).
