GO Outdoors - Preston Avis 

After a very poor experience on the telephone to Go Outdoors Customer Care Service, I decided to contact the Deepdale store. I explained the issue and they advised me to come into the store. This was a much easier process to return a faulty item, and Shane, the store manager, couldn’t have been more helpful. Excellent in-store customer service! Thank you!

Not enough option for Women's L walking socks. Also the cashier didn't take the security prevention tag off

Looking for a strong sole on a walking boot as I cover approx 6miles a day a mix of concrete/grass and soles don’t appear to last me long. Kojo was very knowledgeable and helpful around finding that right boot around my budget too. Helpful and friendly with examples too.
Then at the till I met Kohana explained about the Go Outdoor membership, which I signed up for Very chatty and polite around my circumstances too I explained and ensuring I got the price on the tag too. Lovely experience today, great store, thank you 🤩

I bought a pair of trousers marked on the shelf at £19.98 but when I got to the desk they were £44.00.

I paid the full price as I was buying some other items but then returned to the shop after I realised.

The cashier was quite rude and gave no explanation or apology, just said the price was correct and another customer must have put them back in the wrong place. Made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and like an idiot in front of other customers.

I am a frequent Go Outdoors customer but will try to use other hikes mg shops on future due to this experience.

Sara was super helpful as I had a previous order with Go outdoors online and no membership card had arrived. Sara helped locate my account so I could have members discount.

Receipt 01440-3-61600 Return 0144-3-1470. I bought a pair of trainers on Friday for my son. He wore them on Saturday but noticed that the sole was coming away from the upper. We retuned them to your Preston store today but they could not provide a replacement in his size. He paid the difference and got a pair of boots instead. Total cost £170.00. At the chechout, the manager was called to authorise the return. I explained to him that we had to take two buses and then a long walk to get to the store. He asked where I lived and I told him. He agreed that the journey would involve two buses and a walk. I said that by the time we got home we would have been on eight buses to buy one pair of boots. As he walked away I sarcastically thanked him for his apology. He asked why I considered I was due an apology. I said because we had been put to a great deal of inconvenience to return a faulty product. He said that as he had not personally sold me the shoes, no apology was due from him. He then walked away. He said this in front of other staff and customers. What an appalling example of customer service.

came in because the elastic in my tent pole snapped - spoke to a staff member named keiren, he was super friendly and helpful and rethreaded the poles with new elastic without me having to ask - super patient and lovely, all the other staff were friendly too and went as far as giving my brother a balloon to play wirh, just overall great experience

I visited the Preston store , my wife and I needed walking boots and waterproof jackets . The variety of jackets was excellent . We both chose Craghoppers . However , choosing walking boots for me is very difficult , half size different feet . I must have tried every make, Luke in the shoe department was brilliant , he did everything with a smile , and helped me choose the correct boot for me . Thanks Luke .

I didn't like that after ordering and paying there was an item out of stock and refunded. Thought once its ordered it would be there . Also if you fund someone that actually knows what your talking about in the nearly non existent tackle area . Alsobif you do freshbaot properly you d be doing a fortune particularly at that store (close to river etc) hopefully someone may read this and change things alittle . I ts a goldmine there if used correctly thanks.

Urgently needed a replacement fibreglass pole for a camping trip this week. None in stock but exceptional customer service from Calvin and colleagues at my local Preston store. Calvin was able to find me a spare they had which was exactly the size I wanted. Can go camping now with a fully functioning tent !

Thank you Arthur on the tills today for having the nouse to sort out my membership card query in 5 seconds when customer services have not done this despite at least 20 emails! Lovely to find a helpful and interested person- 5* 👏

Had to return a tent as the bag was ripped and I picked up the wrong size carpet, shane helped us, he was really helpful and knowledgeable. They have some really good deals on tents and we are really happy with the one we picked
