GO Outdoors - Reading (Express) Avis

What an amazing experience visiting GO today in Reading..great staff, knowledgable and great prices - what more do you need!! Definitely visit again…

My wife was looking for a pair of walking shoes and selected a one off the display showing a member price of £85 plus a membership of £5. When we went to pay for it the price was nearer £150. The assistant was confused and asked the manager to check. He eventually strolled down the stairs looking very disinterested. After a couple of minutes he said that the shoes were on the wrong stand and the price on the till was correct. He flatly refused my request to honour the price advertised with a smirk on his face.

Fantastic customer service. Ciaran was brilliant. I called ahead to order a few items. By the time I got to the store, the items were ready for me to collect. Simple and easy. Excellent customer service.

First class service by the staff helped me to purchase what sorted my needs at a good price ,all the best for the Reading shop

Had a great time in the store, staff was Amazing especially Samii, didn’t feel rushed at all and got everything I needed and also got my go outdoors membership. Would 100% come again, my favourite shop to visit in Reading
Thank you all Zach

A big thanks to Sam at your Reading Branch for helping me out with a rucksack.
Very knowledgeable with good advice that helped me with my choice.
Very pleased with the price too! Thank you!

Sam was awesome and helped us get whatever we needed (and didn't even know). Nice shop and friendly staff.

Had a very good shopping experience in Reading today as after some shoes and winter top. Very good service by Veronica in the shoe department.

Veronica was very helpful

Great customer service and very polite, thanks to a member of staff, Sammi. Also was advised by her to get a membership and would make a saving. Great full and much appreciated. Thank you.

I went into the Reading store looking for a cheap rucksack. I paid £5 for the years membership, and was able to buy a very nice Nepal 65 backpack for just £20 ! It's light, appears to be well-made, and should be perfect for my day-walks along the Thames footpath and trips to London. I was served by Veronica who was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Thank you to Sophie and Sam for all their help in choosing a new waterproof jacket for my partner. Sam’s product knowledge and advice were excellent. Highly recommend the Reading team!

Every single time I'm in the store I'm very happy with customer service. The are very frendly and very professional.
Always give the right advice.
Love this place.

A great place to look for outdoor clothing and equipment. Just entered to get some idea of the prices of winter pants. Sam was very helpful giving me ideas and recommendations. So next day i went in after deciding to buy from this store. And as i went alone to buy and Sophie was very helpful and got me the best deal. Great Customer Service. A big thank you to Sam ( i later got to know he was the manager) and Sophie.

Excellent customer service and very helpful staff. Veronica was extremely helpful in setting up my account and answering my questions

I went in to buy a pair of walking shoes and was pleasantly surprised with the help I received from Veronica the section supervisor, she helped me wade through the various important elements of a good walking boot, such as a good waterproofed upper section using Gor-Tex and a well made Sole with a high grip properties.. Great help and advice with a smile. Thanks Veronica

Very helpful.
