GO Outdoors - Swindon Avis 

We went to Swindon branch to look at the tents as we were thinking of starting up camping.
With the help from Rob who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and Jay who was also very helpful we walked out with everything we needed for our first camping experience.
We will definitely be going back again if we need anything else.

Ordered at home ready next morning

Went in needing a couple of rugs for the horses. Julie was so helpful and engaging and let us take one rug out of the bag to gauge by eye the fit. It was nice to talk with someone knowledgeable on all things horse as she has her own. She is really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Great member of staff. Thanks very much.

We purchased Camping equipment including Tent etc. We were served by Rob who was excellent, he took the time to explain the various options available to us. Great customer service, we will be back and would recomnend your company to our friends.

I was served by Rob today who was so helpful advising where we could make a saving, Explaining the differences in different products and being very patient with my going away and coming back several times with new queries. Great customer service. Ended up we spent over £900. Great job Rob

After posting my review , customer services called me and my parcel was located at the store . The email hadn’t been sent to notify me my order was ready for collection . All sorted now . Thank you

Rob in the fishing section was very friendly and very helpful.
I've never been carp fishing before and he was more than happy to give time and advice,even drawing me a picture of a good rig set up.

While trying on fishing clothing, Bill showed brilliant knowledge of the products and took plenty of time to help us find the right fit and gear. He was patient, friendly, and very professional throughout. His advice was extremely helpful and made the whole experience enjoyable. Outstanding customer service — thank you, Bill!

I visited the store on the 2nd May looking for sandals, met a very affable and welcoming young man called Adam.

I have very exacting requirements: functional not fancy over designed models, Adam obliged by bringing me 2 styles of my choice and after having tried them on brought me my choice of the next size up.

So pleased with his facilitation I thanked him there and then, informing him I'd undertake a review in which I require a manager reinforce my thanks. The gentlemen next to him informed me he was a manager and thanked him there and then and agreed upon receipt of the review would repeat the thanks as requested.

We are a team, the customer and staff, all to often we are critical, seldom do we take time to really say Thank You Adam!! I wore the sandals out of the store . . .

Amy was very helpful and kind! We had a very enjoyable experience and found everything we needed for DofE.

Popped on today to get some fishing stuff ended up with two T-shirts as well and was served by Bella

I went in looking for a replacement for my Osprey Escapist 32 commuting bag that I’ve had since 2020 and is just starting to show its age. It’s a brilliant bag so a real tough act to replace.

Firstly there is a huge choice of bags to look at and try - sadly Osprey don’t make the Escapist any more so it was trial and error adding laptops and what I’d carry to the bags I thought might work - I kept coming back to the Tempest 33 which is a cavernous one main pocket bag as opposed to the two in the Escapist. I finally settled on the Tempest and here comes the Customer Service excellence offered by Alice and Chris. I had a Strava code for a 20% off on the Osprey website. We all know how tough retail is - so I asked if a deal could be done - it cost me more than online but good service needs to be rewarded.
