GO Outdoors - Taunton Avis 

Have really struggled to find walking boots to fit as have arthritis in feet.Was helped by Jonathan in Taunton store, very knowledgeable, understood the problem, knew the products well and talked to me about the ones that were worth a try and the reasons why. Found a perfect pair. Service was exemplary! I incidentally I had previously been to another specialist shop local to me that always had a good reputation, however customer service and knowledge of products here was not a patch on what was provided by Jonathan. Give him a pay rise!

Ordering straight forward, swift delivery. Plus one item must've been out of stock and was refunded immediately.

Still not had confirmation that my order is ready. I had to phone Customer Services, wait for ages listening to various options until finally getting to speak to someone. Apparently my order is ready and a text sent to my phone. No it was not.
Now have to make another trip to Taunton. Not impressed

Our first visit to go outdoors in Taunton and what a friendly bunch of staff work there from buying camping equipment ie tent and everything we are going to to need for our very first camping trip. This was made very easy thanks to Nathan H being honest and very informative
About all the equipment we are going to need fingers crossed we enjoy camping lol If this store has employee of the month he should certainly should get it because he deserves it

We arrived in store and quickly found out that they didn’t have what we wanted however that’s when I found Dan and Nathan H. I asked them if they had anything similar of which they showed me straight away. I was very fussy and didn’t like the first double chair they showed me. Then Dan suggested I take a look at the outwell double chair which I loved! They then advised me I could just my single discount from caravan and motorhome or do the deal of buy one get one half price. With their advice and help again I settled for one of the kitchen units but could only have the one on display which they then packed away and took to the till for me.
Both were so helpful and would highly recommend! Thanks guys for satisfying a very stubborn set in her ways woman!

Ordered two x pairs of waders for choice with Internet quick and simple returned to store one pair and refund sorted via store.

I was lucky to have Jonathan to myself when buying walking boots. That's the benefit of going in during the week when it's quiet. His knowledge was invaluable in making my choice of boots. He knows a lot, and this is the sort of knowledge you don't get from online shopping. Thank you!

Two lots of walking shoes today amongst other things. Jonathan in footware was dealing with multiple customers but super helpful to everyone.Great guy with good knowledge and really friendly. The lady on the till was also great.Iv been avoiding go outdoors for some time so really pleased to see they have some good staff again. I will be back .

Went in looking for hiking sandals and found Jonathan who was really helpful, he was very patient letting me try on every pair I was tempted by until I obviously went with the very first pair! At the checkout we were served by Rhys (I think) who was really lovely and made renewing our membership a swift and simple process.

I dropped in to take advantage of some offers. While I was there I tried on some approach shoes and although I didn’t get a pair (none available in my size) Jonathan was extremely helpful in suggesting alternatives.

I had to go on a DofE shopping spree and one of the workers here, SHOUTOUT Lin, helped us sort out our lengthy list. She was very helpful and polite. The DofE discount and members' prices were also very impressive. I recommend this store for any DofE needs!

He was friendly and pacent when helping me try a variety of outdoor shoes. Gave excellent advice and made a my experience a good one.

Popped to Go Outdoors for some fishing items for my son's birthday and to look at their selection of Weber BBQs. The deals and prices are very very competitive and we ended up buying far more than anticipated. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. We were served buy a friendly chap called Stuart, I believe he is the store manager. He even carried the heavy items to the car boot for us as he recognised we had a trolley full plus young kids with us.

Jonathan helped me find the perfect pair of walking boots today - he was knowledgeable and helpful.
