GO Outdoors - Torquay Avis 

Went to the Torquay store today 23/5/2026 for a pair of walking shoes, not sure what I really wanted,but Tyler was really helpful explained about different things and came away with a comfortable walking shoe,thank you Tyler👍

Well laid out store and very helpful staff.

Came in for a pair of shoes I reserved, holly and Ellison served me and were very helpful, great experience thankyou :)

Needed all the camping and walking equipment for my daughters D of E award. Asked for help immediately on arriving and Ellison was brilliant, he used the official D of E kit list, and was so knowledgeable and we got everything we needed with minimum fuss and the price of it all was very reasonable! Well done Torquay Go Outdoors 😁

Have used this store many times for outdoor equipment and clothing. Lewis who served me on the tills today was friendly and helpful, but all the staff are always helpful and nice. A good range on offer at the store and I always manage to buy what we need last minute (usually needing it the next day). Prices are just as good as Amazon, sometimes better and returns are easy.

I was looking for a gas regulator to fit my caravan’s gas bottle as the old one wouldn't fit my new 2 piece mobile unit, the 2 staff members Rick and Lewis were very helpful and found just what I wanted and also gave me advice on using gas bottles I left very impressed and I will definitely be coming back to the shop again as I’m a member now thank you

What can I say about Tyler's help and support today, its was fantastic and welcoming, Tyler was such a positive young man, I was looking for a bag for my daughter for a trip she is going on and I had no idea what to get but Tyler explained it all for me , hes a credit to go outdoors when a lot of others his age ain't bothered , keep up the good work Tyler

I was served by Ed & Laura in the footwear department and both were very helpful and pleasant to talk too 😊 Ed was knowledgeable and was able to make good suggestions/recommendations for the requirements I needed for my walking shoes and made process very easy in finding the right one. Many thanks and will highly recommend visiting the Torquay store 👍

Great customer service. Rick was very very helpful and knowledgeable with what walking boots to choose. The staff are always very friendly.

I needed to return an item to the Torquay store that didn’t fit. Asking Lewis on the till he was very helpful. When I explained that I wanted other items he kept my return to mark as an exchange against the new gear. Directed me to where I need to go and even asked another member of staff to come to help. All in all a very pleasant experienced from a shop and staff that know what they’re doing and understand the market.

On entering the store, received a friendly & pleasant greeting from the member of staff stood there & so nabbed him (hadn’t realised he was the Manager!)
I had a couple of queries (a return & buying camping gas) where he was very helpful.
I was served at the till by Lewis who again was very helpful, friendly and with a positive attitude. Loved his style!
So nice to leave the store smiling and impressed with the excellent customer service. 10/10!

They are really helpful and kind in go outdoors. Help us to find which bag was the best for what we were doing. And Tyler was really helpful
