We went to view a completely different tent to the one we bought because of the door. Glad they had both pitched. Checked stock the week after and signed up for the text message discount. Staff working 24/4/26 & 01/05/26 were more than helpfully. Great service.

Staff are helpful but not intrusive when you're looking around. Great knowledge and perfect customer service. Ade on the till was amazing.

Fast delivery. Great looking tent. Bargain price. Not used it yet but really looking forward to trying it on our next camping trip

We had a great experience today. We found everything we needed and a member of staff Ewan helped us tremendously by carrying a large package to the checkout for us. Abi Y helped us through the till and renewed our card for us. She gave us some very helpful advice. Once we had paid Ewan appeared and offered to carry our package to the car. We really are very grateful for this level of service. Thank you, Go Outdoors, and particularly Ewan and Abi.

The store was amazingly tidy with all items clearly priced. Staff were helpful to guide me regarding gortex clothing ready for my next adventure. Sabrina on checkout was very polite and efficient when renewing my membership card etc.

Went to look for climbing shoes and sunglasses. Young woman informed me the store doesn’t any longer sell climbing equipment but told me what stores do which was helpful. I then spoke to Ryan who came off a till to help me look at Oakley’s sunglasses, Ryan was patient and asked a manager if I could try them outside in the sun. He also let me try his glasses which were polarised so I could compare the difference. I’d found the same pair on line so Ryan price matched +10%. Overall had a good experience in store found the staff cheerful and helpful. 👌🏻 great store, Leisure lakes bikes are a good addition

Needed specialist advice re some hiking boots and sizing. Excellent service by both Sabrina and Denton. Even helped me with a price match. Very happy.

Good service, friendly staff

After discovering yesterday that my membership card was apparently not linked to my online account, (even though I have used it online before 🤷‍♀️) I made various frustrating and fruitless attempts to contact Customer Care at GoOutdoors to get this rectified. I wanted to make a purchase and take advantage of the online discount being offered on walking boots, so I decided to phone and see if my local branch could help at all instead.
The staff at Wolverhampton were amazing. Ann-Marie answered the phone and was friendly and helpful from the get-go. She understood my issue straight away and although she said they weren't able to link my card in store, she checked their stock, put the boots aside for me to collect later in the day, and also spoke with the manager, who authorised the discount that I was unable to access online!

My very inquisitive 7 year old and I visited the store on Saturday. The staff were exceptionally helpful, in particular the colleague who guided us to the swimming section and Jashan and Abi Y on the tills who had a lovely chat with my daughter. Really excellent service. Thank you!

I made a mistake when buying a flogas propane cylinder and discovered a few weeks later that my regulator would not fit, it was "screw on" rather than "clip on" I only discovered this after breaking the seal which made matters a bit more complicated.

I returned to Go Outdoors to explain the problem and see if it was possible to exchange the bottle. As the seal was broken this wasn't straightforward as there was nothing to indicate whether any gas had been used making it difficult to sell the returned bottle to a new customer.

I fully understood the problem and was very happy that the store manager found a solution by weighing the bottle and comparing it to other new ones. Once he was satisfied that no gas had been used, he authorised an exchange which I was extremely grateful for.

All the staff were very helpful and understanding doing all that they could to assist me, in particular John and Abiy..
