Groves Nurseries is a family business based in West Dorset. We in fact have a couple of nurseries, our main nursery and garden centre is in Bridport but we also have a small (but perfectly formed) plant nursery in Beaminster called Little Groves. We have been around since 1866 so we know a thing or two about gardening!

Ordered a number of violets from Groves Nurseries
My order was processed and delivered promptly. The plants were well packaged so they arrived in optimum condition. The information leaflet about plant care was very useful. I will definitely use Groves Nurseries again in the future.

I recently received a gift of a climbing rose from Groves Nurseries, it arrived well packaged and in beautiful condition. Also ordered a gift voucher as a present, this was both easy and quick to do.

Excellent Potato planter tool.
Ordered the potato planter tool for my mums birthday, she absolutely loves it and says it’s the best she has tried for planting potatoes. Also from ordering to delivery was within 24 hours. Excellent product and service.

Recycling
The plants came in good time , well packaged using straw which is fantastic as I can recycle and use on my strawberries plus the plants looked very healthy. Thank you

accepted on line and paid for.

Good morning Bridget, thank you for leaving us a review - you're right, 5 days a long time between order and letting you know we couldn't deliver this item, I'm sorry your experience fell below our usual customer service standards.
When it came to packing the item for despatch we were concerned it might get damaged in transit due to the weight; we've amended this item on the website so it's now only available for delivery in the immediate local area via our Groves van.

There was a mistake at the beginning (wrong boots sent) however it was handled very well and professionally.
