As a relatively new RFD, Guntrader and its software is invaluable, it’s easy to use, stops anything being forgotten and keeps me compliant.
They are supportive, helpful and easy to deal with. And for the extra bit of money over a manual or excel system worth every penny

No luck this time
Unfortunately I have had only two enquiries and I believe they were both from BOTS asking the same questions. When trying to contact the enquirers by phone the numbers given were not correct.

There has still been no postcode lookup added to the site as of 16/03/26 and this feature went down weeks ago.

Thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry the lack of a location search feature caused frustration. The postcode lookup was previously provided by a third-party service which stopped working without notice, so the issue was temporary while we worked on a solution. As soon as we identified the correct way to resolve it, we implemented the postcode lookup back onto the website. Generally the Site is ok too use ,just little disappointed u can not list your rifle once until rifle sold like Shootmart which is very cheap too list as much too list until sold as apposed too only 1month on guntrader for same price

Platform unreliable and unstable
Cyber attack on the platform meant that my replies to enquiries went un delivered.
I had dozens of enquiries but frustratingly, I couldn't communicate with potential buyers.
Frequent technical outages meant that it was sometimes difficult to view or ammend ads.
Disappointing.

I do need to clarify that we have not experienced any cyber attack on the platform. We also haven’t recorded any widespread outages that would have prevented messages from being delivered. It’s possible this may have been related to a local connectivity or network provider issue, and we’d really like to help investigate this properly for you.

Guntrader provides the platform to connect buyers and sellers, but we cannot guarantee the sale or interest of an item. Many listings are successful and sell very quickly.
