If I could give it a 0 I would have. I bought a water kettle from them and the auto shut off malfunctioned and my one kitchen cabinet is ruined. Contacted them and they wanted me to keep the item which I could not afford to do since I needed a new kettle. We use it every day. I reached out to them on Amazon with no reply and it took forever to reach them by email. They won’t do anything without the serial number but unfortunately I wasn’t told this in the beginning. Now it’s too late. I had the scan bar from the box but that’s not good enough. I will NEVER purchase another product from them. Poor quality and customer service!!!

I never thought that purchasing from Hamilton Beach would be such a huge mistake

Yesterday I received a Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap Duo Food Processor which I had ordered via the Hamilton Beach website. When I tried to use it, the machine would not turn on. After a few minutes, I noticed that the cord had been partially severed. Furthermore it appeared that this particular machine had been returned to HB by another customer because of the fact that the cord was not in it's retracted, unused position. Also, there's a small piece of broken black plastic and I do not know what part it goes to.
It seems that Hamilton Beach customer service is pretty much non-existent. When I called their phone number, I got a recording telling me to chat online. On one chatline, after stating my problem, a page appeared telling me I could pay $5 for the opportunity to speak with a technician. I received a very defective product, so why do I have to pay $5 to speak with a tech? I used another page to send a message to hamilton beach explaining my problem. I received a canned response that they will review and get back to me, and please allow up to 2 weeks.
If this product was not damaged and unusable (because of the severed electrical cord), it would be exactly what I had been looking for, but at this point, I would not trust anything Hamilton Beach might say or do.

am extremely disappointed with Hamilton…

am extremely disappointed with Hamilton Beach’s customer service and lack of accountability regarding their warranty policy. My coffee maker, which is still under their five-year warranty, started leaking. I promptly submitted all the required information for my warranty claim, only to be met with complete silence.

Hamilton Beach has made it incredibly difficult to get in touch with them. I’ve followed their process and submitted everything they asked for, yet I haven’t received any response or even a timeline as to when they will address my issue. It feels like they are deliberately ignoring valid claims, which is unacceptable for a company of this size.

It’s frustrating that a brand I trusted for quality would not honour their own warranty. A warranty means nothing if the company refuses to uphold it. If Hamilton Beach can’t stand behind their products or even respond to their customers, I will never purchase from them again, and I’ll encourage others to do the same.

I bought a Hamilton Beach microwave

I bought a Hamilton Beach microwave; less than 3 years and magnatron is shot… Never used much -or for a long stretch at a time: simple reheat..or quick defrosts… not made in Canada and Hamilton Beach is not sold by them… 🤔 ..a licensed product but not handled by them, according to Customer Support message I recently received on Dec23/24

I purchased a Slow Cooker in October…

I recently purchased a 7 QUART Programable Slow Cooker in October 2024. I used it once; I really wasn't sure it was working correctly at that time. I used it again on Thanksgiving and it didn't heat at all. I contacted Hamilton Beach Customer service in hopes of a replacement.

Customer Service offered me a Limited Warranty replacement value, which was significantly less than what I paid for the model I purchased. Customer Service said that I would still have to pay shipping and tax on top of my losses.

Thank you for your message.

I’m very uncomfortable purchasing another Hamilton Beach product. It doesn’t feel like the company is standing by their products. By offering a replacement that has not been owned for even 2 months a Limited Replacement value that doesn’t work, I feel like I’m being taken advantage of as a consumer.

I guess at this point I will take a check for the Limited Replacement value and find a slow cooker by a different maker. If you want the slow cooker returned to you, I’ll do that at your cost.

I’m very disappointed with Hamilton Beach’s response to this issue. I’ll make sure and voice my opinion via a Review of the product and this response.

I look forward to hearing from you as to your resolution and how to proceed with returning the item.

Poorly made stuff

I should've looked at more reviews before buying a toaster oven from them because someone else had the exact same damaged spot on the door of theirs. I've been waiting for a reply via email but unfortunately I can't wait weeks with a broken brand new appliance taking room in my apartment while they wait to see if they can get away with understaffing their customer service.

I purchased a coffee grinder, still under warranty and the plastic chipped off. Yes the part is under warranty but they want me to pay shipping of 4.99 to send the top part plastic to me. This is bad policy when I can get a new one for 13.99. Don’t buy Hamilton beach products

Poorly manufactured replacement parts not honored under their warranty

I ordered from the Hamilton Beach web site additional espresso maker parts that did not work. As they arrived after I had left for a 3 month trip, I was told when I arrived home and found that they would not honor a warranty on a their own product bought off their own website. I will not buy any Hamilton Beach product again, as you cannot even get guaranteed parts from them.

Hamilton Beach kettle warranty requires payment of shipping charges almost equivalent to purchase price.

A Hamilton Beach kettle I bought in July 2023 for $32 + tax, stopped working completely in September 2024. As it was over 1 year from purchase, the manufacturer's 5 warranty was applied for. After sending all the necessary details to them, they replied that they would replace it for shipping costs of $29.98, almost the same value as the purchase price. Duh. How does that make sense? I'll just go buy another kettle and it won't be Hamilton Beach.

Good service

Recently had reason to speak to customer service, not something I'm good at, the lady I spoke with was patient,polite and more than willing to help and advice,I would have no hesitation in buying goods from Hamilton Beech in the future,as of now I will probably buy direct rather than buying through a third party, more than satisfactory outcome

If I could have given a zero

If I could have given a zero, I would have. Purchased a personal blender and e-mailed customer service due to a problem with it. Took over a week for a response and did not receive any resolution from them. Will never purchase another Hamiton Beach product.

Toaster broke in 9 months

Toaster broke in 9 months. Refused to replace and warranty procedure is extremely painfull. Prepare to wait weeks for a replacement because they dont reply to an email for 4 days so the back and forth is maddening. worst company EVER!!! STAY AWAY!!!

OID89 - Crappy Service by HB

I bought a HB Blender on 22/08/2024, from the HB website, today it’s 26/08/2024 & the item, which was paid for in advance, still hasn’t been dispatched. The warehouse is in Mumbai & so is the delivery address yet there’s no sign of the item being delivered!! Customer service is absolutely useless. Never again HB!! I certainly won’t be recommending them either! OID89

I ordered a two in one coffee machine(k cup and percolator). Used it for one month. The k cup side broke. Sent emails back and forth they finally said they would send a new one as it had warranty. Waited for over a month. Nothing came. Contacted again they stated that it was shipped but got sent back because there was no one to give a signature. I contacted them again and told them I didn’t receive any phone call, email, or no delivery person showed. They agreed to ship it out again but I had to pay the shipping costs of 20.00. I said no and that I would not pay that and I will just keep my junk broken product. Do not buy from Hamilton beach. They are rip offs and the products are junk.

If there was a zero start I would have check it. I bought a food chopper and the lip broke, talk to Kenneth who told me that it was under warranty and that they would replace it BUT I would have to pay $19.95 in shipping fees for an article that sell for $22.95. This is ridiculous it is a rip off. I ask for a replacement lid and the answer was they are not available. Now I have to throw away the article which will contribute to increase the garbage fill land. DO NOT BUY HAMILTON BEACH.

Purchased a Hamilton Beach product…

Purchased a Hamilton Beach product through Amazon. It was an electric can opener. After 7 months, the lever to push down the Can opener snapped off and in order to get a new one replaced they want to charge the shipping which is ridiculous at $30 and they will not let me pick one up anywhere. I don't understand why you have to pay for shipping for something that is under warranty? If the product fails, it should not be another charge for the customer to get what they should have gotten in the first place, a product that stands up to the warranty and works

Terrible customer experience, shoddy product

I ordered a coffee maker on line. It arrived with the water tank broken into pieces and also cracked on the bottom. When I asked about returning it someone named "Zane" said they would have to "evaluate" the damage, and if they didn't think it was damaged enough I would have to pay for sipping it back. No offer to replace or refund. Worst customer experience.

Never buy Hamilton products again

I purchased Hamilton toaster with 5 years warranty. After 15 months was defected (no automatic closing) which can lead to fire. I called the company and the agent suggested one of impossible options: they send new one but they I have to pay the shipping which costs about have of the toaster valve OR I have to go to a service centre which is the closest one 400 km
I suggest to refund the money or send gift card and I buy the same type from the store. They refused and hanged up the line in politely…. Very rude customer service.
