Food processor parts are cheap. One blade broke after very little use and the bowl split. The company's communications regarding replacement parts is terrible and there service levels are awful.

HORRIBLE SERVICE AT HAMILTON BEACH
Purchased a blade online, check the shipping price which looked to be only a few dollars more. 8.92 with 2.50 shipping. Ordered and got the invoice. the blade was 8.92 BUT THE SHIPPING WAS $10!!! OMG Ten dollars shipping for an eighth dollar blade. I could have walked to the store and just bought another chopper. or two for that price. I contacted them IMMEDIATELY and, of course, the next day, got an email saying "OH SORRY It's in the warehouse. BULL. Never another Hamilton Beach Anything EVER. And every one I know will hear my complete dissatisfaction. Im retired and live on 900 a month.. I CAN NOT AFFORD A 10 DOLLAR CHARGE FOR AN 8 DOLLAR BLADE.
Very disappointed in the customer…
Very disappointed in the customer service. We bought a coffee pot and within a few months it started leaking water. I sent an email and they said someone would get back to me. But we have heard nothing from them. I thought if they did reply we would go and buy another one and give the brand one more chance but I have heard nothing. So going to go get a different brand next time.
Warranty Srvice not honored
Run as fast as you can from this company. STAY AWAY. I received a Hamilton Beach toaster oven as a gift in December 2021. The bottom heating element worked sporadically for the first 2 months and then stopped working totally. I contacted customer service in August 2022 via email, they have no phone customer service. They tell me it's not covered under the 1 year warranty because they have to go by the date in was produced as stated by the serial number. I was a long time loyal customer. Never again......
Shipped the wrong item- Refused to help!!
Purchased an Egg Cooker from Best Buy. The had it shipped directly from HAMILTON BEACH’S warehouse. It finally shipped after 3 days. On arrival by UPS we saw the box was covered with pictures of a DEEP FRYER and the words HAMILTON BEACH DEEP FRYER???
We opened the packing slip to read the HB document that stated EGG COOKER - AND ITS SKU NUMBER. Nothing about a DEEP FRYER. When we reached Best Buy they were NO help. We then called Hamilton Beach only to find a recording and NO ONE TALKING TO CUSTOMERS!! The recording to send your complaints to an email address??? We did so and they refused to help stating we had to deal with Best Buy - it was their problem. Keep in mind that someone in their warehouse sent the wrong item even though the order, and their own packing slip stated what to send. That in addition to pictures ALL OVER THE BOX of the wrong item!

Very disappointing customer service
The products are great but the customer service and return process is sorely disappointing. I would buy their products at other resellers for a better experience. There's no digital way to cancel your order or process a return. They make you call or email them. First try they wouldn't resolve an issue that was due to a glitch in their system and then wouldn't cancel my order. Second try they didn't even respond to my email. Trying again just to process a return but I'm not hopeful. Definitely not buying on their site again. Better off just buying from a distributor.
An example of great customer service.
We purchased the Hamilton Beach steamer. After several uses the handle broke on the lid. I contacted customer service. They would have replaced the broken lid if it was in stock, but it was on back order. Instead they replace the entire steamer with a new one. That’s great customer service that went above and beyond.

Just bought the Hamilton Beach FlexBrew coffee maker model: 49976 last week, and I am super happy with my purchase. It brews quiet, fast, great tasting coffee through the three (3) methods of brewing carafe, individual single serve k-cup, or fresh ground single serve. "Hats off" to Hamilton Beach for a great product and keep up the great work.
Frustrated customer
Hamilton Beach is not honoring their own policy about products bring under 1 year warranty.
They have given me the run around about refunding my money for a faulty coffee maker.
DON'T BUY from them they don't even have a customer service line where you can talk to someone.

Exemplary Customer Service Experience
I wanted to express my thanks for the wonderful, timely Hamilton Beach (HB) customer support I received recently concerning a cracked blender jar.
The initial customer support email I submitted received the standard 5-10 day reply notice email, but I received a reply in just one day from Katrina, the customer support representative (CSR), requesting more information about the damages to the blender jar.
I provided the requested details along with pictures in the reply email.
I promptly received a reply from the CSR explaining that my item was still covered under manufacturer's warranty; another blender jar would be shipped out to me, at their expense; and I should receive it within 15 days.
I received it in 5 days!
This is by far one of the best customer service experiences I have had thus far and most especially during these post-pandemic times!
Hamilton Beach Customer Service (HBCS) places high value on creating a wonderful customer service experience for its customers just like the one I experienced firsthand!
The CSR truly exemplified that through her professional, efficient, attentive communication and handling throughout our email correspondence.
Katrina's actions credit HB's supervision, at the lower and upper management levels, most especially HB's CS training department.
Again, thank you and you've made me a repeat customer!
Horrible Coffee Maker
If I could give negative stars I would. We had 2 Flex Brew coffee makers and both did the same thing within 3 months. If you were trying to make a single KCup of coffee the water started pouring into the water well that you would use to make a pot of coffee. Completely unacceptable and the customer service is by far the most in adequate I've ever dealt with. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING MADE BY HAMILTON BEACH AGAIN. I will make sure to tell everyone I know to do the same. Not worth the money, aggravation or time.
Hamilton Beach Professional Quiet Shield Blender
I reached out to Hamilton Beach via phone and was directed to their email. I sent an email requesting my blender jar be replaced under the 5 year warranty because the plastic cracked. I received a response within 24 hours. The process was exceptionally easy and my new blender jar is on the way. I have had an excellent experience with the Hamilton Beach Professional Quiet Shield Blender, 1500W. I highly recommend this company and product.

Ordered a cup and brush from the Hamilton Beach website as accessories for my new juicer. I purchased the juicer from Amazon. I received a disgusting nasty juicer brush with dried up particles all over it. This the utmost horrible service. I will NOT be purchasing any other products from this company. This is ludicrous!!
Why I will no longer buy Hamilton Beach products
My former Hamilton Beach espresso maker lasted 12 years and, when it was time to renew, I was happy to buy another Hamilton Beach product. This time, the Hamilton Beach Espresso and Cappucino Maker (40792). This one lasted about three months before it started malfunctioning. As I bought the product in good faith, I expected a replacement of my defective product or my money back. Hamilton Beach replied as follows:

As the model 40792 has been marked to be discontinued, the unit will not be returning to stock and is marked as out of stock in the warehouse inventory. Since, this unit is no longer available, we ask that you please visit our website and select another model of equal or lesser value ($219.99) that will suit your needs. Once you have decided on a model, please reply by email with the model number. Some limitation and restrictions may apply. Shipping and handling is not covered under the limited warranty, as stated in the use and care guide.

When I looked at the website, there were no comparable espresso makers and no products that I wanted in replacement for the defective Hamilton Beach product. I mentioned this to their customer service representative, but she simply referred me to the terms of the warranty -in fact, she just cut and pasted the same text and sent it again.
I didn't know there were companies that still did business like this - hiding behind terms and conditions to cheat their customers out of money they paid in good faith to buy a product with.
So, i'm absorbing the loss and there will be no more Hamilton Beach products for me! If you want to buy a kitchen product that is well manufactured and which will be replaced in full or the money you paid refunded, do not buy Hamilton Beach. They are not the company they used to be.

I left a horrible review and now I have to fix it since I can’t retract it. I was annoyed that the automated reply to my email was… we’ll reply in 7-15 days, and you couldn’t call to talk to anyone. Well…. They replied to the email the same day, and I just received a replacement coffee maker in about 2.5 weeks because the carafe broke. I just gavel them the serial #… didn’t even have the bill or box anymore. They just… replaced it. I’m very impressed and I have to change my review to excellent customer service. If you buy a product.. you're on your own. I found a 1-800 #, but it tells you to send an email, so you can't speak to anyone. I sent an email.. high volume so 5-7 days before a reply will be sent. I loved the coffee maker, and the carafe broke. We've had it for 2-3 months. Filling it up in the sink and tapped it on the side of the sink, piece of glass broke off the bottom. Not impressed. I just wanted to know if I can buy a replacement, but I need something to make coffee in, so guess I will have to buy something else. Tried everywhere else 1st with no luck, but with their non existent customer service, I don't see the point in waiting for an answer. Time try another brand.
