​My mother's appointment felt more like an interrogation than a professional consultation. Communication from the solicitor handling the file, Iftekhar, was extremely poor, to the point where no direct contact details were ever provided to reach him. When he arrived for the meeting, he was dressed completely unprofessionally in casual gym wear.
​Julie on reception is lovely and does her best, but her role is limited. At least she answers the phone and tries to pass on messages.
​My mother was promised a fully detailed, tailored draft Will. When the draft finally arrived, it looked like a generic off-the-shelf template, completely ignoring everything stated during her private consultation.
​After 14 to 15 days of total silence and endless chasing, the handling solicitor only got in touch after feedback was left—not to address the service failures or update the Will, but to threaten legal action over honest public feedback. We took time off work and wasted valuable time believing we were hiring a professional firm. Stay clear.

Ismail was very efficient and helpful throughout.

This firm nearly cost me the deal of a lifetime due to what I experienced as laziness and incompetence.

I was recommended Hannah Solicitors by my mortgage broker to act on the purchase of a leasehold house property. Unfortunately, the solicitor handling my case, Louise Burgess, failed throughout the process to carry out what should have been a basic Land Registry check to locate the registered lease. This oversight delayed the transaction by approximately four weeks.

Communication was also extremely poor. Louise was very difficult to contact, and I dealt with her assistant for the majority of the time. On the two occasions I did speak with Louise, I found her dismissive and felt she lacked the initiative and determination to resolve the issue. Rather than finding a solution, she strongly advised me not to proceed with the purchase because the lease could not be located and because the seller's solicitor had mistakenly provided an AI-generated lease document that conflicted with the actual records.

At that point, I was devastated. After deciding to instruct a different local solicitor, the issue was resolved within five minutes. They located the supposedly "missing" lease on the Land Registry, explained the situation regarding the erroneous AI generated lease to the insurers, and confirmed that it should simply be disregarded. With the genuine 999-year lease identified, the transaction was able to proceed.

Had I not sought out a second conveyancer, I would have lost the opportunity to purchase a £220,000 property for £140,000.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Louise Burgess, Sohib (who also worked on my case), and Hannah Solicitors as a whole. In my experience, a straightforward issue was allowed to jeopardise the entire transaction through a lack of diligence, poor communication, and an unwillingness to explore a solution. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this firm.

We were helped a lot through out our Morgage process; however, you would need to chase things yourself so that you can get contract exchanged in time.

Everyone always told us solicitors take ages, they are a nightmare etc etc. Well Hannah’s Solicitors broke that stereotype. They were absolutely fantastic - from start to finish.
