Due to an unexpected family problem I tried to move my holiday on a week or 2 to give us a chance sort everything out.

Due to not having cancellation cover was told will Loose all I paid which was £129 for an accessable friendly van in Rockley Park for May so 3 weeks away.

I have never had to change anythign over decades of coming to Haven and sent a letter with my concerns to the CEO as I feel this is awful keep your money then re sell discusting.

Away resorts here I come

2 hours waiting on the phone being told how everything is fantastic and how they are excited about me arriving. Telling us all how wonderful everything is. Self inflated ego's and full of themselves.... Utter trash

Haven refusing refund for disabled customer with medical evidence

Avoid Haven if you have a disability. I have permanent neurological damage and a Blue Badge. Despite providing medical evidence. Haven is refusing a refund for booking ref (15626911). They are ignoring their legal duties under the Equality Act 2010 to hide behind 'Flexi Plan' terms. A formal Legal Letter Before Action has been served. Shameful behavior.

MAJOR HYGIENE FAILURE & APPALLING MANAGEMENT RESPONSE

We booked Craig Tara, Scotland in March and i am writing this as a serious warning to anyone considering a stay here. We were forced to abandon our family holiday after just one night because our caravan suffered a catastrophic drain failure, with sewage backing up into the unit. This was a significant public health hazard that made the accommodation completely uninhabitable.
What was even more distressing was the service. I had to make numerous calls and practically chase management just to get the issue acknowledged. Since returning home, I have tried to contact the Experience Manager, Jen Carrick, to discuss the appalling service we received, but my emails have been completely ignored.
While the booking has finally been refunded, the lack of professional care and the silence from management regarding such a serious failure is unacceptable. A refund is the bare minimum for a health hazard, but it doesn’t fix the fact that our holiday was ruined and our concerns are being ignored. Think twice before booking here if you expect a safe environment or professional customer service.

Overpowering bleach smell in caravan.

Booked a four day break in one of Havens north wales sites. This is day one and I can’t wait for day four to arrive so I can leave. They had no availability for a better caravan so we had no option but to book a bronze. Now we’ve had a bronze before and it was fine. This one isn’t.

The strong stink of bleach hit us as soon as we opened the door. It was overpowering. My husband recently had a lung removed and has just finished chemo. He has one lung and the strong smell is affecting his breathing . I reported it immediately to reception and they said ‘we don’t use bleach’ well whatever they do use smells exactly like bleach! She was adamant that they don’t use bleach … we disagree.

They are absolutely full to bursting this week so there are no other vans available, not one, so we have no option but to stick this out (if it was just me and my husband we would’ve gone home but we are here with other family members who luckily managed to book a gold caravan which is lovely) We have been in the van a few hours now and I can pick up a smell from the sink, a bad drains smell, smells like old dead flowers on a grave. I suspect they’ve used the bleach to try mask the drain smell. I will be going back to reception in the morning to see if they have any new availability so we can be moved out of this horrible van. I’m not holding my breath. Well I am actually because of the smell, but you know what I mean. I don’t know what else to do to try to rectify things but I will certainly not be booking a Haven Bronze van again .. I’d rather not go away. This isn’t fun.

I’m over this break - would have left yesterday if it wasn’t for my daughter

I think we create our Own luck - not sure what I’ve done to the universe but I’m sorry in advance.

Worst stay I’ve had I came away with my daughter & my little dog I should never have got a saver caravan! £160 for the weekend bargain! Or is it?

- shower didn’t work! Made a lovely dribble for around 20 seconds then completely stopped - made a right mess of the floor rinsing my hair in the sink- Duh!
- The toaster tripped the electric at 11pm second night fused box Located bit you tell me why all the switches are up not down many attempts later I’m using my phone flash light till the morning! Maybe i didn’t get the memo the light go out at 11 (caravan savers rule)
- No internet signal (not haven problem) but who the F do I call?
- Mum stressed!
- Daughter stressed
- Dog stressed 😂

Life issues having maintenance on your home for whatever reason but not on my bloody mini break I come away to forget about problems a change to spend quality time with the people we love.

I have now spent more time in reception than ever on a break - arranging visits & to top it off not being able to carry on with my holiday plans because I have a pet and therefore all repair visits mean I have to ensure I’m available when they arrive if the dog is here solo - It’s like waiting for 8-5pm window due to no time slot given OMG!

We stayed at Perran Sands 10/10

We stayed at Perran Sands from 29th March to 3rd April and honestly had the best family holiday we have ever had. 10/10 across the board.

The caravan was fantastic and our kids made friends with the family next door - they now speak almost daily on the phone and have plans to meet up again. That says everything about the kind of environment Haven creates.

The swimming pool, park and activities were brilliant, and the atmosphere around the site was wonderful. The kids thrived and made so many new friends throughout the week.

The evening entertainment was exceptional. My daughter is passionate about dance and performing and she was blown away by the live shows, particularly the 9pm performances. The singers and dancers work incredibly hard and are so talented - a huge shout out to all of them. James was also a firm favourite with my kids and you could see how much effort and passion he puts into his role every single night.

The staff throughout the park were always helpful and incredibly friendly. We will be coming back every year without fail. Thank you for helping us create such wonderful memories. Keep up the amazing work!

CARVAN
We booked a short break friday-monday in a saver caravan so we new it would be just standard, but we didn't need anything else with only staying a short amount of time. when we arrived there was no high chair what we paid for so we went to reseption and asked for it and got told it would be there within the hour they will use to master key and leave it in the caravan ready for us coming back after going out for the afternoon. We arrived back on the Friday evening and still no hight chair, at this point it was 5.30pm so we went again on the Saturday morning and explained the situation again still no highchair. by this point we throught what is the point when we were out for lunch on the Sunday and we are leaving on the monday. The actual caravan was small and basic but the floor was absolutely covered in mud and dirt,lucky I brought my own antibacterial as my 1 year old was playing on the floor, so mopping the floor was not how I was planning the start of our holiday. We then opened the cupboard doors to find half a loaf of bread of the previous guest,so again it clearly hasn't been checked over or given a good clean on that matter.On the Friday night then hole caravan was absolutely Baltic, we woke up to find the milk in the fridge was frozen solid, we contacted reseption and someone came out to put a new gas bottle on and fit the boiler but again we got back to the Van at 10 pm and it was again absolutely freezing and it went off, again so we rang up and this time no one arrived,lucky there was spare blankets as we were frozen to the bone. The door in the main bedroom was all cracked and curtains hanging off.

the pool it's self was nice and big and over all clean the only down fall there is not enough baby changing facilities,as you can imagine trying to undress a baby out of a swimsuit and drying them on your knee is hard work especially when they are wiggling all over, it was either that are braking your back by having him on the seat on the cubical again not the best when they wiggle all over.

CHOPSTIX
AVOID with all cost me and my partner shared a box and was absolutely ill with sickness and diarrhea totally ruined the last day/night of our holiday especially traveling back home and having to stop the car every 10 minutes to be sick!

LIVE LOUNGE
Brilliant entertainment, load to do for the little ones and for us adults, only down fall is the amount off chairs and tables rammed together, there is just no room to even move once your in your seat your literally on top of the person behind you, especially when you have a high chair,all I felt like I was doing all night was apologising to folk because they couldn't get past but what else could we do.

I tried online for 3 days to book kiln park Tenby and the web site wasn’t working properly, I phoned am and a man said yes there’s touring spaces £31 p/n so £93 but I should try later online as he would add £20 charge , I tried later no luck, so phoned back explaining my experience and the man said he would do it manually and wave £20 so I thought great, than for exactly same touring pitch I was quoted £200 I said I have my own motorhome and only booking a pitch, he said yes it’s £200 I was flabbergasted and said no 💰💰💰😳😳😳🚐🚐

Very oversubscribed amenities

Very oversubscribed amenities! Can't get any food. Caravan okay, but microwave was not cleaned (covered in what looked like tomato soup).

Sorry Haven, but very poor show and unpleasant experience for easter weekend 2026. Never again!

Did not entertainment my request told me I could not move holiday.
Due to not having cancellation cover would loose hol. This is the second time this year I have been in this situation. I lost a hol to reighton sands in March I have another booked at Berwick in May
No flexibility leaves a sour taste re Haven

They didnt give us the caravan key so we had to stay in until they did staff were miserable my husband has got incurable cancer and had to come back 5 days early cant do any refund shame on you all and the holiday home had a vile smell to it

The caravan was disgusting, mish mash of furniture , holes in the cushions, rusty cooker , pubic hair on the toilet that hadn't been cleaned properly, orange peel in-between cushions the list is endless ! Yes complained they sent a young lad to wipe the toilet !,

We have booked four holidays a year for 20 years, We have absolutely loved it we are going to our last ever visit in Wales with haven!! They have ruined the whole place not only are they charging extra to park your car like what the actual.... they have linked bingo with 37 other sites. As parents everything we do is for our little one's its now extortionate to do anything but the one thing we do for ourselves has now been ruined, seeing people in the actual entertainment winning infront of you and winning yourself which we've done loads of times over the years has now become no one winning it felt really comfortable there was something about it if you have been and played you know what i mean and everyone paying £20 per play it was £10 then £12 now £20 are you joking me, its a vibe they had and now they have lost it. Enything you want to do or the kids want to do will cost you a small fortune. Don't tell me it's everything has gone up so we need to up it aswel since when does hiring a bike for one hour cost you a full day's work thank you hevan for all the good times. This is negative because we would of been going for at least another 10-15 years with our new smaller ones but now we are going to spend £400 more for an all inclusive holiday abroad, I'm not kidding you that's how much more we will pay unbelievable.

Wish I had read these reviews before booking, customer service don't wan to help you, whole system is designed to squeeze some extra money from you, booked 4 caravans and just wanted same check in time, instead told sorry no can do. Back to Parkdean next time not perfect but better.

Denied Accommodation on Arrival – Forced to Pay for Hotel

Haven took our money, then on arrival at Craig Tara our caravan was effectively inaccessible because the entrance was flooded. No meaningful help was offered, no alternative accommodation was available, and after a 200-mile drive we had to leave and pay for a hotel ourselves. Customer service’s response was to “report it to maintenance,” which tells you everything about how seriously they take guests being unable to use the accommodation they’ve paid for. A token refund for one night is not a resolution. This was a complete service failure.

Don’t bother booking

Arrive at orchards clacton on Saturday for 7 nights, it’s now Monday and we have decided to go home tomorrow.
On arrival we were make aware that there is no useable water. We were given a 2 litre bottle of water for 3 people for 7 days and told if we wanted more we would have to boil water from the tap and use that.
After seeing rats around the park we were told by one of the owners that there is no water due to the water tank being clogged with dead rats.
Disposable Plastic beakers for drinks as apparently they can’t wash the glasses (guess they couldn’t boil the water themselves). No ice so warm drinks, on the first day I was told they had run out of coke but by evening they had bought some from the onsite supermarket.
Arcade is absolutely rubbish and constantly faulty.
Staff rude and kept getting orders wrong.
I have spent hundreds on booking the holiday and spending money over 2 days ( everything is ridiculously overpriced).
I honestly can’t wait to get home and I will NEVER book a haven holiday again.
