Herschel Infrared Ltd Avis 

This is the 3rd panel heater I’ve purchased.
Two for my hair salon, we love them and have been nice and toasty! They look sleek and professional.
I like that they run from the same thermostat and I like that they warm the objects in the room rather than the air. It feels like a much healthier heat.
The delivery was quick and on time.

Product is not suitable for the Irish grid. I invested €10k in 2022 to move my heating to IR panels and have spent nearly the same again because of ongoing issues with the product. To be fair, Herschel UK have never challenged sending out replacement panels when they have failed but I have had to stump up the cost of electricians to replace the panels each time. The same when Herscel sent me a different model, these had to be re-wired to the fuse board. All in all, this has been a costly and very frustrating experience and I am now resigned to replacing this product with an alternative as and when they fail.
It doesn't help that Herschel partnered with a company in Ireland called SolarSmart who initially installed the panels and completely destoryed my ceilings. As a result of their shoddy workmanship I have had panels fall to the floor, my ceilings will have to be replaced when I take panels down because the holes and cracked plaster.
This is not the fault of Herschel but another aspect to a very negative experience. Avoid SolarSmart at all costs for anything inside your home

2nd heated mirror we’ve ordered.

Disappointed that the image and description of the mirror heating panel did not show the mirror has a blue tint because this is very dark. Silver mirror would be less obtrusive. Otherwise excellent and delivered promptly.

Delivery of our infrared heater was extremely efficient and the packaging for the product was great eg there was no risk of the heater being damaged in transit. The product is made from quality materials which you can see and feel when assembling it. Would I order from Herschel again? Yes I would.

I’ve already got a few IR heaters in the house and love them. Got an outside one to go in my workshop which is amazing for keeping me warm when I’m using my machines and can’t wear long sleeves for safety

Good quality product delivered on time and heats the area perfectly

My initial contact with Herschel by phone was very informative and helpful. I purchased my portable 500w infra red heater through the website and was very impressed with the speed of delivery and robust packaging. I am very happy with the heater but due to the continuing warm weather I have not yet had the opportunity to use it very often. I am sure it will be very useful during the winter as a top up heating source in the evenings when my storage heaters lose their heat.

This is the second purchase I have made, the first worked very well, I have high hopes this will be the same.
Hopefully a lot more purchases to come.

Great product, delivered very rapidly.

Staff friendly and helpful. Order arrived on time. Easy to put up with the help of a qualified electrician. The best part is the product. The product is fantastic! We chose a Select XLS - Heated Bathroom Mirror with Lights. Fantastic, for the first time ever you can shave without having to wipe the mirror. It also heats our bathroom up completely (2x3mtrs). Very very happy.

Superfast delivery, product lacks a few conveniences:
- beeping sound cannot be switched off
- cable is ridiculously short. Since it’s an underdesk heater, the cable needs to be 2x this long.

Consumption really is low. Don’t expect it to heat the room, but it is ideal for when children/pets are around

I had 3 separate orders and deliveries from Herschel (as I wanted to make sure the infrared panels were sufficient for my needs) and each one has been seemless with very quick delivery. There was some significant damage to the packaging via one delivery company but Herschels customer support was excellent and very speedy to respond to my emails in case the panel did not work - but it turned out to be fine. A really good online experience for a change - thanks.

Very helpful advice before purchasing. Order arrived promptly. Happy with the quality and performance of the heater. I had to compromise slightly on power (wattage) as the panel size I wanted is not available. Only issue so far is the MD2 Thermostat. The App is not very intuitive when programming on/off times. Plus you have to repeat enter the on/off times for every day.

Quick delivery, panels are slim and unobtrusive

Very impressed with the aesthetics of the IR mirror I purchased from Herschel Infrared Ltd. The heating is very efficient and the ability to control it via Alexa is great.

There is an issue that when dark, due to the lack of a sensor or illuminated button, it is not possible to easily turn the mirror light on.
