Hertz - Long Beach - Long Beach Airport (LGB) Avis 

Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was that the car smelled like stale cigarettes. Sad because it had less than 5k miles on it.

Hertz provided a reliable, affordable Nissan rental at a super convenient location in Long Beach.

It was very simple.

I was offered an upgrade and the car still had satellite radio. Which I really appreciated.
Also using my reward days have been hard to redeem. I tried on my rental in June. Following all the instructions it didn't show when I picked up my vehicle. I have 3 free days that I haven't been able to apply to a rental.

Didn’t get the car I requested and confirmed by you. When I returned the car-told attendant that the air conditioning wasn’t working- his attitude was “Too bad-I could care less!

The representatives on checking in were very courteous,friendly and efficient. The Hertz rental location at Long Beach Airport is conveniently located just a few steps from the terminal building.

Both Agents being patient and accommodating upon my arrival and did everything to satisfy my needs ♥️

THE TEAM IN LONG BEACH ARE ALL WONDERFUL! LOVE IT.

I have been renting cars from Hertz for number of years! The cars are well maintained. The rental agents are very polite and knowledgeable, they are also very helpful when selecting a car should you want to exchange a car. Location is a key point when picking up a car & returning.

I was promised rewards points due to a bad experience and never got them. I was promised a call back. Never got it. I asked to speak to the manager. Never got it.

Fuel surcharge was not fully explained. They charge you full tank no matter what not how much they have to fill in. Returned 3/4 full and charged for full tank $77+.

The Long Beach Hertz rental experience got off to a rocky start. The Gold location is directly across the street from the main Hertz desk, but the signage is poor and easy to miss. I had to ask for directions just to find the right counter, which is not a great first impression.

Once I got to the correct location, things improved. Marissa was kind, efficient, and made the check-in process smooth. After a brief discussion, we settled on a black Mercedes-Benz GLE, which looked sharp at first glance. On closer inspection, however, it was missing the exterior gas cap door and the engine had a noticeable ticking noise, consistent with a cam lifter issue.

We decided to take the vehicle anyway and made sure to document both issues before leaving the lot. Not the seamless experience you hope for, but Marissa's customer service was stellar, and not her fault for the vehicle we chose.

I was a little early arriving but my car was ready and they offered me a complimentary upgrade. The upgrade was fine but it was too large a vehicle for my situation and I asked for a sedan. They immediately changed my reservation for a car that fit my needs. The gentleman at the Gold Booth at LGB was very helpful, but I didn’t catch his name.

You always pay more at the end of your rental than what is advertised!

I RENTED A SUV WITH SOME DAMAGE AND WAS DOCUMENTED BEFORE I TOOK IT OUT LOT AND NOW THEY ARE TRYING TO MAKE ME RESPONSABLE!! I TOLD THE GUY AT OFFICE AND HE SAID IS ALL DOCUMENTED!! SO???????
