I did it! 30 hours of driving with Jordon and I passs my PCV with only 3 faults!
Jordon is an incredible instructor who is patient and has so much knowledge, it doesn’t matter what your driving style is or what bad habits you have as he can teach you how to overcome them and pass first time….like I did!

Just passed my practical PCV test and it’s all thanks to Dean at HGVC. Great teacher and communicator. Fantastic experience though nerve wrecking, but Dean did a fantastic job easing me in and ultimately guiding me through the process until I passed. 👍🏾👊🏾

Passed my PCV bus driving test today! I'm glad I had Paul at HGVC Stagecoach Manchester as a trainer. He's been a massive part of my success and an extra hand at all times for my progress. He's well experienced and layed everything available on his hands to contribute to us learning and improving daily. The quality of the training buses was not the great we had few breakdowns and faults but regardless of that it's been a very good experience.

Thanks so much Jordan! Helpful, friendly chap, lovely teaching style, always positive and cheery, made me feel I could do it even when I felt nervous. We really had an amazing rapport, we have the same sense of humour, both of us giggling at times. PCV bus driver training at Didcot. Mert was my trainer and he was the best one yet, I was really happy I got the opportunity to be trained by him, he was very patient, kind, compassionate, understanding and knowledgeable. He was able the right my wrongs by speaking calmly and helping me understand how to go about things better and would even show us rather than tell us, my experience with Mert was amazing and he made me feel very comfortable and reassured. Would recommend him to everyone.

Was trained up for PCV by Paul who is currently delivering training at Hyde Road depot of Stagecoach Manchester. He went above and beyond to mould me into a safe and competent bus driver. Fair but firm, when we did something wrong we sure knew about it, but it was all with our best interests at heart, and we also had many a laugh along the way.

As for the company as a whole, the only negative I would say is that, though roadworthy, the PCV training fleet is a bit clapped out. However, this seems to be the norm across all training firms and training divisions of bus companies, as learner buses are basically retired old PCVs that are then converted to training vehicles.

I have just passed my bus driving test with stagecoach and had Karl as my instructor, he took me in and made me feel very comfortable making a friendly connection and acting like the father of the family of trainees alongside me. I had the best experience I could have had. The training itself was great and he’d give feedback after every little thing you did and make you correct it on the next drive, he’d take us around quiet roads to ease us into everything then once we was ready we went into central London and round sharp bends to make sure we can go through anything if possible. All the other inductors was very friendly and nice, which makes you feel like you’re welcomed and apart of everyone’s group. They want the best for you and want to make sure you pass so you have to listen to them!! But yes I had a great experience and would do it all over again if it could.

I can only say good thing about Mert he’s very good instructor at West Ham garage - he told me so much and he don’t say nothing while your driving and he lets you make the mistake so you can learn and he’s calm as well and doesn’t shout at you like other instructors and he always stick to the times given not like other Instructors that go home early and only let you drive 1 hour a day - not only that but the way he speaks and conduct himself will set great example for everyone within the company. He we also give daily review to let know what areas you can improve. He’s definitely the reason I passed my test

Where do I even begin to express my gratitude for the incredible experience I've had with Karl, my bus driving instructor? From the very start, it was evident that he wasn't just passionate about teaching – he was genuinely invested in each of his students' success and well-being.

One of the things that truly set Karl apart was his friendly and approachable demeanour. From day one, he welcomed us with open arms, making us feel like we were part of a close family rather than just students. His warm and inviting nature created a supportive learning environment where we felt comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance.

Karl not only provided excellent instruction but also created a positive environment where we looked forward to coming every day to learn more. His enthusiasm was infectious, and his encouragement motivated us to push ourselves further than we thought possible.

But it wasn't just Karl's personality that made him exceptional – it was also his dedication to ensuring we were fully prepared for the road ahead. He didn't just stick to the basics; he went above and beyond, taking us through tight junctions and navigating meeting oncoming traffic with precision. These real-world scenarios not only sharpened our skills but also instilled in us the confidence to tackle any challenge that comes our way.

And let's not forget about the butter chicken! In addition to being an outstanding instructor, Karl surprised us with his culinary skills, treating us to the most delicious butter chicken I've ever tasted. It was a heartfelt gesture that further solidified the bond we shared.

Thanks to Karl's expert guidance and unwavering support, I passed my test and felt incredibly comfortable behind the wheel. In every aspect of his teaching, from his meticulous note-taking to his friendly demeanour and culinary surprises, Karl surpassed all expectations. He is not just an instructor; he is a mentor, a friend, and a role model. I am immensely grateful for the time I've spent learning under his guidance and will carry the lessons he imparted with me for a lifetime. Thank you for everything, Karl!

Andy is an amazing instructor, he's method's are derived from his experience and are second to none, he's very clear with instructions and has way with people, he will improve your driving and have you thinking differently 10/10 from me
