Hilltop Honey Avis 

Good value for money and a taste to die for brilliant quality

I’ve been bulk buying Hilltop Honey Beeswax Lip Balm for many years. It came in a lovely chunky cardboard push up tube and the contents amounted to 6.25g.
HOWEVER …… I opened the first of my latest batch from Amazon yesterday to be met with a thin (recyclable) cheap looking twist up plastic tube, with a weight declaration on it of just 4.5g!
SHRINKFLATION or what?
I emailed the company and was told that they had had supplier issues regarding the cardboard tube. (Surely more than one cardboard tube manufacturer exists in this country?)
When I replied asking why the Shrinkflation, I was, you guessed it, completely ignored.
Once my current supply has been used, sadly I will be seeking an alternative.
Treating customers like fools doesn’t sit well with me.
I also see there seems to be an absence of any response to customers who have left negative reviews.
I rest my case …….

First time trying Hilltop cut comb and was not impressed.I usually buy from Apidae but since they are out of honeycomb right now i thought i would try Hilltop.It does not compare at all to Apidae so i wont buy it again.

I bought Hilltop honeycomb and it was lined with wax which when it hardened on my spoon and cup was vey very hard plastic to wash off. What on earth is this doing to our insides???
I would have given this 0 stars but not able to. Do not recommend

I had been looking for actual honeycomb for some time. Supermarkets and shops don't sell it and even honey sellers at craft fairs don't either. I did an internet enquiry and found that Hilltop Honey sold it together with a wide range of honey products. I ordered some immediately and it arrived within 48 hours and was very well-packaged. The honey(comb) is delicious and I will be placing another order as soon as this one is finished. I am very pleased to have found Hilltop Honey and am now looking at other honey-based products in its product range.

I recently ordered from Hillside Honey and was very pleased with both the product and the service. The honey is absolutely delicious — rich in flavour, fresh, and clearly high quality. My order arrived fairly quickly and was well packaged. Excellent customer service throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Hillside Honey I have also ordered honey comb to make ice cream which hopefully will be equally delightful and will be ordering again.

Love the taste and being able to get it from my local Aldi is a godsend. I love it in my morning porridge. Just wish honey wouldn’t crystallise but as it’s a natural product it’s worth it 😋😋😋
