hmv (UK) - Basingstoke Avis 218

Our local HMV is in Southampton which is great. We're also been to the one in London, Portsmouth, and Winchester.
This was our first visit to Basingstoke have to say it was a very nice store. Great layout and stocked well. As a lover of vinyl records, star wars and Funko pops there is always something to find.
Staff are always polite and helpful.
Only down side is my bank balance after.

Hello was looking for dvd the hit man's bodyguard, asked Lexi for help.
Lexi could not have been more helpful, very pleasant, went out to store to look for it, unfortunately not there but ordered the box set online. But I must say all your staff in your Basingstoke store are lways pleasant, polite, knowledgeable and very helpful. Pleasure to shop there.

The shop is brilliant and the customer service too. I couldn't get a certain dvd in the shop, but it was posted to me in 4days,after ordering it instead.

Very happy with the service at Basingstoke store and the quick delivery of DVDs in the week before Christmas. No issues at all.

Sadly the disc I wanted wasn't in stock, however the sales assistant was able to order it there and then and after paying it arrived in the post just a few days later as expected. Good job

Very helpful staff who were patient and took the time to assist me in finding a vinyl for my daughter even though it was 5 minutes before the shop was due to close.

I recently used Click and Collect to buy a PS4 game as a present. Ordering on the website and collection in the store were quick and easy, and any delivery charge was avoided.

Could not find the item that I wanted in the store. After asking the assistant for help she ordered it for me online.
An email telling me to collect from store was sent a few days later. There were no problems from start to finish and found the ordered item was well packed on collection.

Staff so very helpful and very knowledgeable indeed. Really do know their products. When asked something they did not know they were more than happy to search on computer. Such an easy straight forward process to place an order.

Wanted a few vintage classic films on DVD , HMV staff very helpful and quickly located and ordered them in, opted to pick them up from the store. Quick, efficient and pleasant, all at a reasonable price.

It is sometime since I visited the Basingstoke store which has changed beyond recognition. I know CD’s are no longer flavour of the month but I was disappointed at the range of CD’s available.

Ordered a DVD prior to its release and received it promptly on release date
