Good store, plenty of stock with friendly and helpful staff

Customer service was helpful with the album I was looking for.

Really helpful staff, the item I went to purchase was out of stock, but I went ahead and bought the CD. HMV kept me weekly informed about my purchase and had it delivered by royal mail to my home address when it came available. Big Thank you to the staff at our Hanley store 👏

Have been purchasing K-pop for my teenage granddaughter for a while now. Staff always helpful and knowledgeable about my purchases. As a 60 year old grandparent who didn’t even know what K-pop meant this goes along way with my purchases The staff at Hanley HMV always go above and beyond with there customer service , I will always recommend HMV Hanley to my friends and family, and a Big Thankyou to the staff there for there help and knowledge which goes along way.

Prompt delivery of lp ordered on line to the Hanley branch. Always friendly and helpful staff.

The HMV in Hanley is absolutely revolting. Albums ripped, Scattered across the floor. It is ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. Don't even get me started on the K-pop section. It agitates me, boils my blood when i see outdated K-pop albums from 2022. Where is ENHYPEN, Where is Stray Kids, Where is NMIXX, Where is Cortis? I should be able to be a happy customer that is able the find NEW albums when i go to HMV in Hanley. But no, I see stupid Seventeen albums no-one wants. If you're going to advertise K-pop albums at least don't lie to yourself and your buyers. Not only that, but the prices have unreasonably gone up. Why am i paying £3.50 for a K-pop blind bag with one photocard no-one even knows about. It is ridiculous and I'm very much surprised you have not got sued, Fix your game HMV and actually stock good ENHYPEN albums like Desire:Unleash or The Sin:Vanish.

Received email informing that my online order was ready to collect from my local HMV store.
On arrival showed the email to a female member of staff who looked for the vinyl album but was unable to locate it!
A male member of staff then looked for it with the same result.
Female staff member went to look in the stock room but was still unable to locate.
I then asked if they had a copy in store which I could take as I had made a special journey to collect my order.
I was initially told no they could not do that.
After around 30 minutes I was then told I could take the copy they had in store on display after all.
Staff were polite and apologetic but this was hardly a smooth transaction and a waste of my time.
