Absolutely amazing service! Everything went smoothly and much quicker than I expected. The whole process was stress-free, professional, and very well handled from start to finish. They have communicated efficiently at every point, and advertised our property in a way that got a number of views booked in fast despite the slow moving market at the time.

It was only a few weeks from the property listing with Hobbs Parker before we accepted an offer, and then the estate agent helped ensure that we were kept up to date with progress. Their efficiency in communication kept both parties in the transaction aware of the progress being made, which allowed a completion time in well under 2 months from accepting the offer.

We have used Hobbs Parker on two occasions now, and I cannot recommend them enough. We have had bad experiences with other agents in the past; you do not need to worry about that with these.

These folk at ashford were amazing. Right from the start. I popped into their office and arranged a meeting, when Greg came out we spoke for a good while going through all the circumstances, and he spoke a lot of sense! There's the usual waffle that estate agents feed you, but Greg was honest and straight up. I didn't have to lift a finger when it came to viewings, they did all that. Kept me well informed, changed things up a bit when it was needed. These people know their jobs! It was effortless on my part from start to finish. Emma did brilliantly with communicating everything that was going on, especially in the final week when it all goes a bit crazy!

I genuinely couldn't recommend them higher. Yes the agent fees are a bit higher than some high street brands, but they did brilliantly, and I'd rather pay just a fraction more to get the quality of service and hassle free sale that they did for me. Well worth it.

Above and beyond local knowledge with sympathetic staff who are all very responsive. Photography is high quality, viewings are well organised and feedback is quick plus insightful. The tracking between offer to final completion is meticulously well managed. All round great team , highly recommend.

Terrible communication, weeks without contact. Unable to get feedback from viewers, really poor service. Avoid.

We used Hobbs Parker to let out a house for us during the time of Covid restrictions and also act as managing agents. I can only speak from our experience but I have to say Moya and her team were brilliant.
Not only did they find excellent tenants who are still with us, they regularly inspect the property and report back.
Hobbs Parker have demonstrated that if everyone works together, landlords, tenants and agents, it is quite easy for everyone to get on with their lives stress free.

Hobbs Parker gave us a great service. Our property was not in the best of health but Hobbs Parker saw the potential and advised us on the sealed bids method which was perfect for us. They found us a cash buyer and achieved a successful sale in a good time scale. They kept us fully informed throughout and we were very satisfied with the outcome.

After a number of months searching we found our near perfect property. We made an offer and agreed a purchase price. As we are in the process of selling our existing property (a number of viewings and second visits) we agreed to provide the Tenterden sales team with a weekly update on the progress of our sale. In return we asked them to notify us of any other interest, giving us the opportunity to renegotiate the price. We were told of another interest in a phone call we made to your office (as we promised), updating you with our situation. It was then that we said we would reconsider price if their interest continued to an offer.
Yesterday we saw on the internet advert for the property that it had been sold. We received no communication or opportunity to rebid, especially as we were first to agree to purchase the property.
This 'secret process' blindsided us. We have been open and honourable throughout the process. In return we have been potentially cheated by a covert arrangement.
We were told they were sorry. "But is was someone else in the team" So they don't appear to communicate and work as a team So unprofessional.

Utterly unprofessional!

Complete lack of communication, not even listening to what your client is saying, rude replies especially from Moya at Hobbs Parker.

You really need to not only undergo a customer relations training and rethink the way you speak to your clients, but review more carefully the people working at the agency, who seem to feel entitled and above them! Need I remind you who's paying YOUR bills!

Blunt and beyond rude, all because we wanted to move out before the end of our tenancy. Need to stop and think about how you speak to people.

Valuation less than a valuation I had 2 years ago despite buoyant market. Factored in “possible unforeseen repairs” as reason for low valuation. Even zoopla estimated 65k more just in previous sale price and general market increase over the subsequent years. I got the feeling the guy just didn’t want to be bothered with it unless it was a giveaway. Since heard another customer say the same thing. Sad, cos I really thought I’d sell with them but wouldn’t trust them to be enthusiastic sellers now even if they upped the price.

It is with dismay that I have to leave this review of Hobbs Parker Ashford, I sent in about 14 pages of requested ID, utility bills, proof of funds, along with informal tender letter to buy a residential property with land. A week after the tender deadline I rang the offices to be told that the executors had not made any decision as yet, I explained how unbelievably stressful it is trying to buy a property, let alone by some greedy executors who couldnt be bothered to make a decision even a week after the tender deadline. Hobbs Parker still havent contacted me to inform me of the results of the tender! however I see that the land has been readvertised, so now Im aware that the house sold without the land. How unprofessional are Hobbs Parker.. they havent even got the decency to inform me that my bid offer wasnt good enough to buy the property..

Excellent company. I got in touch with Hobbs Parker for some advice about planning permission for an agricultural building. I spoke to Jonathan Lee who was extremely helpful. He was able to give me the advice I needed, some of which was very specific legislation which he could cite on the spot. I would definitely recommend them. Friendly, reliable advice and fair pricing.

Great service, all questions and concerns addressed promptly. Friendly, approachable company. From viewing property to moving in communication was great. After care has also been much better than other letting agents.
