I've just been called by Sadie to arrange a preferred delivery window and heavily discounted payment for the replacement of my 42 years old Phillips flatbed microwave. Sadie was exceptionally helpful, cheerful and efficient.
I originally received email options and chose the option that best suited me.
Having just spoken with Bee regarding my washing machine being faulty. Bee was very professional and polite and hopefully engineers will be contacting me ASAP. Thanks Bee
This review is written on behalf of my father. I contacted Home appliance Guard in January 2026 due to the water and ice dispenser not working on my fridge freezer and it took them 3 months to fix it which is unacceptable. During the 3 months I have had to contact them numerous times and they kept fobbing me off by saying we will contact the engineer to get a update. The engineer only came out 2 times, the 1st time to check what the issue is and the last time to fix it, in-between these 2 visits the engineer was supposed to come out around 4 times but never showed. The only reason this review is getting 2 stars is due to them actually fixing the issue

My tumble dryer nearly caught fire and when engineer came they said it was repairable but needed lots of parts. A week later the engineer came back to repair, spent at least an hour rebuilding it to find it was still overheating and was told by the technical dept that it was actually unrepairable and would be collected sometime.
I then received a text from Appliance Guard to say the tumble dryer repair was completed and asked for feedback. Im still without a tumble dryer and no communication abt a replacement. I am very disappointed with the service and thinking of cancelling the contract.

Our vacuum was collected and delivered back again after being mended. The person doing this was very friendly, polite and quick. It was only gone for a week, we were expecting a lot longer. It is now working well. Thank you.?

As it's 12 years old now and repair costs might be high or parts no longer available (possibly a motor issue), she advised they MAY just replace it, so to check for a text early next week letting me know if an engineer will be sent or not.
New version of this same Daewoo 900w combi is now twice the price it was, so if needs replaced I will be so happy I upgraded my plan a few years ago to a multi appliance plan and included it on the policy!
I now have all my home appliances covered with HAG, including my hubby's Xbox (having started with just a washer and drier plan some 15+ years ago).
Whenever I've needed them the response has been quick and efficient and the claims line staff and engineers have been so helpful and friendly. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

Very happy with the service from start to finish. Rang and reported the fault on my oven where the staff were friendly and helpful, I have never yet had any problems with any jobs in the past. Janis was assigned to do the job and it’s not the first time he has come to repair my appliances. As usual, he was a pleasure to deal with, very pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful and respectful.

Needed a replacement and phoned up paid delivery and it was all at ease no stress . And due to work able to give family address to be delivered to so get my air fryer .

48hours after reporting my broken appliance 2 engineers called to inspect the problem. I was informed by text the day before who would be coming & again at 8.15 am to say engineer (Richard) would be with us between 8-11am, they arrived at 9am, needed to order a replacement part. Exactly one week later they returned & completed the job in no time. Very clean polite workers. Very pleased with the service. Plus, I now have my dishwasher back in action.

Bee was extremely helpful, as are most of the staff. The only thing I would feel much happier about is if they offered better replacements that actually matched the ones I have insured. The machines offered are inferior to the ones I currently have

I couldn’t fault the engineer that came to fix my washing machine, experienced and knowledgable. What lets them down is the waiting time for an engineer. Took two weeks to wait for repair. With two disabled adults in the house that were meant to be priority.
