I had not heard of this company before but I placed my order Wednesday PM and it was delivered Friday AM. I was very impressed with the customer service department. Ruby kept me fully informed of progress. I would definitely use them again.

I recently ordered a replacement shower tray and shower screen from Home Supply and I cannot rate their service more highly. The price was excellent and the quality of goods supplied, a Tissino Fiorti 1100x1000 shower tray and Merlyn 1200mm shower doors were both excellent. We had intentionally ordered a 1100 shower tray and 1200 doors to fit our project but the Home Supply Customer Services Rep called us to check our order and ensure it was correct which shows great care and attention. Both products arrived safely and promptly. As a DIY'r I would strongly recommend this company and will certainly use them again. My pre-purchase request for price-matching of a shower enclosure was met with a swift and positive response. My subsequent order was dealt with speedily and efficiently.
I was able to track the delivery of the Merlyn product which actually arrived earlier than expected, in great condition and by a friendly, helpful driver.

I ordered a 2000 x 1000mm shower tray and it was somehow sent out in a van with only one delivery driver and a narrow trolley. There was also no obvious tail lift. This item was EXTREMLEY heavy and he was unable to manage to lift the item alone due to the weight and size. I had to help him and find a duvet cover to enable us to slide it along the drive and into the side alley way of house, I am 64 years old!! My son enters strongman competitions and he struggled getting it into the garage. This driver should not have been expected to lift such heavy items alone and your health and safety training should have protected this member of staff. I have been generous giving two stars and that's down to the driver being so pleasant.

Back in the lean years of Prohibition, when the law was dry but the creeks ran wet with corn mash, I was sittin’ on the porch of my still-house, watchin’ the smoke curl up like a sinner’s prayer, when the postman hove into view.

He come carryin’ a box long as a coffin and twice as suspicious.

“Package for you,” he says.

I looked at the label. Came from Home supply.

Now, that puzzled me somethin’ fierce, on account of I hadn’t set foot in town for weeks, and the only thing I’d ordered lately was yeast and maybe a pair of wool socks.

Maybe.

So I hauled the box inside and set it beside the still, starin’ at it like it owed me money.

“What fool contraption have I gone and bought?” I muttered.

See, that’s the danger of orderin’ things by catalogue after testin’ your own product. A man gets generous with his own pocketbook and reckless with plumbing.

I tore it open.

Inside was a brass float valve.

A float valve.

Shiny as a sheriff’s badge and twice as complicated lookin’.

Now, I turned it over in my hands and tried to reckon what midnight version of myself had thought, Yes sir, this here is essential.

Was it for the water barrel?

The condenser coil?

The bathtub I ain’t owned since ‘21?

Couldn’t say.

But I’ll tell you this: Home Supply shipped it tighter than a banker’s fist. Wrapped so snug it could’ve survived a raid by revenuers and a tumble down Widow Granger’s hill.

Quality? Fine. Heavy brass, threads clean as Sunday boots.

Purpose? A mystery deeper’n the mash recipe my granddaddy took to the grave.

Still, after squintin’ at it over breakfast, inspiration struck.

Rigged it to the cooling barrel on the still, and by thunder, it kept the water level steadier than a church deacon’s handshake.

Turns out drunk me had accidentally improved the operation.

So my review stands thus:

Five stars for the float valve.
One star deducted for causin’ me to spend half a day wonderin’ if I’d blacked out and become a plumber.

In these parts, sometimes the post don’t bring what you remember wantin’.

But every now and then, it brings exactly what your liquor-soaked good sense knew you’d need.

Beautifully made shower tray and bifold door, just what I was looking for. Delivery was quick and efficient.

Tap was of poor quality and dribbled .
I obviously had to fit it to find this to find out.
Tap returned but found to be acceptable by manufactures as it dribbled for only "up to 20 seconds".

I purchased two Kartell toilet units from HomeSupply for around £500. The customer service team — particularly Mollie — were polite and responsive throughout, and I want to acknowledge that.

However, one of the units arrived with a manufacturing defect: it leaked from the ceramic body after every flush. What followed was weeks of back-and-forth, video evidence requests, and delays — during which I was left without a functioning toilet. By the time the replacement was arranged, I had already paid my plumber twice: once to install the faulty unit, and again to remove it and fit the replacement. Despite this, only a £50 goodwill gesture was offered, which did not come close to covering the additional costs I incurred due to a product that should never have passed quality control.

To make matters worse, during the return process an old pan was mistakenly sent back to the manufacturer. Rather than simply disposing of it — which would have cost them nothing — Kartell shipped it back to my address without my consent, had it signed for by a neighbour, and cited "hygiene regulations" as the reason they couldn't handle it. Those same hygiene concerns apparently didn't prevent them from putting it on a courier van.

HomeSupply's staff did their best within their limits, but as the retailer they were ultimately unable to advocate effectively for a customer who had cooperated fully at every stage. If something goes wrong with a Kartell product, be prepared for a lengthy and frustrating process.

Competitive prices and quick and free delivery. Cannot fault the company, excellent service.
