I live in portishead area. Sergio is my area tyre fitter. I cannot praise him and the service I received highly enough. Saved by him yet again !

Consummate professionals. I checked with the team whether they were able to work with Porsche centrelock wheels, and they confirmed they could. We booked in for a puncture repair, with a tyre lined up in case they were not able to repair the tyre. They were booked in for 11:15, and the technician was outside my house at 11:14. Had all the necessary tools (and the experience) to deal with the centerlocks, with spare tyre in the van. Happily, he was able to repair the tyre. He also checked the pressure in my other wheels. Great service, would recommend.

While I don't want to waste my time writing lengthy review on this company, I would suggest to avoid this company at all cost.

In a nutshell, they fited and sold me none run-flat tyre, I thought I was getting a lifetime deal with the price ( 541 for x6 2018 reg) and tyre recommendations which came up when i inputted my reg and tyre size. It was unfortunately too good to be true when I found out the tires were infact none run flat tyre. By the time I noticed it wasn't, I have already travelled 60 miles on it and they refused to change. The fact that they are the first companies in their website to give you ( named budget tyres) rather than the actual cars tyre spec is a worry. I went to BMW to produce the 5-years report showing the car had always had a run flat tyre, my credit company unfortunately advised it would have been very difficult to get the refund as they have mentioned
on the tyre report with abbreviation (st) meanings standard and that the tires are in fact none non-run flat tyres.

I won't go into the various excuses they gave during the complaint I.e. justifying runflat tyre is deemed harsh on the ride etc.. but I would advise not to sign the completion pad without checking, as it means you agree to their terms and conditions, which was not given out at the initial order form but during the mobile fitting , which again was not given.

Based on my own experience it's a definitely no for this company.

Very pleasant chap Sergio. Quickly removed the wheel, found a screw had punctured the tread and told me he could repair instead of replacing. Only took about ten minutes and saved me £80 compared to a new tyre. He even went round and made sure all other tyres were the correct pressure. Very impressed indeed.

My wife phoned for some mid-range tyres of a specific brand, the guy on the phone was really helpful and even offered tyres from the same manufacturer but with a higher load rating for the same price.

When the fitter arrived he just got on with the job, although he didn't jack where I asked him to as instructed by my caravan service guy. The job was completed and the guy left. He never mentioned that the brand had been switched to a budget brand and the load rating was lower than ordered, and we were still charged the price quoted for the mid-range.

Having discovered these issues my wife rang them and the lady was being unhelpful and saying they only recommend budget tyres on a caravan anyway. NOT THE POINT, we asked and were quoted for specific tyres!

Because we were going away and they couldn't then give us the requested tyres we had to use the ones fitted and the best offer of compensation was £24, still over the cost of the budget tyres.

Brilliant service today saving my tyre with a valve repair after I had to ditch my car at a friends house in a nearby village.

Little mix up with the order I put through the day before but all sorted and Hometyre were more than happy to sort everything out over the phone with me.

I recently reviewed Craig from the Milton Keynes branch of Hometyre, but this week had an urgent need to get a damaged tyre replaced, so had to get it done at my office in Northampton rather than at home. That meant I met James, who covers that area. Yet another fantastic service - really friendly, got the job done quickly and on time. After the replacement I realised I had a tyre cover policy but the claim required photographic evidence and a form completing by the fitter. Chanced my arm and messaged James (expecting it was too late to get the necessary details), but he took photos and even came back to the office the next day to complete and sign the form. Totally above and beyond what's expected! Thanks James!

I've used Hometyre in Edinburgh a few times now, and they've always been excellent. Great service at a great price. Most recently, I noticed one of my tyres had developed a bubble (pothole damage), and Tony was able to come out the very next day to replace it. Tony is a splendid fellow; polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. As usual, he inspected the other tyres too, and he noticed the inside tread on the other front tyre was starting to get low. There was absolutely no 'hard sell' at all, but for the sake of road safety it was very helpful to have this pointed out, so I arranged for Tony to come back the following day and replace that one as well. I'll certainly keep using Hometyre in the future, they're a great outfit and I hope they do well.

I had a great experience with Hometyre. They had top notch customer service and kept me informed every step of the way. Wayne was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable when he came to do a mobile fitting. I would use the company again in the future.

I needed to replace both front tyres and a friend recommended Hometyre.
I phoned at midday, tyre fitter Sergio arrived at 2.15 and all done by 3pm!

I don’t normally write reviews but I had such fantastic service from Hometyre that it motivated me to write one.
They were very helpful when I phoned to tell them I had a slow puncture and booked me in for early next morning. Next morning I get a phone call apologising that he was delayed and would be half an hour late. When he arrives the repair turns into a replacement when he finds not only a large thorn through the sidewall but also a nasty bulge in the tyre where I’ve hit a pothole. Normally they would bring a replacement with them but I have uncommon mud and snow tyres fitted and they hadn’t been able to track one down. That afternoon they call to say they have the tyre and come straight back and swap it and all for a very reasonable price. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

If you are stuck at home with a flat tyre look no further!

I needed a replacement done at my home. I contacted hometyre and they came out same day within a couple of hours of me contacting them. The staff member that called me and the tyre fitter were both really pleasant and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend hometyre and will certainly use them again
