Had an excellent experience with Hosteeva. The property was exactly as described, and the photos on the site matched the actual space. Customer support was quick to respond to a minor issue we had, which made everything so much easier. Will book again!

Beautiful cabin
Great experience. Modern updated cabin. All amenities in the kitchen. Comfortable beds. Has a jacuzzi and an EV charger. Close to downtown. A plus was the walking trail right out the back gate.

I had reservations at the Birch Glen Lodge, Disappointed.
I had reservations at the Birch Glen Lodge in Cascade Idaho. I was on my way down there from Eastern washington. I stopped at a motel on the way. My room was robbed and my money was taken along with other items. They would not let me cancel my reservations no matter the reason. I had no money to even get there but they would’ve have it. I guess there really isn’t an excuse.

We recently visited the plantation condo. This property is so cute and a great beach vibe! It was very clean and had everything we needed to make our vacation memorable! We loved staying close to the ocean! Great property!

Strange process and misleading photos
My family recently stayed at a Hosteeva property in Pigeon Forge, TN called the Sugar Bear Cabin. The initial booking process was very strange, with photos of my ID needing to be uploaded and verified. I also didn't receive an email confirmation of the booking or any emailed rental contracts that needed to be signed. I did, however, immediately receive the information for the additional travel insurance I purchased. I reached out multiple times through email and phone inquiring about a confirmation, with no answer. Finally after messaging someone on Facebook messenger, the email confirmation was sent to me. Of course I was sent the notice for the final payment on time and the check-in instructions were also sent on time.
Check-in was easy and contactless. The door had an electronic keypad so we were able to use the code that was sent. Every light and television in the house were on upon arrival, so that was strange. One of the kitchen windows was also open.
The photos in the listing were very misleading. While the house looked beautiful at first glance, we noticed many cleanliness and housekeeping issues that were not captured in the listing photos. There was a smart home/security system in the kitchen that appeared to have a camera (or was at least motion sensitive) but the touch screen remained black the whole time so we couldn't actually see what it was doing. We ended up covering it up because that was a huge breech of privacy, especially considering it wasn't in the listing. Here are some other things: a significant gap between the front door in the frame that let air and bugs in, a dip in the kitchen floor and gapping in the boards on the kitchen floor, a strange brown stain on a beam between the kitchen and living room and a gap between that beam and the ceiling, hard water buildup on the shower heads, rust buildup on the bath tubs, broken wooden blinds, no headboards on the upstairs beds, sheets that were way to big and had to be adjusted and folded in frequently, broken closet doors, poor installation of shower heads and sink fixtures, poor water pressure, shower in the master bedroom didn't easily get hot water, the kitchen cabinets had peeling paint, the kitchen was poorly equipped with scratched cookware and dull knives, the clothes dryer didn't heat up fully and had to be run more than once even for small loads of laundry, the hot tub control buttons worked intermittently, there was a strong sewage smell outside, and not all of the string lights on the porch worked.
We really love the area, and made it work. We were even offered to extend our stay by one day for a deal and we did stay an extra day. We figured we were already there and dealing with it, so might as well stay that extra day and be able to do more activities. However, I wouldn't recommend that cabin to anyone nor would I stay in it again.
I did give that feedback to Hosteeva and received a thoughtful email back as well as a note stating they would give a small refund for everything we experienced during our stay. However, what really bothered me more than anything was that I was unable to directly leave a review on the listing for the property. The property currently has a completely un-deserved 4.7 star rating on the Hosteeva website with nothing but positive reviews. So the listing is completely misleading. Of course I appreciate a refund, but nobody is going to know the true condition of the house until they rent it. And that is so fishy to me. I won't use Hosteeva again nor would I recommend it.
EDITED TO ADD: I received multiple phone calls and text message from Hosteeva urging me to change my review. They also told me that if I wanted a refund, I had to remove my review on here.
Hosteeva...NEVER AGAIN!!!
If I could give them zero stars I would! I will NEVER stay in a property managed by Hosteeva again! I stayed in the Bluewater Resort condos once before and thought I would never get through the registration process. I could not take pictures of my driver's license with my iPhone 15 because their website said there was no camera...SERIOUSLY? I finally had to call them and text the pictures to them. I decided to give them another chance and stayed here again. This time, same thing...It thinks my iPhone doesn't have a camera. But, this time was WORSE. When I finally got the registration done and got to my condo, I could not get in. The batteries in the digital lock were dead. I had to wait for nearly an hour for someone to come and change the batteries. In the meantime, I called Hosteeva back and tried to cancel the reservation and get my money back. They could not do anything because they said I had booked through Expedia. WRONG. I booked through Delta. They told me to call Delta. The lady at Delta was very nice, put me on hold and came back on the line several minutes later and said that it was non-refundable and there was nothing they could do. When the maintenance guy finally showed up he changed the battery. While the door was open I tried the code myself but he did not give me the correct instructions with the code. I finally figured it out...on my own. Sorry, Hosteeva...this isn't baseball. TWO strikes and you are OUT with me! NEVER AGAIN!!! Delta Airlines needs to rethink letting their customers book rooms through their website that are managed by Hosteeva.
BEWARE!!
BEWARE!!! I stayed at Caribe Unit 306C through Hosteeva and had a deeply disappointing experience. After we checked out, they charged my card without consent for damage to a bathtub that we never used during our stay. I immediately reached out to dispute the charge, but Hosteeva refused to take responsibility or even investigate. They were completely dismissive and unprofessional, leaving me financially liable for something I had no part in.
This feels like a scam, and I would strongly urge others to avoid renting from Hosteeva, especially at this property. If this is how they treat guests, it’s only a matter of time before more people are taken advantage of. I’ve never had this kind of experience in all my years of traveling.
Do yourself a favor—book elsewhere.

Easy to book, amazing communication, and one of the better experiences I've had booking. Will definitely do it again with Hosteeva!

This is the third property I’ve rented…
This is the third property I’ve rented in this development and they are always great. Good security and quiet street. The space is clean and bright with plenty of areas for seating and eating for a group. I also like that all the bedrooms are similar which makes assignments easy.

The apartment was spacious
The apartment was spacious, clean and had a great location. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils, cups, glasses, plates and cutlery. Bathrooms were nice and clean. The building security was good as the front door was on a code pad and each apartment had it's own individual code. It's located close to the main Canal street which has the street cars that give access to the whole city. I would definitely stay here again.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. We had broken toilet and when told Hosteva ghosted us. Then repairman came with no notice and when we weren’t there to fix it against their own policy. Received call 2 weeks later and offered me laughable compensation. Do not rent from them. If you have an issue you are on your own. Many bad reviews especially 1014 canal st New Orleans
Large apartment in warehouse area
It was challenging to find an apartment for 5 people attending a convention in New Orleans, but we are glad to find this one! It was comfortable, spacious, and had all necessary amenities. The neighborhood was quiet, and it was a comfortable .8 mile walk to the convention center. If you need to get to French Quarter, you are a block away from St Charles Ave trolley. I would be glad to rent again!

The master shower did not have any hot…
The master shower did not have any hot water out of the 3 bathrooms in our condo. I called and within the hour someone was there to fix it without any problems. Thank you for taking care of us!

Terrible
If we could give zero stars, we would. Working or having worked in industries where we mostly deal with people’s issues/complaints, we typically make the best out of small issues, but that wasn’t an option here. There were so many more positive reviews than negative reviews, so we went for it, but we learned our lesson.
We rented the “Romantic Hideaway” for a three night stay for a total of $883.56. We arrived and there was an error message on the dart board, so we messaged the host to notify them. Told them we were just letting them know so we weren’t charged for the damage. We didn’t really look around and kind of just chilled for a bit until we went to bed. We pulled back the covers and it was immediately clear the sheets had not been washed from the previous guests. There was hair in the bed, dirt on the sheets by the feet, and numerous stains. The second set of sheets left in the bedroom did not fit the bed and we had to locate other ones. We washed the sheets and some of the stains came out. The next morning, we went to start the fireplace in the living room and it did not work. We messaged the “host”, who apparently wasn’t the host, but was a third party rental company, Hosteeva. They said they would send someone to fix the issues, so we decided to stay. No one came, but we were in contact with them and by the time we learned no one was coming, it was too late and dark for us to drive.
We looked around the rest of the house to try to make the best out of other amenities and just found more uncleanliness. There was buildup in the toilet, water damage in the master shower, mold in the coffee maker, and cobwebs throughout the house. We looked at the indoor jacuzzi and there was hair and dirt in it, clearly not having been cleaned. The outdoor hot tub only half filled with cloudy water, to where the jets would not be properly effective, and there was mud/dirt resting at the bottom of the hot tub.
At this point, we reached out to Airbnb and I sent them photos and videos of everything. Hosteeva would continuously say they would work with us, then we would be ignored until late at night, when we would be charged for an additional night. They offered us 20% off for the fireplace not working and 20% off the cleaning fee totaling $150. I asked about the jacuzzi and hot tub and mere fact that none of the amenities being paid for were usable and they said they weren’t aware of that. I told them I’d spoken with Airbnb who had been coordinating with them and the woman from Hosteeva asked me to not speak to Airbnb regarding any issues.
The folks from Hosteeva were rude, dismissive, unresponsive, ineffective, and apathetic. Airbnb ended up getting the full cleaning fee of $361 returned and Hosteeva called me to argue about that. In reality, the house was disgusting and there should have been more of a refund, but at least Airbnb said they were looking at suspending their account, so that’s a win for us so others don’t have the same experience.

Very good place. Spacious and cozy. Bring your own coffee.

My family of 4 stayed at the Bywater
My family of 4 stayed at the Bywater in a 2 bedroom. The place was clean and nice with secure gated parking and a pool and hot tub. With my booking they continued to send me requests for confirmation, first of my id then of my credit card. I've never had this before but thankfully I saw the emails or my reservation may have been cancelled if I hadn't responded. I'd stay again the location was good

The condo was clean and fit our needs…
The condo was clean and fit our needs as a family of 8. One suggestion would be to change out the shower curtain hooks in the master bathroom, the "s" type hooks fall out when the curtains slide and need to be fixed every shower. Our kids enjoyed racquetball and the indoor pool. Husband went to the gym most mornings and had no complaints. This 1st floor apt was very convenient with stairs to the basement level right next door to make it quick for the kids to enjoy the amenities and walk to the beach. Great location on the strip, we were close by to anything we needed quick. Make sure if arriving in evening to park in a spot that isn't labeled for owners, wasn't easily seen and we got a warning it would be towed out.
