The male receptionist was very rude and patronising and was no help. I wouldn’t recommend this charity as your trying to do a good deed then get spoken to so bad. He said they called me when I didn’t receive no missed call. Waste of time

Disappointing service despite using them a few times. The website stated small appliances would be taken. I left a small item outside which was lightweight in perfect condition and was refused. Seems it’s just clothes which are collected

I've used this service for a while and haven't had an issue with collection. In fact, a lot of the times the drivers just let themselves in the building to take the clothes.

This time, they changed my collection time at the last minute, then didn't ring the intercom to collect the clothes. I received a voicemail to say that they couldn't access the property so had moved on.

I spoke to their rep on the phone and told them that they never buzzed the door, and this incredibly rude man told me I was being 'contradictory' and that the driver had 100% rang the intercom, when he hadn't. I said that maybe they made a mistake and didn't follow the intercom instructions, and he doubled down and insisted that I was wrong.

I complained about their tone and attitude via email, and they sent me a lovely AI generated email (responding to each point in a way that misinterpreted queues and muddled up context).

Between this and all the reviews on here calling them a scam, I won't be using them again. Congrats huns, I guess you've made me want to bin my clothes instead

I have been using Icollectclothes for several years now after reading the excellent review of their service in The Times newspaper. Communication with them is first rate. They respond immediately to any communications, and are always happy to answer any questions about donations etc. They give very specific time slots for collections, and never fail to meet the deadlines. I highly recommend them.

They only donate £200 for every tonne of clothes you give them, which is like £1 for a few bags of clothes?!

I put a few bags out for collection this morning and was looking out for the driver so I could give him a tip as the bags were quite heavy. He had already been and gone in no time so I missed him. Many thanks for your very efficient service.

Few times i tried to use this service, they can never accommodate the preferred date, so why put it? Even when booked more than a week prior. Always using the alternative date. Never using them again

Booked collection, had confirmation, then 2 days later had an email saying they don't collect in my area. Not sure why they needed 2 days to work this out. Pretty poor.

just want to share my experience. I had a ‘Icollect clothes’ donation pickup. I had the worst experience. The driver was so inconsiderate, i watched him! He through all the bags with working toys and items in perfect condition down the staircases! I could hear it falling and breaking! Andhe done it all the way down every staircase. What kind of service is this? It was unacceptable.You trust a company to give your old things which was in perfect condition to another family, Instead its just thrown like its garbage. I am extremely upset with this it really hurt to see my old items like that. Last couple of times it was just driver being moody and chucking stuff throwing it in the van. But this time it really really was way out of order!! For a gesture I left a note and some thank you snacks for the driver even. He through it on the floor! And took bags chucking it down. This service was the worst service ever! It has genuinely upset me alot. Guys if you want your donations to go somewere meaningful and treated well than dont use this company. Genuinely hurt alot hearing everything break.

I have used this company for several years and ive never had a problem with them. I dont even have to stay at home for them to collect. I tape the bags and boxes up very well and as far as im concerned they have never gone through any bags or boxes. There may be people who pretend they are from the company which then makes the company look bad.

Emailed to arrange collection with dates and which charity I wished to donate to. Unfortunately 2 dates weren't suitable so they quickly asked me if an alternative was suitable. Three times now they have arrived at the arranged time and the drivers have been polite and cheerful. I contacted my chosen charity to confirm that they do actually receive the funds. I can highly recommend this company and will continue to use them

Used before - fine. Used last week. Two delivery dates rejected. Now repeated emails stating times but not turned up. Really poor. Wont be using again. Collection still here.

Rang up, was told driver had an emergency- doesnt explain the updates indicating arrival.

These are not a charity, nor do the charities they claim they donate to, know of them.

They are collecting your clothes, keeping the good ones, landfilling the rest and making money from it.

I was SO frustrated as a charity I won't name put a bag through for unwanted clothes but never came to collect it! Even though I tried to reach out several times, leaving messages, no response! Then I found these guys, they immediately responded, sent me messages about collection times, confirmation, everything! even on the day, they gave me an updated (narrowed down) collection time, which was very useful! I will definitely use their service again! Thank you so much, keep up the good work!

I informed and reminded from booking to pick up the clothing was picked up on time and was thanked and appreciatd which made me feel like i had contributed some thing good for the community

I have used this company twice now and have been very impressed by the service
I have used other companies and watched as the driver ripped open my bags and sorted through my donations. He put some of my item in the cab of his van and left the rest in the gutter
However I have since read some disturbing reviews about this company!
Unsure what to do next time I have donations

We are Oakwood Animal Sanctuary Shop in Neston, Wirral. icollect are friendly, easy to book and reliable with collections. Would definitely recommend them

I have always found them very helpful and informative of collection. Never had any problems and have been using this company for years now.

Supposedly collecting for recycling or charity. I have CCTV footage of the driver going through bags, taking out items that are obviously worth something to them and ditching the rest in bags over a hedge into a field!!! They're nothing but FLYTIPPERS!! Use them with extreme care.
