IMO Car Wash - Coatbridge Avis 11

Used the wash in Coatbridge.
Guy was so friendly and talked me through how to use, as I had never used one before.
Great service.

Prepaid for a wash drove to my local site waited in the queue only to be told you have to wait for the QR code to arrive in your app wallet and I would have to come back when it arrives. I then had to reverse back through the queue in shame to get out .first and last time using this place.

Excellent service. Polite and helpful staff member who explained everything clearly.

Carwash was great but immediately after leaving traction control and abs fault came on. Cost me more on repairs just for a clean car.

I purchased a ceramic wash via the app..... I attended the Coatbridge base yesterday and was turned away due to my Nissan fitted roof bars? I have been going to this car wash for a good while now, with my current car and previous cars, as well as my wife's cars, all of which have had roof bars at various points. I contacted customer services for a refund but still await a reply.... I will be cancelling my account as soon as this has been done.

Just a wee heads up for anybody that uses the attended car wash at the Faraday roundabout. Think it might be under new management. Used it today for the first time in a while as I usually go to the Airdrie or Cumbernauld branch. Car was covered in dead insects after a long drive up from England. Guy didn't do the usual clean of windscreen with the brush which is usually what they do in the situation. Anyway went through the car wash (£12 Ultra HD wash) and when finished got out to check car was done right & straighten wing mirror. Noticed that the dead insects hadn't been fully washed off the car & drove back round to the car wash entrance. Guy said "nothing he could do". I asked him why he hadn't used the brush on windscreen - "we can't do that". Guy said he would jet wash the insects off but that he would not put the car through the wash again (first time ever at this company they have refused to put the car through the wash again if it wasn't done right) & I'd have to reverse the car out the way when he'd finished. When I got home I checked the car again & discovered some paint had came off the front bumper - where he had went very close to with the jet wash. Contacted their head office who told me to go back & get an incident form. Did this and was shown extremely bad quality CCTV image of my car which was impossible to clearly see the area of damage. Whilst I was in the office I heard another customer complaining that their windscreen hadn't been cleaned properly with the brush.

The car wash in particular, located in Coatbridge, Scotland, seems to be a scam, to be more precise they don’t accept contactless payments for whatever reason, and they ask for cash but don’t provide a receipt with being asked for?? Suspicious.. alas when you ask for a receipt they hand fill in a bit of paper that does not prove anything, missing essential details from it.
