IMO Car Wash - Newport Avis 44

Car looked a lot better after being washed, but the water left some dirty stains where it dried, was expecting a better finish

Attendant not very friendly, did not pre wash or clean wheels despite me having ultra wash

Excellent service as always

The spray gun went wrong when they were pre-washing my car. I was not informed as to what was going to happen next, had to keep asking, and some nasty swear words were banded about the place. They set up emergency spray gun, which took about 15 min. I had said I would prefer a refund and go, but that option was not even considered. Normally, I am happy with the car wash service, which is why I am giving 2 stars, but this time the customer service was rather substandard - which is why I am subtracting the rest of them. Eventually, the car was washed, but I lost a half hour of my life on a (for me) busy day.

Car ends up dirtier than before you go. The smell of dirty, stagnant water is over powering when you are in the car wash. They are clearly recycling dirty water over and over again.

Avoid if you want your car clean.

Took my car in for a wash as the birds decided to leave some presents on my car and I didn't want it to have a chance to bake in. Arrived to be greeted by the most miserable looking staff member on the planet, he just grumbled something then scanned my quick pay QR code, the car was then washed, or so I thought, I got out the car wash and quickly pulled in by the vacuum, only to discover there was still bird droppings on the bonest and the wheels were only half cleaned, as a result looked worse than before as it now stood out. Unsure how this place can justify such high cost for such poor service.

Broke down with me in there. Didn’t get to finish off the cycle of the wash and dry so cars patchy and wasn’t offered another wash when fixed

Visited today. Won’t be back. Two men on duty. One was very nice but the other was rude and arrogant. I was friendly and polite when I asked for the wash option I wanted. The card reader was shoved in my face. I politely asked to see the screen on the reader. He got really rude and defensive saying he’d give me a receipt. Again, I stayed pleasant and said I was OK without a receipt, just wanted to see the screen before I tapped. He started ranting about me not trusting him - a) irrelevant, b) met him about 60 second before. I asked if he usually tapped his card without looking at the sum on the screen. He got quite nasty. Eventually showed me the screen and I paid. Awful attitude and service. I’ll be sticking with Maesglas branch in future.

Car wash closed for maintenance-need to put this on app as you have to book a specific location and would have chosen a different one

Nice and easy to use. The eco wash is also a pocket saver

Rude staff, paid for Ceramix XTR service and received half-assed service. Car still dirty afterwards. Definitely did not receive "Alloy Spa", "Body Wax", "Chassis Wax", or "Rain Guard".
Definitely will not be returning.

Not a good experience at all. I have paid online just before I went in. When I presented my code the man said the code is not valid and I need to pay again. I have refused it and after arguing with me for 5min he has washed the car but keep saying next time I should pay with him. Why do you advertise to pay online if you want payment at the sight!

Always use this car wash. I usually have the ultra HD wash & it’s well worth the money.

I’ve paid nearly £10 for a car wash that had failed to remove the bird poo. The assistant was friendly but I need the poo removed in full.
