IMO Car Wash - Reading Avis 60

Awful! Worst Car Wash I’ve ever had. Went for the ULTRA HD and it left my car all smeared in white stains when I got home! Will NOT be coming back

Visited for the first time and opted for the 'Ceramic XTR' wash as I made the mistake of parking under a tree. The staff were a bit on the rude side, but I don't expect amazing customer service at a car wash.

However, I do expect my car to be cleaned properly.

My car was sprayed down, rinsed off, and then put through the automatic car wash. That'll get all the bits they missed, surely?

Nope. By the time I'd passed through the car wash, there were still insect splatters on the windscreen, water marks on the mirrors, glass and paintwork, and the bird poo hadn't been fully washed off (which was the main reason I went there).

I looked for somewhere to park up and speak to staff, but there was nowhere I could go that wouldn't block other customers, and the valet bays were all full so I gave up and drove away. I don't think the staff would have cared anyway, as they'd already got my £20.

I won't bother coming back, and won't recommend this car wash to anybody.

The personal service the staff give you at this IMO Car Wash is exceptional.
My car always comes out gleaming and the staff attention to detail is second to none.

Best automatic car wash around. Well worth getting the App. Man in charge is a star.

Disappointing service. Watched the sequence of cars before me, however when they got to me I saw rushed half hearted service. Sure enough got home and found streaks, dust and leaves in crevices. All I wanted was a good clean outside! When i spoke to the chap who took payment...told him seems a very rushed job! His reply was they are busy! Won't be returning.

Great carwash, easy to use as staff guide you through, plenty of options to choose from. The use of the app makes it super easy

First time using IMO car wash and I was a bit confused, ended up paying separately for the drive thru then interior! Lovely guy apologized gave me a discount plus another for next time!!!

Car was cleaner but by no means really clean, for instance it was still dirty around the boot edge and handle.

The app is really flakey

Quick efficient and always make sure it’s a good clean wash, always happy to give the last little wipe down if the machine has missed a bit…

I don’t think I got the wash I paid for. I paid £11 for Total Wax, but the machinery kept stopping, effectively trapping each car between the brushes, and having to be restarted. The sign displayed Eco Plus as I went through and I don’t remember seeing any soap at all. I was not informed of the problem beforehand.

Pre-paid bundle - arrived early in day (just after 8:30), no queue, straight into wash. Experience always excellent as long as the wash is actually open! When it's not, there's no way of checking beforehand, then it's 0-1 stars...

Always go here can’t fault them.
