Great price and excellent service

I really shopped around for our four new column radiator and TRVs. Inspired Heating were able to offer the best price match and Jo was really helpful with help and advice. One radiator was delivered from Italy with scraped paint and Tim sorted out a replacement without an issue. I would definitively use this company again.

Available online. Out of stock and no warning

Bought 4 units. A week later they were supposed to arrive. Nothing. Emailed them asking what happened. Only then I was informed they were out if stock. WHY DID THEY HAD THEM AVAILABLE ON THEIR WEBSITE??? AND WHY DIDN'T THEY INFORM ME??? This is the kind of stuff that ensures customer will NOT buy from them again. Talking about BAD customer service! Avoid

Hi Nuno, I am sorry you were not happy with our service. We, like the vast majority of suppliers are reliant on stock being delivered direct from Heatmiser to our end customers. Unfortunately Heatmiser have had issues with supply and this has been somewhat sporadic. We had your order on the 25th Feb and advised you of the delay a few working days later. I am also aware one of the floor probes was missing on your delivery which again was a picking error at Heatmiser but as soon as you advised us of this issue we resolved it within a couple of working days. I apologise again for any issues and sorry for the delay receiving your goods.

My experience with this company is GREAT!

My experience with this company is excellent. I bought radiators in the past few years and they always delivered a great service. Two years ago I had a problem with a valve and they sort it out immediately, no fuss, extreme flexibility, I was amazed for the speed and the excellent customer service. For the last one they made sure I was at home, the delivery Graham, man called me, I did not have network so the head office called me too for the delivery. He remembered my previous deliveries and he has a customer service absolutely marvellous. The only thing I would like to receive is the invoice as an attachment so that I can save on my computer.
I strongly advice this company and this is the reason I go back all the time to buy from them. Sorry if it took me few years to leave this review.

I would like to add that generally I am a fussy customer therefore when I give five stars is because they really deserve them.

PERFECT from start to finish

Wrote 4 or 5 Emails for quotes for Gledhill Hot water cylinder with associated parts and only 1 company replied(the following day)Inspired Heating. Over a week later still no other replies. Looked on website and so easy to use. Pick the cylinder you want and a list of associated parts appear and you can easily choose the parts you require. Placed order and received Email order confirmed. Next day received text from Inspired Heating. "Thank you for order" and given a delivery date. Couple of days before delivery received text update to re-confirm delivery date. Item arrived midday on date given. Thank you Kathryn and Tim a pleasure from start to finish. Easy to use Website, definitely recommend and will use again.

The wrong product was delivered, poor customer service.

The wrong product has been delivered (white radiator instead of black). I didn’t check the product at the reception of the parcel as I am refurbishing a house and receive dozens of deliveries. When I noticed the radiator was wrong, Inspired Heating said it was notified more than 3 days after the delivery and couldn’t do anything (the product was installed by the plumber but the not connected to the system, no water in). I appreciate mistakes can happen, and I will live with the wrong colour but as it was the most expensive radiator I purchased for the house I would have appreciated a better customer service. Therefore, would not recommend Inspired Heating or their Tubular manufacturer.

Hello Maximilien, We asked you to check goods on delivery and report any damages/shortages or indeed wrong items delivered within 3 working days so we can resolve issues like this straight away.
Unfortunately you took a couple of months to report the wrong colour rad had been delivered and also that you/your installer had actually fitted it. I am afraid our supplier/manufacturer will not accept goods back once installed and this would have been the same wherever you had originally purchased the radiator from. I am sorry but you and your installer could quite easily see if this was a white or black radiator and if you had followed the agreed process which you also agreed to do at point of purchase we could have resolved this some months ago. I appreciate your frustration but feel you and your installer must take a large part of responsibility for this error. We do all we can to advise and request goods are checked and again if this had been done on delivery all of this issue could have been avoided. Kind regards Tim - Inspired Heating

Misleading Delivery Costs

When you advertise a radiator with a delivery charge of £6 +VAT but with an additional surcharge of £15 +VAT due to the product then that is acceptable.

To then take the order and phone 2 days later expecting me to pay a further £48 due to location is extremely poor service. How many surcharges do you want to add?

The reason is due to the 'remote' location - just off the M8 motorway in between Glasgow and Edinburgh. Screwfix managed to deliver two radiators for free last week to this 'remote' location.

I paid £30 for a 1 ton pallet of slate chippings to be delivered from Yorkshire a few months ago. You want £73.20 to deliver a radiator that only costs £82.80.

First and last time dealing with a company like this.

Hello Derek, I am sorry you are unhappy with the charges but these are all noted in our terms and conditions you agreed to at point of sale. We have a minimum order value of £100.00 ex vat so this relates to the £6.00 you were charged. With regard to the Ultraheat delivery charge we separate out this as it is one charge imposed by the manufacture per consignment. We feel it is fairer to separate out this charge rather than building it in to each radiator so customers only pay once if ordering more than one rad.
With regard to your location in Scotland we again state in the Terms and Conditions additional charges may be imposed to your location. I am sorry again you are unhappy regarding the charges imposed but we do state all of this information on our site which you agreed to at checkout.

False advertising

They advertise something they can't supply ,they will take your money and leave you without refund until unit is returned like they don't trust you even though you trusted them with you money, I would definitely don't recommend them AT ALL 👎👎👎

Hello Dewi, I am sorry you are unhappy with your order but I understand my colleague explained to you that the manufacture no longer supply the product you required and they offered an alternative you did not want. We advised as soon as the product delivered direct from Firebird to you was returned to them a refund would be offered. I am afraid it is not a trust issue but as I am sure you appreciate the manufacturer will not issue us a credit note until they have the goods back. great company

I was ordering from them after being let down by another company, in future I will come here first. They called me on the phone straight away to inform me of a stock issue, persisted to get through to me when the phone line was bad, and were very helpful. Offered solutions and I agreed to wait for a restock of the item I was after, it arrived much sooner than anticipated, thanks for your help.

Great aftercare!

I purchased a number of column radiators from IH earlier last year when everywhere was in complete lockdown.

They arrived promptly and well packaged. I spent a vast amount of money refurbishing my home and therefore it was unfortunate that one of the radiators developed a fault with a hole appearing in the top of a 'column'.

Having called IH, they requested a photo which I sent, and followed up with a replacement that was sent within the same week, and have arranged for the faulty radiator to be collected too.

Based on my experience, I thoroughly recommend, as it's always a concern as to how you will be treated when you need issues to be resolved.

Beware of Pitacs Products

I will start by saying that much of this review relates to the poor aftercare from Pitacs however Inspired Heating was the reseller and it is important for other potential customers to understand the implications of purchasing from certain brands. I recently contacted Pitacs via Inspired Heating regarding the catastrophic failure of two Aeon Twister radiators I had fitted in my home as part of a kitchen renovation in 2015. I was taken aback by the complete lack of empathy and interest shown by Pitacs, demonstrating that the 20-year guarantee has no effect whatsoever in terms of protecting the customer after the sale. I thoroughly detailed the circumstances surrounding the failure of the units, one of which had burst off the wall and fallen to the floor, and the effect that it had on my home including furniture damage, significant cost and disruption with the need to open the wall and replace pipework, and the inability to heat my home over Christmas. I canvassed the opinion of the kitchen installer and plumber who agreed the units were twisted/contorted and that this would make reaffixing the units securely and ‘water tight’ almost impossible. These are not circumstances I expected to be left in after paying almost £2.5k for them only 5 years ago.

I asked Pitacs to invoke the 20-year guarantee as the radiators had been affixed securely to a dwang on the outside of the plasterboard, in excess of their own fitting guidelines. Having received the curt and factually incorrect response to the effect that the units must have been fitted incorrectly, I asked for a representative to visit my property to view the radiators and the wall/mounting. I expected a proper assessment before any arbitrary decision to ‘wash their hands’ of the matter. As consumers, we are aware that in many situations unscrupulous companies will seek to deny or invalidate a guarantee to save cost but I am truly shocked on this occasion. Their conclusion that ‘therefore unfortunately we cannot accept liability on the grounds of the radiator being mounted without the adequate reinforcements needed for the size and weight of this radiator’ is entirely erroneous. It defies logic that Pitacs could come to this conclusion without having made any enquiries as to the actual means by which the radiators were mounted! This lack of enquiry and rush to deny liability is further testimony to the fact that the Pitacs guarantee is simply a marketing gimmick and is not a genuine attempt to protect the consumer. I have since found a reseller who advises that 'Please take care when fitting to plasterboard walls as the Twisters can pull on some brackets whilst pushing against others. Due to the nature of the design under high temperature the product can try to straighten itself out’. No such warning is evident either on the Pitacs website or the Inspired Heating website. Despite this, my plumber and joiner worked together at installation to ensure the radiators were affixed securely due to their size and weight. Not only did we not attempt to affix the Twisters to the plasterboard but a custom-made MDF board was affixed to the wall to try to ensure a completely secure fixing. I cannot begin to see how this can be viewed as inadequate as it goes well beyond the Pitacs own fitting instructions. The Pitacs fitting instructions clearly do not go far enough to describe to the customer the ‘pulling force’ of the radiators and the precautions that should be taken as a result. I now have two radiators that are skewed and do not sit straight on the wall.

It is unacceptable that Pitacs should deny a reasonable claim without any investigation. These radiators were fitted as part of a high cost kitchen installation with the best of professionals and I remain firmly of the opinion that these units are not fit for purpose. I have a kitchen installer, and joinery and plumbing firm representatives who will testify to the secure nature of the fixings and their shock that this has occurred. I cannot contemplate that Pitacs would take such a cavalier approach to their own stated warranty. Yet again the consumer has to bear the brunt of poor workmanship and ineffective aftercare; my last e-mail and voicemail message to Ianessa at Pitacs explaining the above remains entirely unanswered.

Great expereince

Really good experience with this company today. They had competitive prices for radiators and accessories. But what stood out was the customer service on their live chat. Jo talked me through many of the variables involved in buying a radiator and took time to answer my many questions.

Avoid!

Bought a Very expensive infrared mirror electric radiator back in February, had it installed by a trusted qualified electrician, looked good and all was going well.... Last week turned it on and approximately 5 min later heard a low boom sound followed by the sound of breaking glass. Went into hall way to discover the whole front had shattered... Emailed Inspired and was told to contact their suppliers. They told me to contact Inspired... You get the picture. Anyway, was accused of breaking it myself and they were not going to do anything about it. Truly AWFUL customer service. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS... 😤😤😤😤
Follow on.- Inspired have replied to this review.... The radiator had not been hit by anything. It was also installed by a qualified electrician with many years experience that had previously re wired most of our house with absolutely no problems. The radiator was not "over tightened". It shattered in my opinion due to being a poor product....

Hello Scott, We do not appear to have an order from yourself but have had a reported issue from a Miss OLGA (Surname Withheld) who advised her radiator had failed. This was reported to our supplier who stated the probable reason was due to an error on installation. This particular radiator which has a glass front has quite specific mounting instructions and the connection to the wall must not be tightened to allow expansion of the product. Failure to follow these instructions will lead to the issue reported. We forwarded on this reply to Olga and asked for her comments but did give our suppliers details if she wanted to discuss this directly with the them. We have not received a response directly back from Olga following our response via the supplier. Due to the nature of this product and the specific installation instructions our supplier will not replace this radiator if installed incorrectly. Obviously being a glass product it would fail if impacted but as you state no one was in the room then an installation error would appear to be the issue.
I am still not sure who you are and as previously mentioned we do not have any orders from yourself. We have sold many of these products and to date have only had very satisfied customers. I am sorry you, your partner or customer have had an issue with a glass radiator but I am not aware of one just shattering on its own without a cause and this as previously advised would be from an impact or due to being installed incorrectly.

Fantastic Customer Service - Recommended

I was searching online for a certain type of designer radiator. I went on inspired heating website just doing a search when the ‘live chat’ box appeared. I asked a few questions and got honest informed answers.
I decided, due to the good customer advice I received that I would place an order with them.
Radiator delivered within 2 days.
