Intercruises have changed their pick up points which meant we incurred either a £145 taxi or £80 hotel stay. Ridiculous and limited. Our return journey from S/hampton was provided by Sills coaches.... Voir plus

No Reply to Request

Sent an online request re transport for a future P&O cruise. 2 weeks later still waiting for a reply. Shocking customer service. If this is P&O’s chosen partner, I suggest they use their influence to improve.

Bad attitude

Driver on the way home had a bad attitude, note to Intercruise coach drivers: if you don't like your job find something else, lifes too short!

Intercruises Coach Experiences

Both myself and my Wife have used Intercruises Coach Transfers to P&O ships for a number of years now. From Abergele in north Wales to Southampton. The Drivers are always polite and cant do enough for you. We have also had excellent service from the booking team to the actual transfers. Many Thanks Ian.

Im not sure about all the negative reviews!

Im not sure about all the negative reviews BUT we have used cruise connect twice from Liverpool and they have been very good...drivers were all nice and helpful and nice coaches,and they are in contact with ship which is a nice touch to relax about time

Is there anyone there ??

This company leaves you hanging on the phone for hour after hour without any idea of the wait time or the length of the queue. I am not sure that anyone is actually working in the call centre and it’s a ploy to just get you to lose the will to live and hang up the phone .
this is our first encounter with them and they have not made a very favourable impression

Please do not use this company

Due to concerns about the timings of our booked service in order to arrive at Southampton in time for check in I decided to cancel our Intercruises booking and find an alternative. I have now sent 4 emails to cancel all of which have been ignored. I have also tried to telephone with no success. Please do not use this company as they are obviously dishonest.

If I could give a minus star i would

If I could give a minus star i would. We booked 4 seats from Cardiff to Southampton months ago to meet the sky princess cruise but inter cruise have cancelled the coach saying not enough passengers. They seem to have cancelled coaches all over the UK and do so regularly! Will definitely not be using them in the future.

Booked Intercruise to Southampton to join Sky Princess on 31st May. When I booked a few weeks ago I was assured the coach would definately run, as last year Intercruise cancelled our journey at short notice. I was apprehensive but they said there wouldn’t be a problem as they had enough passengers already to make it viable for them to run the coach. So we were definitely upset when they rang a couple of days ago and told us our 4 seats were cancelled. We had booked a hotel the night before we joined the coach and since we were told the journey would definately go ahead we chose the cheaper, no refund, option for the hotel. That was 2 rooms and nearly £180 lost. Apparently all passengers in the North of England and Scotland that had booked with Intercruise were cancelled.surely they could have put a smaller coach on for us. We eventually found another mode of transport to get to Southampton, I won’t be using that company again, they are too unreliable.

Coach cancelled
Owing to a low number of people booking, they cancelled the coach (for Sky Princess on 26/4/25),
leaving me in a real predicament.
I will NEVER use this company again. They are totally unreliable and only have one aim - profit.
Beware of this company.

Bus issues
Floor seat track cover rubbers not fixed causing trip hazard
Overhead lockers did not remain open took 2 hands and passengers had to help one and other one got fingers jammed
Oldest bus in the fleet probably with jerky automatic gearbox
17 plate on the road works on the M74 the bus nearly shook itself to bits
Both my wife and l have bad backs now worse thanks!
Poorest WiFi driver said it was poor on this bus
Unable to listen to Spotify or watch a movie
Essential in a 10 to 12 hr journey
Outward journey was great all well
Seats out to accommodate wheelchair access
No wheelchair asses required on the journey
Seats bunched up reduced leg room
Little cool air at the rear
I did ask the driver for cooler air most likely poor AC was the reply
All for the discomfort of the furthest away passengers from Southampton
Britannia cruise in September bus broke down took 4 hours to get fixed just outside Southampton
Inspection required at the end of the toll road for another hour
We have travelled by coach since October 2002 average 3 cruises per year mostly Eavesway far superior
Sadly no longer available from Scotland
Appears that going home is of little importance and lacks customer focus
Strategy and planning poor
The big concern is the 6th June on Britannia for 2 weeks………
To advise l have a few passengers email address to feed back
James Ellis replied to our complaint calling us a word l do not use l would say we were grossly not true about our journey experience despite he wasn’t on the bus
The reply was a cut and paste reputation management without substance who clearly doesn’t read trust pilot
If l could have give nil star l would however you need to give one to gain access to complete which is flawed in itself

I chose to be collected from the…Holiday inn Lancaster

I chose to be collected from the Holiday Inn At Lancaster at 6.00am. Stayed the night at the hotel as we live in the Lake District, waited in reception for coach but when it arrived it parked at a bus stop at the top of the drive, I am 84 years old my wife has a walking disability, driver explained that he was not allowed to enter car park. We then had a drivers rest stop at Keele services for 45 minute on return to coach we were informed that we would have to wait an additional 5-10 minutes for a parcel collection , we waited an additional 35 minutes. On the return journey the coach had no leg room and made it almost impossible for my wife to sit with any comfort at all (photos can be provided). The journey was altered and a change from the drop off at the Trickle Trout hotel we ventured into Preston bus station adding a further 30 minutes to the journey, the WiFi had extremely poor reception I eventually gave up. It took 10 minutes to find our luggage which was on the wrong side of the coach as it had to be unloaded on the pavement side once again unloaded at the bus stop. The port tours are very expensive and not helpful for disabled. As a diamond cruiser with Cunard I will never use Cunard or any cruise company that use Intercruise.

We have been using Inter cruises for a number of years now.
I got an email today saying that the pickup point is changing. No explanation why at all.
I sail in June and we had booked a night prior to travel at the hotel at the pick-up point. I had also paid for two weeks parking.
I am disabled and had booked an adapted room for our one night stay.
The new pick-up point was further away from our original pick-up point.
Unfortunately all rooms were now booked up at the hotel at the new pick-up point and I couldn't stay the night before.
This would now mean a very expensive taxi journey on the morning of the pick-up day from home to Rivington Services.
However as our coach starts it's journey from Blackpool, we looked into booking an adapted room at the hotel where the Blackpool pick-up was.
No problem at all, we could cancel our existing hotel and book the new hotel with 2 weeks parking with Premier Inn.
Out of courtesy I called Inter Cruise to explain we would be joining the same coach a stop in front of the original one.
I was told I couldn't do this, unless I put it in writing that I want to cancel my original booking, then rebook the journey again but from Blackpool.
I was then told there will be a cancellation fee of 20% and I wouldn't receive a full refund.
I can't believe it, something as simple as changing the location on a computer screen to our new pick-up point.
This was a contract between myself and Inter Cruise and they have changed it not me.
As for ringing them, they never answer the phone or reply to emails.
What are your thoughts on this ?

Had to change our Cruise dates

Had to change our Cruise dates, due to expected birth of grandchild, changed with P&O with no problem, but when I wanted to amend my coach journey I was told I had to cancel and then book again, downside is I only got 80% of my booking back because it was cancelled even though I only wanted to amend it, you used to be able to change it without a charge now since COVID, poor excuse, it has changed

Poor customer service and change of pickup point.

Four and a half days before departure they change the pickup point to over a mile away, the complete opposite side of the city. As a disabled person I had booked a hotel right next to the pickup point. I would now need a rush hour taxi through a busy city center to make the pickup. I recieved only an email despite Intercruise saying they had tried to ring me (no missed calls or vpicemail). They simply blamed the city council for the move and would not grant my simple request of a refund of the price of a taxi. The Christmas market that is apparently forcing the change of destination has been planned all year, so changing the pickup point a few days before is completely down to Intercruise.

Brilliant service

Usually drive to Southampton but decided to use coach transfers for our recent P & O Iona cruise. Our experience was first class both ways and inter cruises were efficient when sorting booking out. Got to say Acklams the coach company they used from drivers to comfort of coaches deserves a mention all excellent.Wouldn’t hesitate to use again 😁

My wife and I have fond memories of…

My wife and I have fond memories of Cape Verde, largely because of the island tour we took with a young lady, Elba Carvalho. We appreciated knowing the historical nature of the island, the island culture, and many other things. As we neared the conclusion of the tour, Elba sang a beautiful song, Sodade. I've heard the song before and learned that Cesaria Evora, the artist most known for that song, is a Cape Verdean.. It was the perfect way to end a wonderful day.

No Room - coach full !!!!!

Glad most of these reviews are rubbish looks like we had a lucky escape - the rule of booking 35 days in advance is ridiculous - no room on coach I was told cause left it too late 《my fault i suppose》even though money was paid well in advance - not been on cruise yet but certainly wont be using P & O again - stick to flying !!!

We used this company for the first time…

We used this company for the first time last year to travel from Hilton Park Services to Southampton. Everything was perfect so we decided to use them again for the same journey on 1st September 2024. When we arrived at the services, the coach was already there. We were the last couple to get on. It was a football coach with seats facing forwards and backwards, tables and a kitchen area. It had started from Edinburgh at 2.00 am, picked up at Glasgow and other stops. The driver asked us to wait as he had to check there was room for us. There were just 2 seats left, one near the front and one near the back facing backwards. Neither of us travel well, especially backwards. My husband took that seat but was very uncomfortable as his legs kept bumping the lady he was facing. He is 6ft tall. It OK if you know these people but he didn't. Of course we had hoped to sit together as we had taken travel sweets, a drink etc to have on the way. The driver was annoyed at having been allocated this entirely unsuitable coach for a 12 hour journey.
The return trip was fine. We arrived at our destination an hour early.

A glimmer of hope for future travellers 😉

Honestly, I can't find a bad thing to say about them. Was around a 5 hour trip for us from Wooley Edge services near Barnsley to Southampton. There was just one other couple getting picked up after us from Northampton and we had a 45 minute break when we reached there for food etc anyway.

The coaches were clean and tidy. The toilets worked both there and back and were clean. The driver both there and back seemed very professional, dressed in suits and both were polite to the riders and kept us updated with all that we needed.

The coaches were on time on both occasions and got us to our destination in good time, despite some curve balls being thrown in on the way back with part of the motorway being shut (luckily the driver knew a shortcut and it only extended the trip by about 40 minutes, which was long but not as bad as it could have been!!).

The only fault I found was that with the second coach, the seats seemed a bit hard and my bum had cramp after around the two hour mark 😂 but that's probably more to do with the extra few pounds I put on during our cruise than it is the coach!!

Only other slight fault I can find is that the phone lines do take a while to connect. Both occasions that I had to ring, I was on hold for maybe around 20 - 30 minutes. The people that answered were nice, so it's a shame they don't have more staff working the phones as I know some people might struggle to hold for that long. I had to ring back to make some amendments to our booking as one of the passengers names was wrong, and it was dealt with professionally.

Overall, I think we had a great experience and would use intercruises again. It's a shame other people haven't had the same smooth experience.

Royal Caribbean is my cruise line for…

Royal Caribbean is my cruise line for 10/5. Intercruise round trip transportation ends at 12 Noon when cruise leaves at 4PM. Transportation end time should end in the middle which should be around 2PM. This transportation sucks now I have to take Uber. Never again.
