Invictus Active Avis 201

The freewheel i purchased has been the best piece of equipment with my wheelchair for my independence and freedom. I have had no serious faults with the equipment itself and I have put it through a lot… (in a good way). I also bought one of the indoor trainers, it too has been amazing, slightly expensive and I am still paying it off however given the lack of alternatives I think it is great. I have only 1 small point that takes away from 5 stars. In an email thread I got most the way to solving a problem and then the emails for some reasons ceased. I managed to put together the last bits with problem solving to reach the solution myself.

Invictus is a great company selling amazing products for wheelchair users. They are responsive and easy to work with!!

They provide all wheelchair and fitness equipment you need at a good price. In addition the staff are very knowledgeable and offer technical support. They're always my first choice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful when going through the process of deciding on which wheelchair and what additions to make etc. It was also very invaluable to speak with Scott as he is a full-time wheelchair user and was able to get important and useful knowledge from him when deciding between rigid and folding chairs, and also what to be looking for as I was a first time wheelchair buyer at that time. I am relatively happy with my choice, however I have had issues with certain parts of my chair that I'm unsure I can get help with. The post buying communication is very lacking, and there needs to be more of a follow up on how we are doing with our chairs, and what they could do to help make things easier or better for us, such as after care, which is not something I or my partner (who has been mostly communicating on my behalf) have received.

As a first time wheelchair user since earlier this year, it's been hard having to navigate all the difficulties that come with being a wheelchair user by myself. Had some very slow, inconsistent communications throughout the year. The wheelchair handover date was delayed a bit, and also the free off-road wheels took around 2 - 3 months to turn up after chasing up on multiple occasions. Overall, their prices seemed better than a lot of competitors, and they have a good range of options, it's just the follow on /after care and communications for me personally that need big improvements, as I've had to struggle with certain things not feeling right.

My experience with invictus was great start to finish. I bought an ex display wheelchair from them, so I had a lot of questions as I wanted to make sure it would fit me properly before I made such a big purchase. The team were absolutely fantastic, very responsive over email, and even sent me a video of the chair and talking through the details so I could get a better look at it.

Once it shipped it arrived incredibly quickly, and in perfect condition. I will 100% shop with invictus again and would recommend to others as well.

I purchased a self funded manual wheelchair with Invictus Active. Chris did a great job measuring me and walking through the options within my budget, and their financing helped me afford it. The consideration for my grip and mobility challenges meant I got the right chair and push rims. Great experience and I will use Invictus Active again in the future.

These guys were terrific. I travelled to Birmingham for their event, to try out various power attachments for my manual chair. They were super helpful without ever being sales-y. Really laid back and friendly. Highly recommended.

My partner and I visited Invictus Active in search for an active wheelchair for her earlier in the year.

The communication over phone and email was really good and we were able to view various popular models, and after some testing and measuring we settled on a Rehasense Icon60 with some customization.

The whole team were really great to deal with and we were happy with the process, though getting the chair was slightly longer than we expected (1-2 weeks more) but my partner was overall satisfied with her choice.

A brilliant company. Dedicated and helpful on the phone. Purchased a free wheel. Easy to assemble following the telephone discussion at the point of order. Just brilliant I love going out for a run! Great product!
