James Bell Landscape Photography Avis

Scafell Glow was purchased out of remembrance for a much loved, dearly missed relative who was a devoted walker and supporter of the Lake District. After his ashes were scattered on Great End we wanted something which we could keep at home as a reminder of his final resting place. The light when this image was taken is so beautiful that when looking at this print and knowing he’s up there, it does feel as though my father in law is keeping watch on his beloved mountains.

Holme Fell and the Herdwick prints were collected along the way for different reasons but equally treasured.

James isn’t just a Lake District photographer, the connection people make with his work is truly special and something he should be very proud of.

Really quick delivery.

Excellent service. Ordered one day, delivered the next!

Another great collection for 2023 - Arrived in Perth WA on 22/12 - Thanks James!

Beautiful print, bought at the last minute! Fabulous customer service….James posted it special delivery and it arrived in time for Christmas! Great communication throughout, and super pleased with the print. Would definitely buy again, but will try to be more organised next time so I can get it framed as well!

Thanks again James for a stunning photo to add to our collection. A beautiful photo over Derwent Water of Causy Pike in full autumnal glory! Packaged with the greatest of care and postage was incredibly fast, especially considering the the amount of issues surrounding the post at the moment. Thank you, I’m sure my husband will love his Christmas gift.

James Bell is super talented and captures the wonders of Lakeland so perfectly - we always look forward to the calendar which is a highlight. Prints are also fabulous and welcome the expert advise that James is happy to give if ever asked :-) fantastic - thank you.

Excellent! High quality pictures and speedy delivery.

Great calendar with wonderful Lakeland photography, I buy one every year.

Book was well packed and had a complimentary Calendar thank you so much. My father in law will love it on Christmas Day

Bit disappointed in the quality and finish of the photos. Images themselves were nice.

I have not had time to really look at the calendar. I am sure the pictures are to your usual high standard.

And I HATE writing reviews.

My sister is going to be very happy with her calendar. Three day delivery-fantastic service

Thank you so much James for another wonderful calendar. I was going to tell you which picture I like best, but they are all so brilliant I am unable to choose a favourite!
Best wishes for 2023, Valerie Gallop

Some nice views of the lakes. Many are different from the normal views

James is a brilliant landscape photographer!
His photos all manage to have a vary natural look, without the use of strong colour filters or starburst filters (which I personally do not like).

He has a natural eye for what makes photos stand out, but then again; he is lucky to have such a wonderful landscape on his doorstep!

Always excellent service with updates about delivery.
And as usual the photos in the calendar are beautiful. My husband has it in his office and does not look at any of the photos until the first day of the relevant month!

Easy ordering, delivered as promised, excellent product - just what you expect from James.
