Justin's method got me started but more importantly kept me improving. As an older student I can't thank the community that Justin's developed enough nor recommend this method it works. Still blows my mind it's free.

Excellent variety of lessons. A great way to begin guitar and remains v helpful whatever level you reach.

Fantastic website and one of the very best learning resources on the Internet. The lessons are very clear, well paced and structured. You will have a real sense of making progress working through Justin's lessons. I've gone from a complete beginner at the age of 45 to playing lead guitar in a band. Don't feel that the materials are lower quality for being freely available, I've seen subscription services of a significantly lower standard.

The real recommendation? I've been a teacher for 30 years and mentor students and new teachers as part of my role. I regularly use Justin's lessons as examples of excellent subject teaching.

I found Justin's approach to teaching the most valuable on the whole internet, as it has a clear structure which you can follow along easily. And it's free if you want - the additional products to purchase aren't essential but probably helpful (I didn't try them). I love the philosophy of making guitar lessons available to people of all income levels! I picked up the guitar again after 4 decades, still on mid beginner level, and I feel supported and motivated all the way. Can't recommend it enough!!

Justin is simply a great guitar teacher. He gives so much for free and everything is so clearly explained. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Justin Guitar lessons are fantastic. They are very clear and easy to follow and there are masses of great songs you can try at the level you are at. I started learning guitar after I retired, which was challenging, but Justin's website kept me motivated. His purchasable song books are also great. I highly recommend.

I've been using Justin's site for last 5/6 years. Such a great site and best one personally i've found online.
He has so much free material, as well as courses ,Apps,+ free lessons online you can join in.
I've learnt so much from Justin and currently working my way through the awesome "Solo blues course" on Acoustic guitar .

Very accessible site, easily navigated and full of educational content. Detailed courses, well described and easy to follow technical instructions helped me move forward and find motivation at a point of stagnation.

I found justinguitar late in life. Until then I had been what is called a "three cord wonder" I made quite a leap forward until arthritis in the hands took hold. So I am once again a three cord wonder. Still enjoying it. For anyone starting out on guitar, you will get no better than justinguitar.

I used Justin's website about 15 years back on my first foray into learning guitar. I was so happy that upon returning to learn earlier this year that the site is still rocking! It's bigger and better and IMO the best resource for beginners. AND ITS FREE!!
I have paid for the lessons app - mainly as a thank you to J and the team - but it isn't necessary all the resources are FREE. It's a no brainer give it a go if you want to learn from scratch or improve your theory and eat training.

Best on line song selection and always the correct one.
