Had my sofa delivered today by KC sofa's and the lads were second to none, unpacked my sofa on the drive and flattened all the cardboard for me, assembled the sofa and showered me how to disassemble if required, 1st class service wel done Tyler, Kami & Nath 👍👏👏

From entering their shop in Castleford you could tell that they were good at what they sell. Answered any questions that we had. From start to instalation friendly & helpful. Wo8ld highly recommend this company if your looking for a new suite.

Great experience. Our first time using KC Sofas. Friendly sales assistant in the furniture store and the delivery chaps were great and really friendly too. A perfect service all round. Much better than the larger franchise stores. Previous bad experience with those led us to use this smaller local business. It was the best decision.

7 month old sofa broke. £80 to look at it
My elderly disabled father bought a sofa for £2000. A reclining one. Beautiful sofa, however seven months later it broke. We rang the no and were told we would need to pay £80 for someone to simply look at it and then they would decide if it had broken or if we had broken it. (Disabled pensioner remember!!!) so I went into the shop to ask if this was true. Was told absolutely not and here was a no to call. Called the no to be told it’s £80 check your terms and conditions. (Bear in mind. The sales staff didn’t even know about this charge!) so I looked at the terms and conditions to which it says in small print a £40 charge to look at it.
It’s a seven month old sofa used by one elderly man who can’t walk very well. Mis sold and then lied to.
The sofa has now been looked at by someone else and you can clearly see it isn’t our fault it’s broken. My dad is past trying to get this complaint to do anything more. Disappointed and I wouldn’t waste your money here. Dfs has a better post sale policy.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your father has been disappointed, particularly as this relates to a reclining sofa that is clearly important for his comfort. I can confirm that this was reported to KC Sofas in March 2025.
At KC Sofas, we always aim to support our customers should any issue arise. Where concerns are reported after the initial six-month period, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 places the responsibility on the customer to demonstrate that a fault is due to a manufacturing defect. In situations where the cause of an issue is unclear from photos or initial information, we arrange for an independent technician to inspect the furniture.
To cover the cost of this third-party inspection, we request a holding fee. This fee is fully refundable if the technician confirms a manufacturing fault, and we then proceed to resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
We would like to clarify the confusion regarding the £40 / £80 amount mentioned. At the time of your father’s purchase in June 2024, the applicable holding fee was £40. This was later increased due to rising external service costs. We apologise for any confusion caused, as our customer service team were basing the price from the new updated T&Cs, but we are, of course, happy to honour the original £40 fee applicable at the time of purchase.
We are sorry that you feel misled — that is never our intention. Our team directed you to Customer Services to ensure you received the correct information under our terms and conditions, and we aim to treat all customers consistently and fairly.

Steve was very informative about the furniture that is for sale, go out of there way to be helpful, friendly and polite, also the delivery was earlier than expected which I was happy about and delivered by Tyler, Nathan and Sam who were also polite, helpful and really nice people. First and foremost , KC Sofas are helpful , friendly and go out of their way to make you feel special . Im visually impaired and didn't know what i wanted or what sofa would fit in my new property . I left after buying exactly what I had imagined my to new sofa to be . It fits very well in my new flat , thank you 😊 The delivery was on time , the guys were extremely helpful and friendly . They made light work of making up my sofa again thank you . KCSofas are highly recommended, I personally wouldn't go anywhere else . ☆☆☆☆☆
