Kip Hideaways is the ideal place to completely switch off and unwind. We had an incredible stay - the lodge is beautifully designed and fully equipped with everything you could need. The views are stunning, and watching the sunset by the fire felt truly magical. I’d definitely recommend it and would love to return. 😊

Our experience was extremely disappointing at the The Rapids Cottage, particularly as this was meant to be a much-needed break that we had almost not been able to take, and it was also a birthday gift for my husband.

We drove approximately three hours to the property, only to find that the photos on the website were misleading—especially regarding the key features such as the outdoor cinema and hot tub. In addition, there was no prior mention of the difficult and potentially dangerous access road, which added unnecessary stress to the journey.

On arrival, the property itself was cold, with only enough firewood provided for what appeared to be a single use, which was not adequate given the conditions. The accommodation was also situated among other residential cottages, and the atmosphere on arrival was uncomfortable, with some residents appearing unfriendly regarding parking.

Unfortunately, the main features did not meet the standard we expected. We also felt that communication following our concerns involved a degree of deflection rather than resolution. As a result, we stayed for no more than 20 minutes before deciding to leave and drive all the way back home, feeling very let down.

While we did not expect a full refund, the compensation offered did not even cover our fuel costs. This was particularly disheartening, and it is disappointing to have to write this review at all.

We hope that Kip Hideaways will take this feedback seriously—by providing more accurate representations of their properties, including clearer details about access and surroundings—and offer fair compensation in situations like this.

It was exactly what we wanted! an isolated space for just the two of us to recharge and reconnect. Everything you need is right there, and exactly where is needs to be for a fully relaxing experience

We had the best experience booking through Kip and staying in the Studio on Skye. It was the perfect place to come back to after a day walking and was so peaceful and quiet. Hosts were fab too and very friendly.

We stayed at Little Pembroke which is a delightful split level property with the most magnificent views to St Michael's Mount. A small hamper of essentials was left for us, which was great, along with fresh cut flowers. The property certainly met our expectations and we would definitely recommend

We had a great stay at Hop Pickers Cottage near Ludlow. The quality and ambience of the accommodation was superb. The location was quiet and peaceful, but within easy driving distance of many lovely places such as Ludlow and Hereford. The hosts attention to detail regarding information and support was second to none. A first class experience.

I've stayed at two different Kip hideaways so far, and both have been fabulous. Great quality, easy to book and to contact the owners, and was given all the information I needed beforehand. Would highly recommend!

The stay we booked was exactly as described. Very high quality, which we'd hoped for but not expected.

Enjoyed our weekend but needed to chase to get details for arrival etc as this property is owned and maintained by a third party. Check in 4pm and Check out 10am which we thought was rather late for checking in and checking out considering the high daily cost. Loved the location and the facilities were spot on. Would recommended this property for a relaxing weekend in a beautiful part of the world.

It’s a beautiful little cottage, in a great location. It has everything you need, with the added extra of a gorgeous free standing bath in the bedroom.

Website full of beautifully curated stays, good contact from Kip, easy to use. Would recommend.

We had a great two night stay, the cabin was very comfortable and was very well decorated and finished, the location was peaceful. Would recommend to anyone trying to escape the busy lives we all lead.
