Nicholas advised me on an amalgamation case in Westminster and led the entire process - all communications with the Council, the Planning Enforcement team and the Planning Inspectorate. The case was complex and Nicholas took it over after I was misguided by the architect, which introduced additional challenges. I was incredibly fortunate to be in the experienced hands with Nicholas. His experience and measured approach meant we secured the necessary approvals. I highly recommend the firm.

Disgusting experience. A complete and utter waste of money.

The entire setup feels designed to extract fees rather than deliver results. Every breath, every phone call, every sentence is chargeable — at eye-watering rates — with very little to show for it. Instead of focusing on winning or progressing the case, the solicitor spent more time arguing, deflecting responsibility, and making sure the blame was placed firmly on the client.

The attitude was rude, dismissive, and frankly unprofessional. Collaboration was non-existent. I introduced experienced planning consultants and architects to assist, and every single one independently reached the same conclusion: unhelpful, combative, and poor value.

What makes this worse is that the service appears to prey on clients who are already under pressure — turning stress into a revenue stream rather than offering genuine legal support.

I am genuinely disgusted at how much time and money was wasted. There is nothing of substance here that justified the fees charged. I would strongly warn anyone considering this firm to look elsewhere.

At my wits end after very bad advice and 2 failed attempts for a certificate of lawfulness on a caravan,plus the threat of eviction ,I found KSLaw .

The worst decision I ever made coming…
The worst decision I ever made coming to this company and if I could leave no stars that would be better. I have lost 125 year old barn and paid Mr Kingsley £93k to what I was told "this would be the best money I ever spent" I am utterly mortified I am 73 years old and feel I have been used as a cash machine. A very arrogant man and would not listen to me, and told me he knows better. PLEASE LISTEN TO ME AND SAVE YOUR MONEY. One Star is much to generous minus 10 stars would be more apt. Richard Turpin use to wear a mask? I suggested 3 avenues to go down, he chose to ignore all that, and thought he knew best, what a horrible arrogant man. I will regret choosing Mr Kingley's for the rest of my days, I hope enjoy my pension money and can sleep at night. I have asked the ombudsman to intervene, let see what they have to say about all this, hopefully I will get some justice.

Simply the best planning solicitors we have ever used! Down to earth, plain speaking and a true inspiration to all. Nicholas helped us resolve tricky planning issues with a housing development, that included historical aspects. We have used many solicitors for planning related projects, but Nicholas certainly wipes the floor with anybody we have used previously. His experience and knowledge are of the highest degree possible, pleased they are on our side and not our opposition!
