Can't fault the paint - but the price I can.
Can't fault the paint.
But can fault the price point.
Was disappointed to find that even with the intake of air in hitting the go button on two pots 1 litre paint costing £100 that then I was expected to pay and extra £20 VAT & for delivery! Unbelievable prices.
I wish having healthy paints wasn't just for the rich but was more accessible.
MDF primer and Lacquer were just fine otherwise, very happy.

Hello Esther
many thanks for your feedback - we know its not easy in 2026 when everything is SO expensive - including our ingredients & overheads - but the delivery was our usual £5.99.
We would really like to make cheaper products, but it just happens that the two items you chose are indeed quite expensive.
thanks again. ian. tech manager

many thanks for your observations, description and kind words.

Needed only one coat
Although the washable mat paint was more expensive than I would have liked, it was top quality and whereas with a standard paint brand I would have had to do two coats, I got by with just one coat and it looks great!

Look forward to using
The cans had a few small dents but I checked with the company that it wouldn't affect anything. They reassured us that it would not. Haven't used it yet, but from previous purchase was very good.

Hello Julia
I am very sorry about that - and all should be perfect - we would always replace them FOC if asked - but you had said to us (quote) - "Both tins have smallish dents" - and you then accepted them without further comment. many thanks ian. tech manager

Great customer service! Beautiful paint finish 😊
I had a few questions and had extremely quick and helpful responses. Loving the paint, it's a pleasure to use, nice and thick, and has a sturdyness to the tone.

Cheap is expensive - this is worth every penny
While it's pricey, I'm amazed at how much it covered and how many flaws it covered in my prep work. I thought I'd bought enough but it turns out that I bought much more than needed because it's high-hiding and high-quality paint!

Good quality paint.
My decorator was delighted with using good quality paint. The end result with brilliant.
I have used Lakeland paint for many years because there is nothing nasty in it. There is almost no smell and it dries quickly. Great for someone who is asthmatic.

Goldfish pond fencing
The outdoor satin paint I used on a fence around my goldfish pond is not only fish-friendly with 0% VOC, but the paint is vibrant and true to the colour I chose. It is easily applied, has no odour, and the thick creamy consistency made it easy to cover the wood surface (after I'd put a coat of Lakeland wood primer on of course)
