I completed nail level 3 diploma, and even though English is not my first language, my tutor Tammy was very patient in teaching me. Staff are nice, really recommend this academy.

remote adapted to your lifestyle learning
I would highly recommend this mode of learning, if you are very organized with strong will power to learn and keep learning alone.
It is good for managing work life balance and there is remote help available. Also there is a choice and you are able to speak to humans on a helpline which is a great help.
wonderful Group
I have completed four different courses with Learning Curve Group, and it has been a fantastic experience. They have an amazing team and wonderful tutors who provide 24/7 support whenever it's needed. Highly recommended!
Designed to Drain Patience, Not Build Skills
I recently completed the Level 3 Online Counselling Skills course with Learning Curve, and, quite frankly, it was an exercise in persistence rather than education.
At face value, the course is marketed toward those looking to retrain or re-enter work, an admirable aim. However, what is rather conveniently omitted is that the content assumes a pre-existing therapeutic background. This becomes glaringly obvious from the very first assessment, where questions rely heavily on experiential knowledge that many learners simply will not have. For anyone already feeling a bit uncertain about returning to study, this is less of a gentle introduction and more of a confidence demolition exercise. Unsurprisingly, I can imagine many people dropping out early, only to then discover they may still be charged, a detail that is, shall we say, not exactly front and centre in the marketing.
As for the course content itself, it manages the impressive feat of being both incredibly sparse and unnecessarily verbose at the same time. There is very little in the way of meaningful substance or context, particularly for those new to the field. Instead, it feels padded out, stretched thinly across five modules as though quantity might compensate for quality. In reality, the entire course could have been condensed into something far more useful… perhaps a leaflet, if we’re being generous.
The assessments are where things move from disappointing to actively frustrating. Each set of questions is essentially the same query reworded multiple times, strongly suggesting AI involvement. They all demand academic-style, essay-length answers, yet any thorough response to the first question inevitably answers the rest. The result? Endless repetition. By the end, you’re not demonstrating learning, you’re demonstrating your ability to say the same thing in slightly different ways without losing the will to live.
A particular highlight (and by highlight, I mean low point) was the inability to copy and paste into the answer boxes, allegedly to prevent AI use. The irony here is almost impressive. For anyone who prefers to draft properly, writing, editing, and referencing in a separate document, this turns a straightforward task into a tedious slog. By the second assessment, I was no longer motivated by learning, but by sheer stubbornness. I was determined not to pay for something so contextless, so I powered through in four weeks, fuelled almost entirely by spite.
Another charming touch: almost immediately upon starting, it is repeatedly emphasised that this is not a qualification and will not enable you to practise as a counsellor. Which is absolutely fair enough, if only that had been made equally clear before enrolling. The marketing gives a far more substantial impression than the reality delivers, which feels, at best, economical with the truth.
And finally, the pièce de résistance: the assessment requirements that encourage you to include external links rather than simply referencing sources. Not just referencing, linking. Conveniently generating SEO backlinks for Learning Curve while piggybacking off the credibility of genuinely reputable organisations. Declining to play along with this little scheme? Expect to be marked down. Professional? Not quite the word I’d use.
All things considered, this course feels far less like a genuine attempt to educate and far more like a well-packaged box-ticking exercise designed to generate revenue. It lacks transparency, depth, and any real consideration for the audience it claims to support.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this course to save their time, their energy, and quite possibly their money, and look elsewhere for something that actually delivers on its promises.
Very helpful organisation.

Slow at helping me start the course, but swift to processing a refund!
I paid for an accredited 12 week online cleaning course. But, they made it difficult for me to actually start the course. I contacted them about the problem I was having and they just replied telling me to go through the same procedures I'd performed dozens of times before but obviously hadn't worked. I've done online courses before with the National Extension College and it was far easier to begin studying. I was so disappointed because I was really looking forward doing this course. I asked for a refund and LCG refunded my money quite quickly, even though their T&C state their refund policy is 30 days. That's why I rated them 4 stars.
I think if I was an employee of a company that did a block booking for their staff, LCG would've performed better at getting everyone started. But because I paid to study the course myself, they messed up. But they processed my refund swiftly, so well done them.

The whole enrolment process was a nightmare from the start, mis information, delayed responses and when I eventually got enrolled on the course, a few days after it started, I’ve been told today my DD still hasn’t been set up correctly (3 weeks after the course started.)

Level 2 and 3
I’ve completed both a Level 2 and a Level 3 course through Learning Curve Group and really enjoyed both experiences. The learning materials were clear and engaging, the course tutors were supportive, and the online chat made it easy to get help whenever I needed it.
The whole process—from studying to receiving my certificate—was smooth and straightforward. The support throughout the courses was excellent, and it made learning genuinely enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend Learning Curve Group to anyone looking to complete an online course. A fantastic provider!
