So unprofessional

So unprofessional. I purchased a leather jacket as a gift and the following day I received an email saying that it shipped. So I'm checking FedEx tracking every day to find out where it is and when I'll get it. After a week of FedEx saying that it is pending I decide to call Leatherup. Customer service tells me that "it was ready to ship and failed a final inspection" I'm not sure what that means but never the less why wasn't another sent out? or maybe even telling me there was a problem with shipping? or stock? or whatever was the reason they couldn't send me the jacket. So I had to cancel and Ill never do business with an unorganized business like this one again.

Regretful purchase from this company

Regretfully, I purchased two pairs of riding pants for my 96 pound, petite wife. She spent 30 minutes in them for a short ride with me on the back of my bike. The next time she put them on, the main waist snap completely came off of the pants. I called Leatherup, which turned into a two-week+ email exchange while they had pow-wows with their “concerned team.” First they told me it was past my 60-day warranty period so they could not do anything but send me a snap to be taken somewhere for installation. I pointed out that I was only 30-days into the warranty. They replied, again after conferring with the “concerned team,” telling me that it’s “basic wear and tear, and that’s not covered.” Hmm, that’s kinda convenient—a warranty with apparently changing conditions. I asked for a return label to send them back to be repaired or replaced. They said all they would do was send me a snap or refund ½ of the original cost (which amounted to $27.xx).

THIEVES

I ordered gloves and jacket, ended up finding it $200 cheaper. Customer service (I could barely understand) said screen shot the competitors price they will match it. When I did that they said the MAP (advertised price) was lower than the retailer should advertise. I proved they could still sell at any price. Not my problem anyway. They told me I could pay to return, now I'm reading all these reviews about being ripped off on returns. STAY AWAY

Refused to honor my store credit

Leatherup has refused to honor my store credit even though I have provided proof of its authenticity via emails sent to me by LEATHERUP. Very unhappy with this shady resolution. I have basically been stolen from and I will make that know to anyone planning to purchase from here in the future unless this issue is resolved. This is not the way to do business with a returning customer. Think twice before you buy from them and plan on never returning anything. Read the horror stories. Next stop... Better Business Bureau (they are not accredited and have an F rating)

It was ok, misunderstanding took place

It was ok. There was a misunderstanding at first because my order hadn’t been shipped out but eventually we got the situation under control which is why I took of 3 stars but other than that I enjoyed my leather wallet.

I will never order anything from…

I will never order anything from Leatherup.com again. The men all sound the same with a weird, foreign country accent. Transylvania? They told me I gave them wrong info. They are the ones who kept rattling off wrong info. back at me. Don't ever call these characters to order anything. It was a huge battle I did not deserve. Lord, please have mercy on me!

Not what they say they are at all...

Ordered a jacket for my husband, using THEIR measurement guide. Was NOT what we were expecting for a "motorcycle" jacket and was WAY too small. Process for returns is ridiculous. AND they didn't even give me the whole amount of the cost of the jacket back as a refund! I paid $20 to have it shipped to me, and another $35 to have it shipped back, and they couldn't even give me the full cost (inc taxes) of the jacket! I do NOT recommend.

Buyer BEWARE

Buyer BEWARE! I have bought 2 leather jackets on separate orders with no problems. The 3rd order has been a NIGHTMARE. Paid by credit card on Nov 30th. Leather Up did not issue USPS label until December 6th. Now its December 15th and the order is stuck in Tettersboro, NJ. Customer service is 'clueless' and they don't return phone calls. Asked to speak with management. No one available. Next step is reporting it to FTC. I suspect fraud.

Do not order from these people if you…

Do not order from these people if you think you may have to return an item! First off you will not speak to anyone from the US,.
They claim a return fee for $11.99 for a label that you have to print out yourself. But wait, there’s more! On top of that they charge another shipping fee! WTH! They kept almost $20 of my purchase price because their boots were not quality and did not fit true to size.
I am beyond livid. Horrible business practices. Shady at best.

Terrible quality! Shop elsewhere!

The jacket i received smelled terrible, the inside buttons were tarnished green and had rubbed off onto the leather and there was also some unknown white build up around all the buttons.

I was concerned about the quality and contacted customer service at leatherup. ca twice but got no response. I also called in and was told to email customerservice @ leatherup . com instead and that I will receive a prepaid return slip. As a result I sent an email with photos and was told someone would get back to me in 24- 48 hours.

In the meantime I had hung the jacket outside for a few hours trying to get the smell out, it started raining and one of the sleeves got wet. I hung it up inside and when it dried i found white streaks all over the leather that had gotten wet. I don't know what is going on with this jacket. I contacted customer service again asking if there was a film or something on the coat and was told someone would get back to me. It's been 3 weeks and I've heard nothing. Terrible quality jacket, and neglectful customer service. Save your money for a better brand and don't shop here.

p.s; I wrote a review with photos on their website but its not shown. Theyre so shady.

Web site kept stopping

Web site kept stopping. Started order Friday, gave up worked on it Saturday, forgot to try again and today, labor15 discount was going to explore. I don't know if it's because i use a phone or what.
Very frustrating!

Your website is $#*!. The header takes up half of the page. I wanted to buy pants but it was impossible to search for them on an iPad. Here a better web design company. They just cost you a couple hundred bucks.

Started the process of exchange last…

Started the process of exchange last month sent multiple emails & now this week got the response only to pay to have the replacement shipped. Helping to buy these for a friend really was difficult then the email for shipping said 9.99 but the only way I could complete it was to pay over $16 so now it looks like I'm also pay for a difference in cost on top of that. But my friend has waited for a month for her boots and I don't want to delay it anymore

Avoid LeatherUp USA like the plague!

Avoid LeatherUp USA like the plague. I bought a total of 4 items from them (higher priced than some other places I found later), with 2 of which did not fit properly. I tried like crazy to get a hold of anyone for a return/refund with no response to phone or emails. Not I'm going thru hell trying to dispute the charges on my credit card. Save yourself the time and headache and just shop elsewhere.
