Terrible customer service …..my mum and dad are in their 90s and ordered a garage , which they paid around £6k for, to be fitted almost 2 weeks ago . The fitters came but couldn’t finish it due to the rain . They expected the fitters to return a day or two later to complete the job but no that didn’t happen nor did they receive a date from Lidget saying when it would be completed . My mum and dad were completely disappointed having paid in full weeks before the build day and having emptied the old garage and with everything they had in it littering their property whilst waiting for the new garage to be built . I chased it up for them only to be told that because the company had no fitters available until nearly two weeks later they’d have to wait . Yes it’s been finished today , nearly 2 weeks later !! No contingency plans , no finishing off half - built garages , no thought or concern given to the fact that my parents are in their 90s and that they were extremely disappointed by it not being finished off within a couple days at the latest as anyone would expect …no, all I got was an arrogant “we don’t have anyone in the area our fitters are elsewhere, the best we can do is a week on Friday “ . I’m afraid that is not good enough but what can we do about it ?? What can my parents do about it ?? nothing . Such a lack of respect for customers particularly those not as able as the rest of us. Lidget got their money when they wanted it , my elderly parents got their garage when Lidget wanted to finish it …..useless .

From start to finish our new garage project was handled professionally by MPG Buildings Ltd & Lidget Compton Ltd. James Maher of MPG Buildings did an initial site survey in January and quoted us to carry out all works. We had an old asbestos garage and shed to be removed, which was done under waste licence. We also had our old base removed and a new longer concrete base installed to a very high standard. Both contractors kept me informed of their progress. The ordering process with James Hirst of Lidget Compton was effortless. Their installation team of Tony and Kia arrived on the 26th May. This was the hottest day of the year, so both men deserve a medal working in the intense heat. After lots of water and cups of tea, the new Apex Garage was installed by early afternoon, again to a high standard. The materials are of a high quality build and with a 10 year guarantee, this gives customer confidence in their products. Overall I’d rate our experience as five star, with quality service and helpful staff, you wouldn't go anywhere else.

Unfortunately a tree branch punctured the roof of my garden shed. A quick call with Paul resulted in an immediate cost estimate for the repair. It only took 10 days for Richard, the service technician to come to my property. Richard was efficient in completing the repairs.

Can highly recommend both Paul & Richard for the excellent service I received.

Tony and Kai came first thing in the morning and didn't stop till they finished. Put a 7m×6m garage up in less than 6 hours with no fuss and cleaned everything down before they left. George from abacus was also very professional giving lots of good advice about layout,pec and foundations needed

Couldn’t be happier with my new double garage. The whole process from base installation to installing the electric door ran very smoothly. A very professional job.

From ordering my garage to them just finishing the installation was a pleasure to deal with the people at Lidget Compton , sales,engineering as I wanted extra windows door, the installation team arrived 0700 this morning and got straight to work, all wearing Lidget uniform which for me shows a good organisation, Tony,Kai, Keaton, Richard all got stuck in worked as a great team and produced a quality job, I’m extremely happy with the finished job and would highly recommend Lidget Compton, once completed Tony walked us thru how doors windows , roller door worked, gave us some good advice on maintaining the garage , which doesn’t need much to be honest

Steve and Trev arrived on time, were polite and worked very hard erecting the garage. On completion they cleared away and cleaned up the area.
Prior to the installation liason from the office was excellent which ensured everything went smoothly on the day.
The garage is of very good quality and I am very happy with it.

Friendly efficient and fast also left the site tidy. Couldn't fault the supplier or the installer.

The whole job from start to finish was excellent, the job was done quick and expertly .A great big thank you to Tony Kai and Neil for a brilliant job all round ,tidy clean and nothing was to much trouble. A credit to your Company.

We are thrilled with our new garage. Everyone involved in the process has been great, especially Paul & Neil. Paul really helped us work out the size of the garage as we didn’t have a massive space to put it. Neil who attended on a few occasions was brilliant, very knowledgeable, took his time to put the garage up, sorted anything out that we raised. He is a credit to Lidget Compton we are thankful for him being on our build.

The team Trev and Steve were polite, timeous and professional. The product was installed quickly with the least disruption to my household. Product quality was good and allaspects of the product were clearly explained to me.

The whole project went very smoothly from start to finish without any hitches. The garage was assembled within a couple of hours. Well done to Tony and Kai!

Tony and Kai arrived on time, explained what they were going to do. Both worked extremly hard and had the garage up in no time. Tony and Kai left the site in a clean and tidy condition. We are very pleased with the garage and would recomend Compton lidget company.

the purchase was easy and staff were very knowledgeable and the 2 installers Tony and Kai arrived and started work instantly never stopped (not on the phone) cleaned up at the end and left my garage looking lovely

The company were very helpful and and explained everything to me the only thing that was they didn't phone me to say when they were going to be attending Trev Steve and Keaton were very good in helping me put items i could not lift back in the garage
