Pre purchase information was helpful and initial fitting went well 5 years ago, however the door has dropped twice adjusted once but is now snagging the door defender fixed with locking 2inch rawplug rawlbolts again. Rather than providing instructions how to adjust the door mechanism or bolts to adjust the door as requested the response is "If the door is just touching the door defender, the best solution is to chase the bracket for the door defender into the ground (concrete) to give the extra clearance required. Not helpful or an understanding professional response.

Lidget Compton have installed a lean to garage for us. The whole process from being to end was smooth and all staff we dealt with from staff in the office, staff who did the site visit and the team who installed the garage where professional, knowledge and friendly throughout. They all answered our queries promptly and also gave us additional ideas which we had not thought of. We would recommend the company unreservedly and will use them again for future projects.

Everything went very smoothly from ordering to the installation. The delivery and installation team were great as was the team member who came to install the motor for the roller door and snag the minor issues and deal with them. The garage looks really nice and is a major upgrade on the old one which had to be demolished.

The 2 man team arrived at 7 o'clock in the morning. They got to work and the weather was fine. All finished by 12 noon. Nice job done and all waste taken away. The 2 lads were Trev and Reegan.

We are very pleased with our new Lidget Compton garage . We went for the Pent Deluxe . I was a little worried it might be a little low as I'm 6 ft 2 in but I need not have worried as there is enough headroom to spare ! The quality seems very good and Tony and Kai did a first class job of putting it all together . They were on time , tidy and courteous , and checked with our neighbours if the lorry would be in their way . They also explained everything to us at the end . We would definitely recommend Lidget Compton to anyone in the market for this type of building .

Fantastic experience using Lidget. Easy to order and fast easy installation. Tony & Kai who built the building were professional, friendly and extremely efficient in the building of the building. They explained the does and don’ts of the maintenance. They left everywhere clean and tidy. Highly recommended this company and the 2 guys who built it.

We had our beautiful garage (20X20) erected at the end of May.
All correspondence with Lidget Compton was to the point, but friendly and helpful.
Our garage looks great. Instead of being a huge carbuncle in our garden, it has enhanced it, it's a stunner.
Our original installers were two very nice guys called Adam and Ian, they were amazingly quick, efficient, tidy and paid attention to detail.
The chaps that came to install the motor for the electric doors, Richard and Neil, after we'd had electricity connected, were also very pleasant, quick and a pleasure to have around.
The design and flexibility that these garages give, is quite honestly amazing.
As you can probably tell, we are over the moon.

From initial order to completed installation, nothing was too much trouble for both the office staff and the installation team alike. We must compliment our installers Steve and Paul, for their professionalism, courtesy and approachability. They were very friendly and spoke with us whenever we had a question, without giving the impression that we were in their way. They were also very tidy and cleaned up properly after themselves leaving nothing for us to do on their departure from site. A great service and experience from start to finish. Well done! To be honest I was surprised how quality double garage made my lidget compton. I recommend anyone wants single or double . My neibors took pictures its that gooood.

I had a Lidget Compton garage erected a few years ago without issue, but found i needed it larger.
My local Lidget Compton agent arranged everything.
Once the he base work was sorted, the order was placed, I was kept informed and a date confirmed.
The fitting team arrived as promised, and the extra panels and roof sheets have been added to increase the length of my existing garage.
The after care has been great, no wonder Lidget Compton is the best.

The dealings with this company are mixed installation and communication were spot on no problem the only problem I have is with the after sale service by the customer service department or lack of no communication from them despite repeated E Mails and phone calls to to said department still to this day the matter has not be resolved. This problem is on going from the 12/05/25 - 06/06/25 no end in sight.

Poor quality shed / garage for my mums new park home. Mum paid thousands of pounds for a new shed that had to be in the style of others on her new park home site in Stretton. Unfortunately some panels arrived damaged, which can happen and they said they would be back to sort it. We have not heard from them since, except one text message saying panels are ordered, with no dates, no apologies, no phone calls. My parents are in there late 70’s early 80’s and have spent £6k on a non sealed, poor quality shed. Our main contact who did the cement has tried to help the best he can after numerous contact from me to get this resolved and still no one contacts me from Lidget. It’s shameful, poor customer service and I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone as you have to pay all upfront before the job is complete, and mum needed the extra storage with downsizing from an already very stressful move. I’m so disappointed and now having to spend my time yet again trying to resolve it to take this added stress away from my parents. Someone should come out and look at the state of it for themselves and sort this mess out. Other people have already made comments on it. This could have all been resolved by a phone call and visit, and some old fashioned communication!

Thank you for the reply, however, I only got the date of 17th June because I contacted you again, and with your point on the base included as part of the same quote the cost was £6k. Either way you look it you can’t have the building without the base, so £6k in one hit for a building that’s still not fit for purpose and can let water in until you sort it out. Hope it’s resolved finally on the 17th June. Thanks

Update: finally had the shed / garage resolved. Lovely guys Neil and Keaton have done a great job in rectifying all the issues and making it fit for purpose on a very hot day! These guys deserve all the credit. Thank you

I ordered a customised Apex20 garage through GSG Buildings Preston. The whole process worked well apart from an issue over the need for scaffolding, the problem was resolved very quickly by GSG.
The construction team were very helpful and efficient and the garage looks exactly as I had hoped. Even my neighbours are impressed.

Brilliant service every member of staff we met were helpful and polite, they arrived when the said they would and they completed the job within 3 hours and they cleaned up after themselves I would highly recommend this company

When a roof panel of our 20 plus year old Lidget garage was accidentally damaged we were having difficulty in getting someone to repair it. On searching the internet I was pleased to discover that Lidget offered a repair and upgrade service so I contacted them and their representative, James Hirst came to view the damage and offer a solution. Unfortunately, given the length of time elapsed since the original installation the original panels were no longer available. However, James went to considerable effort to source a suitable replacement and this was fitted most satisfactorily on the 18th March 2025. It is very reassuring that Lidget Compton are still manufacturing high quality garages and are able to provide such good after sales service after all this time.

We bought out 10x20ft concrete prefabricated garage through Millbank Sectional buildings in Norwich.
From putting a deposit down to specification of the garage was very easy and straight forward. Tony and Kai arrived promptly at 07:20 (10minutes early) I provided some tea and biscuits and the job was done in about 3.5-4 hours. Very impressed over all. The in-laws had a very similar experience. Highly recommend.

Initial contact with Head Office was very efficient. After we had our concrete base laid, Lidget gave us a delivery date and kept to that.
The installation by Trev and Steve was completed with a minimum of fuss in 3.5 hours. They explained the locking systems on the doors, the need to be careful with the sealing compound and generally left the site neat and tidy. A most satisfactory experience.

The whole experience of dealing with Lidget Compton was first class. The local rep, main office staff but in particular the installation team of Tony & Kai were excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the product.
