Tony and Kia turned up as expected at 7.30am on 12/3/24 and just cracked on with my 18'3×18'6 double garage and did a fantastic job in 4 hours! Really good hard working lads I'm over the moon with whole experience and got my dream garage 😀

Lidget Compton just finished off my new pent garage today and I'm very happy. Many thanks to Mike and Paul for their professionalism which was much appreciated. Also, Mike arranged for a trusted contractor , Neil, to lay the base who did an excellent job. All-in-all a stress free experience which resulted in me having a new garage.

Oh wow!!!! I can’t tell you how pleased I am with my new garage. Tony & Kai arrived this morning at 6.45am! Started immediately and finished in amazingly quick time. Asked me where I wanted the rear door, making sure I was happy. They did a perfect job. Thank you so much. I would also like to say thanks to James who dealt with my order from the off. He always answered my questions, and replied to my emails so promptly. Extremely polite. First class service all round. Can’t recommend these guys enough. Five stars!!!

Tree and Steve were very prompt and quickly set about erecting the garage despite it bucketing down with rain. The assembly was very efficient and in completion I was given a comprehensive handover with instructions on operation and maintenance. Thoroughly recommended.

Many on here leave positive reviews. I'm afraid we didn't find that. We bought from Jeanette and Phil as they seemed decent, honest and caring. We bought a Lidget Compton garage. The installation was shoddy and unfinished. Phil completely washed his hands of it and told me to take the issues with Lidget Compton directly as they were only the agents for them. With hindsight we should have realised we were buying it directly but we didn't. Issues are still unresolved almost 3 months later.
So, buyer beware with this company. I wouldn't go near them again.

Thank you for your prompt reply below. If I may, I'll address your points in order:
The reason for the 1 star is that we spent almost £6k buying a garage that we're deeply disappointed with and had apparently fallen off your snagging radar.
In fact we had 2 engineers out to address our concerns. Both your engineers agreed the installation was poor and said they wouldn't have left it like that. Some of the issues, given the passage of time, I've had to attend to myself since the lads hasn't got materials or tools to sort the issues themselves. One of the fundamental shortfalls is still the roof meeting the roof plate detail. You speak of expectations. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a garage to be weatherproof. Ours has rain and leaves blowing in through the gaping holes in the eaves. Similarly, rainwater should not discharge onto the slab if avoidable. Which it easily is. I've had to attend to that. Other issues such as straight cuts to the fascia are also, I think, perfectly reasonable expectations.
Finally, on the issue of communication, you are correct. Prior to posting my review I hadn't been in touch since the 22nd Dec. That was because I expressed my concerns to your fitters an heard nothing back. On the 22nd December I called chasing action to be assured by a lady that your installation manager would be in touch to arrange a visit to sort this out. Since then- nothing.
In fact I called yesterday and spoke to James who was really helpful and said he'd pass this onto customer services who would arrange a visit. I await their call.

I ordered a shed from Lidget Compton through their local agents Pudsey Concrete. The details were explained clearly to me and the plans sent were exactly what I wanted.
The delivery date was set for 5/2/24 and the team would arrive between 7:00 and 7:30. As expected, the guys arrived promptly, and busily set to work - bringing the sections in from the road manually, and before long the shed was being assembled.
The building is 18ft by 12ft, with two full height windows and patio doors.
Many thanks to all concerned, but especially to Trev and Steve who were very professional, neat and tidy, and cleaned up the whole area after competing the installation - exactly as required and it looks fantastic!

New single garage installed, extremely efficient, excellent teamwork, tidy, job done in 2 hours, incredible, finished result is first-rate, Adam, Ian and Tony were courteous and helpful, we couldn't be more pleased, very impressed with the quality and experience overall, our local agent, James, was extremely helpful and guided us through the process to purchase the right product for our needs as well as arranging a trusted contractor for our base construction. Highly recommend

We recently bought a double detached garage with Lidget and from start to finish we have been really impressed, we did all our plans with Mike, he was so helpful and made sure it was exactly what we wanted. On the day Trev and Steve erected the garage, they were done in half a day and the garage looks great, it's solid and well constructed and perfect for our needs. Thanks

We had two large builds put up last week, on a freezing cold day, day after the snow, in Southport! The team of guys appeared at 7.30am, clearly got up very early to travel here, with two huge trucks, was very exciting to see them arrive on schedule, and what a great bunch of lads they were!
Friendly, professional and worked so hard, and so quickly! I watched them check and double check things through the day, each guy knew exactly what they were doing, left the area clean and tidy, no rubbish, and all we did was provide a brew station and some bacon sandwiches. They left just after midday, both builds complete. Stunned to say the least. Literally not one complaint, gave us some good advice on after care of the builds, and couldn’t ask for a better quality work or product, it’s all sound, and safe and very grateful to the whole firm. The guy we dealt with in the weeks before, couldn’t have been more helpful, no pressure at all, great communication the whole way through start to finish.
Highly recommend them. Our team were called Paul, Steve, Steve m, Kai, Toby, Craig and Trev, many many thanks to them all x

After many emails sent and received Lidget Compton came to inspect our leaking garage roof . The men did some repairs and were satisfied the problem is sorted out .
Update 23/11/24 roof leaking again ! As a customer I can see there is a design fault with the roof of my garage . There is a " u " shaped channel at each end where the roof panels sit . After a while the anti condensation material on the underside of the roof panels becomes loose and drops into the channel . It sucks up the rain water which tracks across and drips into the garage . It was " cured by Lidget " last time by ripping the loose material off but more has dropped now . In my 75 years of buying things , this garage has been the worst purchase I have made . I will not contact Lidget as I do not need the aggravation I will have it repaired myself .
