Liverpool City Sights Avis 

We didn't get to use the tour as their first driver of the day was "out sick". And the 2nd bus never arrived. We waited with my young family in the cold, at Stop 3 for over 45 minutes with no update on their website to notify passengers the first two buses wouldn't turn up.
We couldn't use the tour for the rest of the day as we had tickets to another attraction all day. So a complete waste of money.
This would have been bad enough on it's own. But having spoke to their rep at the docks who advised I could get a refund if i contact their team.
However, because i had no idea and was not notified of a time limit on refunds, I applied for a refund the following weekend, when i had a spare moment, and was told i had to have applied within 48 hours, quoting their T&Cs. So my refund was refused with no further negotiation.
An absolute waste of money and more importantly a waste of time as unable to take my disabled family around Liverpool to show them the sights. Having driven over 4 hours to get to Liverpool, I'm unlikely to get back there, so missed the one chance to see the place, thanks to this company.
Clearly they care more about following their arbitrary rules than good customer service. So, if they care that little about their customers' welfare, perhaps it's for the best we didn't get on their bus and trust their driver with our safety. Poor show team. Hope it was worth the £50.

After writing this review and a few posts on social media I was contacted by the Team at Liverpool City Sights and they have agreed to refund me!.

Perhaps that is coincidence, but maybe evidences the power of leaving honest reviews.

Have upped my rating from 1 star to 2 stars to reflect their 'generous' capitulation to common decency. But have kept at 2 stars to reflect the poor customer service, despite the final outcome. Hope you find this fair and you have a better experience than i did and get to explore the wonderful city of Liverpool.

Beatles Tour with Damion the tour guide & Katy the driver.

I can’t remember a tour that was as fun and joyous as this one.

With Katy at the wheel and Damion as our tour guide we headed off to a morning of songs, stories, and great conversation.

I was on the upper level of the bus - quickly deciding to take the second seat in from the edge so I stood less chance of dropping my phone overboard while taking photos.

We stopped along Penny Lane, at the gate of Strawberry Field, saw the Shelter in the middle of the Roundabout, and saw the famous Barbershop. The two Beatles houses where not available due to filming going on while we were there.

Damion’s personality shined though as he sang, played guitar, and enlightened everyone on board with facts and stories about the Fab Four.

We chatted as time allowed and after the tour had ended.

I’m sure many passengers had their dreams realized as we made stops at various Beatles sights along the way.

This was an absolute highlight of my two week solo journey!

Went on a tour of Liverpool today on the hop on hop off bus. Had a great time. Our tour guide Donna was brilliant, she was knowledgeable and fun. Tom the driver was ace. I would highly recommend the tour. I was born in Liverpool and visit regularly but have never noticed the beautiful architecture of the iconic buildings all around the city. Had the best day 😊

What a brilliant experience. We went on the Beatles tour. Chris the guide was brilliant, sharing his wealth of knowledge with warmth and humour. You could see he loved the Beatles and Liverpool answering our questions on both, Dave the driver treated us with care and respect. Thank you both.

We picked up the tour at 2.30 got off at the docks after 4 stops walked around had a late lunch went to get back on the at 4.30 when we were told the bus stops at 4pm we paid £28 per couple 🤬 rip off.. Says the ticket is 24 hours no use to us as going home

We had a lovely day in Liverpool and got around using the hop on hop off bus. Jimmy kept up a hilarious yet informative commentary. It is good value for money.

We would highly recommend the Beatles tour which was very informative and interesting, and will certainly go again. It was my birthday and Damion really made it a special day for me and 3 family members who were with me. He sang, played the guitar, included everyone, and we were sorry when the tour ended! Dave was a good, careful driver, but unfortunately both men supported the wrong football teams!

The driver, Arthur, and tour guide Chris were fantastic!!! They were informative and hilarious in equal measure. I would certainly recommend the tour to anyone and we'll never forget Arthur and Chris thanks to the endless selfies they took!!! 😂

Great experience even though very wet day. Dave and Jen were excellent. Thoroughly recommend this city tour.

Visited Liverpool last weekend and did the Beatles Tour with Tommy and driver Mark. They are to tpur guides what Lennon and McCartney were to songwriting. They were fantastic. So informative and made the passengers feel very included on the tour, especially in the rain. Loved the singing, the tour itself was brilliant and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

My husband and I plus a couple of friends, all thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Damion with his guitar, was singing various Beatles songs, applicable to the area we were driving through, (joined by the passengers), whilst at the same time being very informative about Liverpool and the Beatles. Absolutely loved it. Arthur was the driver and he was very friendly, which rounded the whole thing off nicely. What a brilliant experience!

Wir haben heute die blaue Tour mitgemacht. Die Beatles Tour. Mit Tommy als Tourguide und Ann als Fahrerin. Tommy hatte soviel Freude am vermitteln, soviel gute Laune, Esprit und Charme, es war echt schön. 90 Minuten, die mich richtig glücklich gemacht haben. Vielen Dank

We had such an amazing time on the City & Beatles Blue Route tour today! We done the 12.30 tour and the guide Chris was unbelievable, lots of entertainment and fun facts about the City and Beatles. The tour takes you out to the southern part of the city which was also very nice. Will definitely do this tour on my next visit to Liverpool! Highly recommend to all visitors in the city!

Matt the tour guide and Colin the driver were brilliant today.
My First ever Beatles city tour, very informative about loads of buildings around the town and surrounding areas, making sure we all got a good view of the attractions and landmarks.
Giving us plenty of time for photos on and off the bus.
I know it’s their job but so knowledgeable and funny, definitely made the tour, keeping my interest, not just reeling off a list
It was a spur of the moment decision to do the tour, but well worth it and super pleased we did it.

An absolutely brilliant 90 minutes, well worth the money. Our guide was Damien and driver Colin. Damien was incredibly knowledgeable, witty and his singing and guitar playing was very entertaining. Both were very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend.

A very good & enjoyable tour. Our driver Arthur & tour guide Chris were a great double act. Chris's knowledge was excellent as was his sense of humour & singing with his ukulele. Definitely recommend this tour.

Hop on hop off beatles tour bus was absolutely fantastic! Many sights to see and tour guide was very informative & knowledgeable. He was engaging, with quite a few jokes & songs with his banjo to enjoy. Team & management went over and beyond to make sure we made the tour on time after a mishap with busses. Could not recommend them enough. Definitely one to add to the list if visiting Liverpool.
