No notice other than a last minute call the night before that the courtesy car that was booked was now unavailable.
The garage advised the service woumd only take an hour it took 3 hours. They said who ever called in the booking advised the wrong service they thought it was 10k service it was 20 k. They also did not advise there was a product recall.
The reception were rude unhelpful and at no stage were they forthcoming with communications on why the service was taking so long.
The whole experience is not unfortunately new this happens regularly with Kia Lookers servicing. If we didn't have to go to kia fir the service I wouldn't but unfortunately the warranty may be harmed if we went elsewhere.

Absolutely incredible & fantastic experience from start to finish! The staff were welcoming, honest, and incredibly helpful, making the whole car-buying process easy and enjoyable. Special thanks to Graeme & Paul who went above & beyond what is expected from staff at a garage. They listened to our preferences & gave us faultless exceptional service. Everything was clearly explained, there was no pressure, and the car was in excellent condition when I collected it. They answered any questions or queries promptly & professionally. I’m absolutely delighted with my purchase and couldn’t recommend this garage highly enough to anyone. Thank you for an amazing service!

Very quick and easy to book an appointment. However was not informed until arrival that if the fault was not as described there could be a £180 diagnostic charge. Fault was as described and repaired at no cost under warranty.

Total rubbish at parts dept.
They need a trip to specsavers.
Wrong part number given as they said no longer listed as vehicle was 20yr old i searched the nett ,got the item from Illinoise at a cost of £10 + £30 post to find he was wrong with the part number.
Checked with Allingtons Ashington yes we can have one tomorrow ,5 available at KIA Total cost £18 -97 .yes saw your reply ,NO I DO NOT Want CUSTOMER SERVICES THIS WILL STAY LIVE.

Part exchange arranged and no pressure to buy any additional add ons. Special mention to Andrew for his friendly and prompt service. Car ready to collect as agreed, paperwork and tax quickly sorted and back on my way. Well worth the drive from NE Scotland for car I wanted at a good price and hassle free experience. My sportage had service on Tuesday, nothing needed doing .
Picked car up , whilst driving home thought I could smell fumes , and a noise as if something else was running .
Drove the car the next morning same again fumes coming in to car .
Drove straight to lookers receptionist was very helpful got one of the fitters to have a look .
Straight away he could smell fumes coming, on lifting the bonnet found tha oil cap had not been put back on , that’s why the fumes were coming through the dash .

My daughter dropped the car off at 8.30am I received a text/video at 9.42am giving the impression that the car was done as the merchanic walked around the car,videoing it up on the ramp and explained everything that had been done. Daughter returned to pick car up at 3.30pm and was told it was still on the ramp and she had to wait. 1hr 20mins later after sitting in the showroom (no one give any update 😡) the car was ready,no apologies for the wait ect nothing. When the car was returned to us it had a quick wash( we were told it would have a full valet).Different mats to the ones I had paid extra for when ordered the car(very cheap ones put in instead).
When I renew my car it will definitely not be with Lookers.

We were exchanging our car for a new one through the PCP process and Graeme Brydon Sales Executive at Lookers Newcastle was extremely professional and supportive throughout the whole process. He was calm in his approach and explained everything extremely well in a way that we had not experienced previously with other sales persons over the years. He answered all our questions in a way that we could understand and guided us through the process of buying a new to us car. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he was a pleasure to work with.
